Dear Diary,

Sorry for skipping a few days of writing to you. It's just that, busy na nga ako sa trabaho tapos nadagdagan pa ng love life *flips my pixie-cut hair*.

Well anyway, that's exactly the cause of my dilemma. A few days ago, Migs changed his FB status from single to in an open relationship.

Diary, I get it that what we have has no exclusivity and we aren't labeling each other as boyfriend-girlfriend pero dapat ba talagang gawin nya 'yon? And he's even blatantly flirting with his girl friends on Facebook! So I changed mine as well. In an open relationship tapos nakipag-usap din ako sa ibang lalaki. Akala nya sya lang ang may kayang gumawa nun? Ha! Two can play the game, honey.

He stopped flirting that very day. He wasn't even online for a few days. He was also very quiet at the office and it bugged Lester. Si Lester ang araw-araw kong ka-chat at hindi nakaligtas sa kanya yung ginawa ko kaya hindi rin ako nakaligtas sa sermon nya.

Lester: Hoy bruha! What's with the status chuchu? Ikaw ha!

Me: Ginagaya ko lang si Migs. Hahaha!

Lester: Gaga! Mukhang nagselos sa 'yo yung tao! Did you see his stat before he logged off?

That's my cue to check on Migs's profile.

Yun ang nakalagay. Ni-like yun nung babaeng nilalandi nya tapos may comment pa. Wat hapened pu?

Ang jeje!

Me: So?

Lester: Bruha ka talaga! Nagseselos kaya yun!

Me: So?

Lester: So-so-hin ko feslak mo e!

Me: HAHAHAHA

Lester: Yer bad, girl.

Me: He started it.

Lester: He was just being friendly

Me: Why is it that when guys flirt, they're 'just' being friendly? What about me? I was just 'being friendly' too.

Lester: Gaga. You just did that to get even.

Me: I was just being friendly.

Lester: With a vengeful intent.

Me: *le sigh* Fine. You got me.

Syempre, diary, if I can't get the most of our 'relationship' and he can, won't that be unfair for me?

Lester: Dear, it's not his fault that you're not giving him any. He was trying to do everything here. He's being sweet and generous and what were you doing in return? You shrug him off! You don't even allow him to hold your hand. Ang arte mo ha!

That hit a mark, diary. Hindi lang kasi talaga ako sanay!

Lester: If you can't open yourself up to him, let him go. Ang lagay, parang kayo na parang hindi. Sige ka. Kapag yan nakuha ni jeje girl, loss mo yan.

Diary, maldita si Lester pero may point sya. Haays. I guess I'd have to be a little bit more open and loving. Echk. Sure, I've dreamed about being in a relationship. Hindi ko lang talaga napaghandaan kapag naging totoo na sya.
