Chapter 66-Fairy Godmother.

The feel of his arms wrapped around her was very soft and soothing. His heartbeats were sounding music to her ears.
This was the first time, she was experiencing such a tingling feeling in her heart...
She just prayed that this wasn't a dream. Even if it was then she no longer wished to be a part of the reality.

"You smell sweet." He whispered before kissing her hair.

Her lips twitched, "You don't." She mocked him.

"Huh?" He looked down to see her face.

"Your clothes stink... You should bath." She scrunched her nose.

He smirked, "Only if you'd join."

"In your dreams." She scoffed,  moving away from him.

"Where are you going?" He asked.

"To get some clothes from Vashisht's room. I hope his size fits you." She muttered.

He huffed.

"Don't go." He pleaded.

"Then what would you wear?" She folded her arms.

A smug formed on his lips.

"What if I..."

"No.. No... No... No way mister." She didn't let him complete as she understood what he was about to say.

"I'm getting you, clothes... You just storm right away into the bathroom." She ordered and he sighed.

"Yes ma'am." He nodded his head like a militant and marched towards her bathroom.

She smiled, "Let's see what's there for him."

------------------------------------------------

"What's wrong?" Mayank asked Amrita as she held a frown on her face.

"Ambar is not answering my calls." She replied.

"Oh! Call her later. She might be busy." He casually mumbled.

"I.. I wanted to tell her everything regarding..... regarding you know what--" She trailed off.

"Okay then you can call Nakul... he would." He instantly pursed his lips.

"Why would I call Nakul? Wait... I sense something fishy...." She narrowed her eyes and he gulped.

"Oh My God! Your brother and my sister, but how?" Her pitch got higher.

"Relax, Amrita! He is in love with her. There is nothing wrong in that, is it?" He asked.

"Dadda!" Aakash rubbed his eyes, interrupting them.

"What's wrong Aakash?" Mayank queried his son.

"I'm not sleepy."

"Come, let's put you to bed. It's not good for you to stay awake." Mayank picked him in his arms.

"Will Maa read a story for me?" Amrita's heart swelled with pride as soon as the boy spoke the golden word.

"Yes sweetie!" She pecked his forehead and he yawned.

Once the little boy was put to sleep, Mayank turned to Amrita.

"I want to know your answer." He said.

"Mayank, I would be really happy if that happens but only if Ambar wants it." She truthfully stated.

He smiled.

"I was worried because you always go like a Mumma bear whether it's Aakash or Ambar." He chuckled.

"I am a Mumma bear." Amrita patted her belly and instantly gripped her stomach.

"What happened?"

"Oh! The baby kicked." She looked up to see his face.

"What! Really?" His eyes widened.

She caught his hand and neared it to her stomach.

His eyes widened when he felt the same thing again.

"Yeah." He grinned as his gaze travelled to her face again.

He gulped when he stared into her eyes and awkwardly removed his hand from her belly.

She felt doleful due to the loss of contact.

"Are you okay?" He enquired while maintaining distance and she nodded.

"I'll heat up some milk, do you want?" She asked him.

"No. Thank you. I'm just going to sleep. If you need anything then wake me up." He said and she bobbed her head, smiling gratefully.

"Good night."

"Good night Amrita."

------------------------------------------------

"Finally! Something which will fit him, I guess." Ambar mumbled to herself after picking up the t-shirt and trouser, before strolling to her bedroom.

She twisted the door knob and stepped inside.

She almost drooled over him as soon as she saw Nakul, half naked, drying his hair.

His back was facing her.

"You would never change, would you?" He smirked without looking at her.

"Huh?"

"You'll never knock before entering but you know what?" He turned around and strode towards her. She averted her gaze, failing miserably to hide her flushed face.

He smiled.

"I don't mind it anymore." He whispered near her ears and she shivered.

He quickly kissed her cheeks.

"I love the way you blush." He murmured and she smiled to meet his eyes.

"Wear these. I think, it'll fit you. I'll just dry this out." She spoke and picked up the towel.

"I don't mind either if you'll be here while I'm changing." He shamelessly teased her.

"Shut up and change." She scowled and closed the door immediately.

He laughed.

She exhaled sharply and shook her head.

"I haven't changed but he's no longer what he used to be. Mr. Grumpy!" She giggled and walked towards his phone when she saw it buzzing.

'Oh shit! Forty missed call.'

"What happened?" Nakul asked her.

"I think it's your Mom." She told him whilst handing his phone back to him.

"Oh yeah! She might be worried." He dialed her.

"Nakul? Where the hell are you?" He heard his mother's angry voice.

"Mom! I'm fine."

"You better come home soon..." She spoke strictly.

"Yes Mom. I'm coming." He answered and disconnected the phone.

"We have to go." He suspired.

"We?" She blinked.

"Yes! I want to introduce you." He murmured.

"But your mother already knows me."

"She might know you.... but not as my girlfriend." He displayed a goofy smile.

"Girlfriend!" She blushed.

"Yes, you're my girlfriend... Aren't you?"

"Yes." He circled his hands around her waist and pecked her nose.

As he was about to kiss her, the door opened in a swift.

"Oh My God! What's happening here?" Vashisht crossed his arms and walked towards them.

