Felix Knows All

SO Felix will be featured prominently in this one. And this is mainly a funny one, but I might make a part 2. This jumps from Adrien to Felix POV's so I apologise for that. But look at this:

~*~Adrien~*~

"Adrien! Felix is here!" Nathalie calls from downstairs. I run a hand through my hair and glance at Plagg nervously before going down to greet my elder brother.

He moved to America soon after Mother disappeared, with my aunt and uncle, so I don't know what to expect other than same old Felix. Sour, sarcastic, smart-arse-y Felix. He was born ten minutes before me and he likes to rub it in a lot. He's very mature, from what I can remember, and does what he wants with or without Father's approval.

As soon as I see him, I suppress a sigh of relief. He's exactly the same as I remember, wearing dull, grey clothes, although they suit him, and a cold look in his eyes. Yup. This is Felix all right.

"Adrien," Felix nods. This has been our greeting since I was old enough to understand how formal he is. I nod back.

"Felix." My twin waves away Nathalie, rather rudely if I told the truth, Nathalie's been a mother figure ever since Mother disappeared. I frown slightly before grinning. "I am so going to force you to make friends."

He scowls. "I don't like people." Smirking, I fold my arms.

"Too bad. I reckon you'll get along with Chloe." He visibly shudders when I mention her name.

"She's WAY too clingy. And annoying. I hate annoying people." His face forms a natural frown and he straightens his vest.

I snort. "You hate everyone."

"Touche, Adrien. Touche." He sighs. "When's school?"

I glance at the clock. "In about 15 minutes. You'll get to meet Nino, Alya and Marinette. Well, maybe not Marinette, because she's nearly always late." I grab our pre-packed bags and drag him by the arm out to the car where the Gorilla waits. Opening the door, I slip in and Felix slides in next to me. And by next to me, I mean as far away from me as possible.

Once we reach the school, I spot the three people I want to introduce him to. Surprisingly, Marinette is here 10 minutes early, and I can tell she's getting teased by Alya and Nino about it.

~*~Felix~*~

I step out of the car to the sound of clear giggling. This is definitely from the blue-black haired girl in front of me. It's a strange sound, so pure and sweet, yet slightly mature. Adrien grabs my arm again and drags me over to the girl and her two friends.

"Marinette, Alya, Nino, this is my brother, Felix." Adrien gestures to me and I don't smile. I assume the boy is Nino, the girl with glasses is Alya, and the blunette is Marinette. Hmm. I remember Marinette. Does she remember me?

Marinette is the first to greet me. "Hello, Felix. I'm Marinette, this is Alya and that doofus is Nino. Welcome back to Paris!"

I raise an eyebrow. "How do you know I've been in Paris before?" Her cheeks redden and she shuffles slightly, glancing down.

"W-well, I take inspiration from your father's designs, and you used to model with Adrien. I like looking over his older designs to see old styles and how trends have changed so that I can alter my designs to give them an older look or maybe change a cut here or a colour there. I also noticed after a while that your father probably forced you to model a bit in America, you don't seem like the type to want to smile, so..." She trails off, embarrassed at her observations. I'm actually impressed - this girl, who clearly doesn't remember me, has only just met me after all these years and she already knows I don't emotion. Well, she might remember me, but that doesn't mean I won't compliment her, simply to shock my brother. I suppress a snicker - I can imagine his shell-shocked expression now.

"I'm impressed at how easily you read me, Marinette. Perhaps I can look over these designs of your with you." With that, I stride away.

Marinette was, from what I can recall, an interesting girl, with hidden strength and overwhelming kindness. Her parents own a bakery, she brought me cookies when I was but a stranger. I believe she has the potential to possibly come close to someone I may call a... friend.

~*~Back to Adrien~*~

I gape at Felix's retreating back, then at Marinette, who's also watching Felix, then back at Felix.

Alya snorts. "Well, isn't he a downer." Nino nods immediately.

Marinette looks thoughtful. "I think he's rather interesting." She- wait, she actually said that. I continue to stare shocked at the girl in front of me. Alya snickers and Nino nudges her.

"I think you broke Adrien, dudinette." He laughs at my shocked expression and Marinette whirls around to see me staring at her, and blushes profusely.

"O-oh, d-did I do or say s-something wrong?" She looks worried and extremely nervous. I shake my head immediately.

"He complimented you! He doesn't compliment anyone! He might even like you! He barely likes me!" I try to figure out how she managed something so easily that had taken everyone else he's met years.

Her face goes red. "I-uh, I don't know what I did. I just, um, feel like I know him. He's interesting." She looks down and smiles softly before full on grinning and running off to class, a spring in her step.

