"Adrien! Can you take out the trash?" Marinette called from the kitchen. "I'm doing a stirfry so I can't leave it!"

Adrien, from his position on the couch, groaned loudly. "Just when I found the spot." He mumbled, pushing himself up with a sigh. He walked into their room, trying to find his discarded shoes. "Where...?" Another mumble as he dropped to the floor to check under the bed. "Ugh. Whatever." Jumping up, he grabbed the first pair of shoes he saw...

Marinette's high heels. Let me rephrase that - Marinette's really high heels. She's a short woman, y'know. She needs those extra inches.

But Adrien was an ex-model. He knew, he knew instinctively how to walk in them. So he strapped on the heels, grabbed the garbage bag waiting by the door and marched out wearing hot pink heels, a green dressing gown, the gross white shirt everybody has but nobody wears and no pants.

"Fuck, it's cold." He swore under his breath, dumping the black, smelly bag into the bin before practically strutting back inside.

He found Marinette popping her head around the wall, examining his attire with an eyebrow raised. He folded his arms as she grinned. "You do make everything look good!" She commented approvingly before disappearing into the kitchen again.

Adrien chuckled, kicked off the heels and resigned himself to never finding the spot on the couch again as she called out once more.

"By the way, you can borrow my heels any time!"

Adrien was having a great time with his friends. Nino and Alya were cuddling on a beanbag, because you know, they were them, it was inevitable. Which meant that Marinette and Adrien were laying on the floor next to each other.

The movie was good, but it was nearing the end, which meant that they would have to pick another one. It was Nino's turn, he was pretty sure. He glanced over at his best friend, about to ask him-

... Nino was preoccupied. Well, his mouth was preoccupied.

Blushing heavily, he turned away quickly, to see Marinette staring at him with a contemplative look on her face. His blushed deepened, if possible, but he couldn't tear his eyes away from her electric blue pair. She started to lean forward, and Adrien startledly realised she was going to kiss him.

Strangely, he didn't mind. In fact, he leaned in too.Mentally preparing himself, he closed his eyes...

She sniffed his hair.

"Hmm. Your hair does smell nice." She noted in surprise. "Guess I really don't pay attention."

(WEEE WIIIILL WEEE WIIIILL ROCK YOU SING IT WEEE WIIIILL WEEE WIIILL ROCK YOU)

Adrien blinked in surprise. "Did you... really just sniff my hair?"

"Yup. I think it was Alya or someone who mentioned that the smell of my hair was only beat by yours. I don't know why, don't ask me." Marinette shrugged and leaned back, not noticing the red creeping up his neck and face.

However, once Alya... detached herself from Nino, she did. And started howling with laughter. Which only made his face hotter.

Marinette was generally confused, innocent muffin that she was, demanding that Alya and Nino tell her what was so funny. Adrien just huffed and crossed his arms, burying his face in his arms after shooting the two lovebirds a glower scarier than his father's.

He was left to ponder what it would be like in Marinette had kissed him.

He'd bet his entire anime collection it'd be pretty nice...

hell yeah adrien and it'd be better you dorky dork dork

Marinette hummed under her breath, a smile gracing her face and lighting up her eyes. The warm sun shining through the window hit her bare legs and arms, warming her bones and easing away the stress from her career. 11 am in the morning, the house warm and quiet, and...

Pad. Pad. Pad.

...hmm. Not quiet enough, apparently.

Her smile grew into a smirk as she continued to stir together the ingredients in a bowl. It was a simple recipe, basic chocolate chip. Still humming, swaying slightly now in time with the song in her head, she spooned out and dropped dollops of the batter onto the baking tray. Sadly, there wasn't enough room for all of the mixture, so she settled on making two batches. She set the bowl on the bench while setting the timer...

Clink.

She whirled around, wooden spoon at the ready to catch Adrien with his fingers in the bowl.

"Adrien!" She barked, watching in amusement as he jumped into a defensive stance, before focusing on her and guiltily wincing. "You do not get to eat my batter!"

"Sorry, Princess." He rubbed the back of his head sheepishly, grinning.

She turned back around to watch her cookies when she heard the clink again.

"Adrien, I swear to god, I will revoke all bakery privileges." She growled, folding her arms menacingly.

