AUTHOR'S NOTE:

Welcome to The Misadventures of a Reluctant Demigoddess. This is a series of one-shot fanfics set in the universe created by Rick Riordan. Each chapter will be a new one-shot story told in the first person by an original character named Cedar. If any stories include other points of view down the line, it will be specified. The stories are being told in no particular order. I will update whenever a new misadventure pops into my head.

Some one-shots will be crossovers with other fandoms, potentially including Marvel, DC, Power Rangers, Supernatural, or whatever else I think of. There is no limit to who Cedar might encounter.

Each chapter will have its own cast list with pictures, but here is a list of characters who will probably appear more frequently and brief descriptions of them. Most are canon. Original characters will go into a bit more detail. I may add more characters to this list later.

CAST OF CHARACTERS

CEDAR ABBOTT

Cedar just wants to live her life, but she keeps getting caught up in the drama of the Gods... And not just the Greek ones, but the Romans, the Egyptians, and the Norse Gods as well.

As it turns out, Cedar is a demigoddess, born to Apollo and one of the many mortals he fell in love with. Suddenly, everywhere Cedar goes she ends up encountering monsters, Gods, Goddesses, and other supernatural beings who insist on dragging her into the middle of their problems.

Cedar has several gifts, including healing others, harnessing the powers of the Sun, playing any instrument she picks up, and being incredibly skilled at archery.

She is sarcastic, clever, and thinks quick on her feet. She has trust issues and isn't a fan of group activities. She has no interest in getting to know her father, her demigod siblings, or anyone else, but they won't leave her alone.

APOLLO

Apollo is the God of the Sun, Archery, Medicine, Prophecy, Music, and more. He is the twin brother of Artemis. He can come across as obnoxious at times but is actually a really good guy.

Unlike the other Gods, Apollo is stuck in the mortal world currently. He recently learned Cedar is his daughter and is eager to get to know her, but Cedar wants nothing to do with him. That won't keep him from trying to be involved in her life, however.

ARTEMIS

Artemis is the Goddess of the Moon and the Hunt. She is the leader of the Hunters. She is Apollo's twin sister, and although she finds him annoying, they are actually pretty close. She has no tolerance for most males.

Cedar doesn't mind her Aunt Artemis so much because she's very different from her father. If she gives any deity a chance, it may be Artemis.

ANNABETH CHASE

Annabeth is the daughter of Athena and the girlfriend of Percy. She is extremely intelligent and has little patience for stupidity. She is an asset in battle and can get herself out of almost any situation by using her mind. She's very snarky and will snap at people she feels are messing up on quests or even during training sessions.

NICO DI ANGELO

Nico is the son of Hades and the boyfriend of Will. He has powers involving the dead, the Underworld, and shadows. He takes emo to new heights and has issues letting people get close to him. He is frequently depressed and prefers to keep to himself, but Will tries to pull him out of his dark place whenever he can.

PERCY JACKSON

Percy is the son of Poseidon. He has power over the sea and water in general. He is frequently sarcastic and often ends up in over his head but always gets out of it. He is fiercely loyal and will do anything to protect his friends and family. He is dating Annabeth.

CARTER KANE

Carter is the older brother of Sadie. He is stoic and serious and takes his duties as a descendant of the Gods very seriously. He is one of the most powerful magicians in the world. He can be socially awkward and needs to be reminded to relax. He is dating Zia Rashid.

SADIE KANE

Sadie is the younger sister of Carter. She is wild and unpredictable at times, but she's a lot of fun. She tends to get into trouble. She was born in America but raised in London, so she speaks with a British accent. She is dating Walt Stone/Anubis. She is one of the most powerful magicians in the world.

WILL SOLACE

Will is the son of Apollo, making him Cedar's brother. He is a skilled archer and healer. He is dating Nico, his complete opposite. Will is cheerful, kind, and patient. Cedar isn't thrilled to have a brother pushing himself into her life, but he is determined to win her over.