I just stare at her again, barely registering my head nodding. She grins and runs towards the classroom, a spring in her step.

"She likes Felix," Alya states. I nod.

Marinette is an interesting girl.

~*~Back to Felix~*~

I'm already seated at the third row of the classroom when Marinette skips in, a smile on her face. Why is she so happy? She notices me and her eyes brighten. Wait. Did I make her happy? There's a first.

"Hey Lix." She smirks, using her old nickname for me. My eyes widen slightly when I realise she remembers.

"Do not call me that in front of other people," I say sternly. Her smile widens as she slides into the seat in front of me. Her smile widens.

"So I can call you that when it's just us?" Her face is hopeful, not teasing. I sigh and roll my eyes.

"Fine."

She smiles in relief and happiness. "To be honest, I missed you, Lix. You were my first friend, you know? And after you left, my parents asked me why I stopped sneaking out with the leftover ginger cookies." She looks out the window, a distant look in her eyes. "I made you smile once." She whispered, although I could hear it. "It was the best moment ever, even if it were only a moment." She glances back at me and grins again before that girl Alya comes charging through the door.

"What is going on with you two?!" She quietly screams. Okay, not so quietly. "First Felix compliments you, then Adrien says Felix doesn't like anyone THEN I see you grinning at him like you're making plans to prank Chloe! How do you know him?!"

Marinette looks at me, wanting my permission to tell her friend of our old times. I shake my head. "Not just yet, Marinette. Let's drop it on them after they see how much I dislike almost everyone." My voice is characteristically monotonous as my eyes drop down to my book yet again.

"You heard him. I'm not telling!" Her voice is characteristically bubbly and playful as she no doubt smiles cheerfully at her friend. Marinette is a good person, she will respect my wishes. I appreciate that about her.

"Adrien, Felix said he dislikes almost everyone while talking to Marinette. ALMOST. EVERYONE. WHILE TALKING TO MARINETTE." I guess from Alya's outburst that Adrien and Nino have entered the room. And by the two sets of footsteps.

"Felix, do you like Marinette?" Adrien's voice and question entices me to look up and meet his eyes. Ah, how I love that shocked expression. Glancing at Marinette beside him who wears a satisfied smirk, I stare at him for a second and give a tiny smirk to match the girl's. Adrien looks even more shocked, if that's even possible. Neither Alya nor Nino noticed the corner of my mouth life slightly (terrifying concept, I know), but as Marinette sees it her blue eyes glitter, reminding me of the night skies we sat under.

"ADRIKINS!" An annoyingly high-pitched voice calls as a blond girl with a ton of makeup on throws herself over my brother.

"Oh god. Not her." I hear Marinette mutter and watch as she rolls her eyes. "Felix, this is Chloe." She says louder, gesturing to the girl trying to kiss Adrien while he shies away uncomfortably. It's almost amusing enough to make me laugh. "Her throwing herself at Adrien, no matter his comical facial expressions, is a regular occurrence, so please, do not refrain from gagging when she comes near, as it will not mean much in the future."

Alya snorts, trying to cover up her laughter. Nino doesn't even try to hide his laughter. "When did you get so sassy and sarcastic?" Alya asks through her hand. Marinette turns and winks at me. I definitely taught her sarcasm. Possibly sass as well.

"When Chloe first put makeup on, so, for many years now." She grins mockingly and I almost smile.

"How dare you?!" Ugh. High-pitched voices make my head hurt. "Adrihoney, are you just going to let her say that?" I roll my eyes at her, then glance at Marinette who is casually mocking the girl using her hands dramatically and mouthing the words perfectly.

"Adrikins? Adrihoney? You, young lady, come up with the worst names in existence." I roll my eyes yet again, this time making sure she sees. She scoffs.

"Who do you think you are? I'm Chloe Bourgeois, and my Daddy is the Mayor, so you better take that back or else." Marinette again perfectly imitates her and I see Adrien, Alya and Nino struggling not to laugh. I scan the girl and sigh sadly at her outfit and the amount of makeup

"I am Felix Agreste, Bourgeois, and what can you do to me that would possibly scare me? I can always get a restraining order. Adrien, why haven't you gotten a restraining order? She shouldn't even be allowed in our house, she wears way too much makeup and her clothes are tacky."

Marinette stands up and pumps a fist. "Finally, someone who agrees with me!" Chloe shoots her a glare. Marinette only gasps happily and jumps up and down. "I can get a restraining order on her! Felix, you're a genius!"

"I know." She sticks her tongue out at me and I finally let out a smile at the girl I know so well. Her eyes fill with joy at being able to make me smile, and she grins back at me as Adrien stares from me to her and back at me again and back to her. She notices him staring and rolls her eyes, a playful smile on her face.