"Who is he and why is he wearing my favourite t-shirt?" He asked Ambar, stepping inside.

Ambar shrugged.

"I don't know this man. He was forcing me." She decided to play a prank.

Nakul immediately gasped.

"Ambar, what are you saying?" Nakul yelled as Vashisht grabbed his collar.

She suppressed her laughter but couldn't help it when she saw his horror-stricken face.

"Leave him... I was joking dumbo. He's my boyfriend." Ambar replied.

"Boyfriend?" Vashisht couldn't believe his ears.

"Yeah." Ambar furiously nodded and he instantly loosened his grip.

"Thank you." Nakul gritted his teeth and Ambar apologetically smiled.

"Care to enlighten?" Vashisht raised his eyebrows.

"Yes... I'll tell you from the start."

------------------------------------------------

Vashisht laughed hysterically whilst Ambar huffed in annoyance.

"Well that's a crazy love story. I just can't believe... So this was the dog you were referring to, yesterday?" He said between his chuckles.

"What dog?" Nakul asked her.

"No." Ambar rolled her eyes, "I just came up with something to distract you."

"Oh!"

"Now enough! Tell me what happened with Olivia?" Ambar asked him directly.

He smiled shyly.

"Nothing extraordinary as you both... We're just getting engaged." He muttered casually and Ambar squealed in delight.

"You dumbo... That's a very huge one.... I'm happy for you both." Ambar hugged him.

Nakul cleared his throat.

"Congratulations." He forwarded his hand and Vashisht shook it quickly.

"When?" Ambar asked him.

"Summer." He replied.

"That's great... Have you talked to your parents?"

"Yes... They are too excited that I fear, they'll freak Livi's parents and everything will be over." Vashisht plunged over the couch.

"Don't worry... Nothing will go wrong... Your parents are quite cool." Ambar said and he sighed.

"Ambar! I think if we don't leave now then we both will have to face my mother's wrath." Nakul whispered in her ears.

"Vashisht. We need to go. I'll tell you the rest later on." Ambar muttered, straightening her top.

"Where?" Vashisht asked her.

"It's my time to meet the parent. I'll see you later." She side hugged him.

"You better be careful..." He paused to glance at Ambar who smiled when he initiated a conversation with Nakul.

"Do not ruin my t-shirt or else I'll kick your ass and one more thing... All the best man! May God save you from getting slaughtered by this mad woman." They both chuckled and in a friction, Ambar was pulling Vashisht's hair.

"Ouch! What wrong did I say? You don't need protection. He definitely does." Vashisht protested.

"I'm mad then you're going to be a dead groom."

"Ambar, leave the poor guy." Nakul held her and pulled her out with him before she could actually kill him.

------------------------------------------------

"This boy will soon give me a heart attack..." Manyata muttered to herself, walking back and forth.

"Mom!" Nakul breathe out and she swirled around to see him.

"Nakul! Where were you? Davis told me that you left the party early and you didn't come home..."

"Mom... Calm down, I want to introduce you to someone." He quickly moved aside as Ambar stepped ahead.

"Hello Auntie." Ambar warmly greeted her.

"Oh dear!" She sighed, "It's so good to see you again, Amy... I thought you were angry or something that you stopped coming here." She hugged her.

"No Auntie.. Even I was missing you a lot but from the past few days, I couldn't remove much time." She grinned while Nakul stood perplexed. "What's going on?"

"Actually Nakul, Auntie knows everything... I never told this to anyone but she has been my fairy godmother and I've been visiting a lot to take her advice and guidance since the time I moved here. She knew that I worked as a nanny at your house." Ambar clarified but he was still stupefied.

"Nakul, you never told me anything but my daughter always did." She kissed her forehead.

"But there's one thing that I didn't share with you." Ambar said apologetically.

"Are you talking about your feelings for my son? Because I already knew that too." She winked at them.

They literally dropped their jaws.

How does she know that?

"I'm not blind to see the love you have for him, Ambar. Your eyes always dreamy whenever you mentioned him." She glanced at her and Ambar bit her lips.

"And when I'm talking about dreams, I should also mention that I'm not deaf to avoid the way you blabber her name in your sleep, my son." She giggled and he scratched his neck.

"And my motherly instincts assumes that you both have already confessed it to each other and you too want my blessings, isn't it?" She let out a victory smile.

"Yes Mom but who else asked for your blessings?" Nakul questioned.

"Yeah. There's something, I want to reveal which you both might not know and since you're here, I'll tell you." She paused to gawk at their baffled faces and she inhaled sharply.

"Your brother 'Mayank' and your sister 'Amrita' are getting married."

"WHAT?"

How was the chapter?

I hope you all were having a good.

My vacation ends here. I won't be able to provide quick updates.

There's one thing, I want to ask you all.

Do you find my writing too difficult to understand?

I mean recently I got a query whether Nakul knows that Ambar is his little Sahay?
Have I not specified it? Or either you're skipping chapters to know the end.

I request you all to read all the chapters and not just the conclusions. You'll skip major things if you don't do so. I can't tell you which chapter to read, it's frustrating if you ask me such questions.

My mother is unwell and I have other major works to do so please don't ask me such questions.

Please vote and comment.
I love to read your views.

I'm sorry if any mistakes.

Take care.

Until next time.

♥♡♥.
