"Amy hurry up I'm going to be late for work!" My mom yelled while banging on the door, she was busy and I always had to walk to school. 'She needs to chill sometimes.' I reached for my hand held mirror to my makeup with but my finger slipped and touched the crack in the mirror. I found my self in a rift between worlds, if I looked backwards I saw the mirror on the floor, if I looked up I saw a mirror to another world. I climbed up into the other world when, a monster jumped on me, breaking the mirror. I screamed but the creature was thrown off me by a large black winged creature. "Hurry follow me!" A girl about my age said to me from an alley. I trusted her because she looked normal and ran over into the alley. "What's your name?" She asked me.

"Amy,"

"Besonnain, your mortal right?"

"Yea."

"Follow me, my brother will take care of the creature."

She ran off through the maze of alleyways, I hesitantly followed her.