"Adrien, give the staring Agreste."

Silence.

I groan and bang my head on the desk at the terrible pun before looking up to glare at her. She throws her hands up.

"The chance was there, and I took it!" That's when Adrien broke down in laughter.

"Great, you broke my brother." I frown, gesturing towards him. She scoffs, about to shoot back when Nino cuts in.

"Again. She broke him again."

I stare incredulously at Marinette. She shrugs innocently while Adrien tries to calm down.

"He shut down momentarily when I called you interesting. I think I actually broke him this time. That pun wasn't even funny, well, it might be by Chat Noir standards, but not by normal standards." Marinette stares at my twin, shaking her head in disappointment. I sigh disapprovingly at the choking boy.

"Adrien, honestly. One would think that you enjoy being ridiculed." My scolding tone only makes him laugh harder. Even Chloe takes a step back to stare at him.

Alya laughs at him. "Look, even Chloe moved away!" Nino snorts and Marinette pushes the laughing idiot down to his seat before seating herself as the bell rings.

~*~Adrien~*~

Give it Agreste... Oh my god... That's beautiful... I think I'm actually crying. And since when was Marinette so confident and sassy and sarcastic and witty? And what in the name of all things holy is going on between her and Felix?! Even now, in class, they're passing notes and every now and then I hear Marinette snickering at something. To be honest, I'm a little sour that they're so close when I could only get so far with her... why does she even stutter so much? It's definitely not her shy nature, because she gets along with Felix just fine, and even Nino...

Wait a second. Am I... jealous? Of my... dull, sarcastic, twin brother? Phft, no, I love Ladybug (then what is this big black hole of resentment inside?). Ugh, I should stop lying to myself, Marinette is adorable and sweet. And her eyes are the prettiest shade of sparkling blue I've ever seen. And her raven hair frames her face perfectly. And her freckles are absolutely adorable. And just her face in general is beautiful... NOPE LETTING THIS GO.

Soon as class ends I run out of the room to escape Chloe, only to be overtaken by a laughing Marinette, who is being chased by Alya. Marinette actually runs quite fast, if she can overtake me. The only person who can overtake me is Ladybug. With her eyes of the prettiest shade of sparkling blue I've ever seen, and the raven hair that frames her face perfectly, and her adorable freckles, and her generally beautiful face. Huh. Weird sense of deja vu. Oh well, I'll just forget about it, probably nothing.

Felix comes up behind me. "Ditch Chloe. Keep Marinette. I don't hate the latter, and Miss Bondage-ois is not someone I want as a sister-in-law."

My face goes bright red and burns. "How do you know I don't already like someone?!"

He shrugs. "The way you just stared at her when she ran past." He claps me on the shoulder, forcing me to look/glare at him. "Face it. Ladybug isn't looking for a relationship when she has the mask on."

"Wha-?!"

"You should change your screen saver."

"Why were you looking at my computer?!"

"You should also close out of that Ladyblog sometime."

"HOW DID YOU-"

"And change your password from 'ladynoir4ever'."

"FELIX I SWEAR TO GOD-"

"And you probably shouldn't talk so loudly to Plagg while I'm snooping on your computer, Chat Noir."

Later, at the Agreste mansion

"It's so difficult, liking two people!! WHO DO I CHOOSE?!" I wail, throwing myself on my bed. Felix sighs and shakes his head.

"Have you ever considered that Marinette might actually be Ladybug?" he says drily. I jerk my head up.

"No way, Marinette's so sweet and shy and clumsy, and Ladybug's so brave and witty and sassy."

He rolls his eyes. "Did you even see how Marinette was acting today? Besides, Adrien Agreste is so sweet and shy, and Chat Noir is such a flirt and is so annoying. Her words exactly. Marinette and Ladybug both have blue eyes and black hair in pigtails, idiot. Who else could it be?"

Suddenly my life got turned upside-down as I considered this. GODDAMN IT'S ONLY LUNCH AND SHE'LL BE SITTING RIGHT. BEHIND. ME. FOR ANOTHER TWO HOURS.

"And he's broken again. I'm going to the bakery, Marinette promised me cookies. See you later, Adrien." His footsteps recede and I sit in silent shock for the millionth time that day.

This day has been far too eventful

~*~Felix~*~

"You tell him?" Marinette swings around to face me. I smirk and nod.

"Yup."

"You take pictures?"

"Yup."

"SHOW THEM TO ME."

I hold out my phone and she scrolls through the pictures of his shocked expression, watching her giggle at his face.

Oh, these next few hours are going to be unbelievably fun.