"Oh please god no."

"Don't. Touch. My cookie dough."

"Yes ma'am."

She turned around slightly one more time, but watching him out of the corner of her eye as he reached towards the bowl....

"ADRIEN!!"

"YOU'LL NEVER TAKE ME ALIVE!"

yis

"I can't believe you did that." Adrien muttered, crashing onto his bed while Marinette flopped down onto his couch.

"Why? Do you think I was just gonna let him control you like a puppet for the rest of your life?" She scoffed, folding her arms and resting her feet on the table. "You don't deserve that, Adrien, you deserve to be happy."

"What if I am happy?"

"Then you have a real weird way of showing it." She muttered, loud enough for him to hear but low enough to betray how hurt she really was. "I was just trying to help you."

Adrien's tense muscles loosened, his expression softened as he glanced over at his best friend. She had lost her carefree posture, now sitting forward and leaning over her knees, head in her hands. If he looked closely, she was shaking. He instantly felt terrible for making her so upset. She really was just concerned about him... So, he resorted to the best way to make her laugh.

Creeping off the bed, he silently stepped towards her, much like the cat he secretly was (dunno what that means but i'll roll with it). When he was a suitable distance away, he pounced at her.

Marinette was just sitting there. Pouting, sulking, nearly having a mental breakdown, minding her own business. She was just sitting there when this nerd decides to pounce on her and start... oh shit... HE'S TICKLING HER ABORT ABORT.

Marinette squirmed, giggling uncontrollably and shrieking as she was pushed onto her back and he tickled her. She nearly kicked him twice and did punch him once, laughing loudly. This went on for about a minute before Adrien had to stop himself from falling onto the floor...

...by supporting himself with his arms on either side of her head.

As her laughter died down, she relaxed her face into a smile, every trace of anger and stress melted away already because he was her best friend and she adored every minute with him (but refused to admit she had a crush on him). The bluest eyes to ever shine opened and glittered up at him, but her smile was quickly replaced with one of that mixture of surprise and awe and something that wasn't there before as she took in his expression.

Adrien, unlike Marinette, fully admitted that he had fallen for his blunette best friend, and his only qualm with the feeling was that he had absolutely no idea how to tell her. But some days, it was impossible to hide his affection. Like that moment just then. The dying sunlight caught her face perfectly, the shadows and lights giving her an angelic appearance. Her hair was messy, spilling out onto the couch cushion, cheeks flushed pink and lips plush and parted. She was the definition of beautiful, perfection.

This vision before him left him star-struck, and that was extremely apparent in his expression. He had that smile on his face, you all know the smile I'm talking about, that really dreamy cute one? And his eyes were sparkling, green as mistletoe (christmas is coming) and his cheeks were rosy and he was just staring at her.

Unable to stop her hormones from getting out of control, she glanced down at his parted lips. He had watched enough anime to know what that meant, but he was a gentleman.

"Can I kiss you?"

Marinette knew her best friend. She knew his unrelenting politeness, the way he always thought of others. But sometimes, it really killed the mood.

With an irritated groan, she grabbed his startled face and pulled his lips to hers.

i shouldn't procrastinate

It had been going so well. She'd stopped stuttering, become comfortable. The carnival games were fun, and she had loosen up. They had even won a few games!

She should've known something would've happened.

The rollercoaster, the last ride they were going on before the Ferris Wheel to watch the fireworks, had stopped on her date with Adrien Agreste.

Her first reaction had been to slam her head on the railing while Adrien looked around curiously.

"Is this part of the ride?" He questioned. Marinette couldn't help but chuckle at his closeted life. Poor boy had never seen a rollercoaster before, or even the clown game.

"No, we're stuuuck." Marinette whined, tugging a hand through her hair. "It was going so well I was doing so well we just had to get stuck on the freaking rollercoaster and oooooohhhh no what if we miss the fireworks?! And the Ferris Wheel?! You've never been on a Ferris Wheel before! I wanted to show you what it's like!" She began to panic, ranting and biting her lower lip.

As she went on and on, it began to filter out of Adrien's ears as words. It was just her mouth moving, lips plush as ever and probably soft too opening and closing and damn it, the way she bit them wasn't fair. Her flushed cheeks with freckles splayed across the pink skin, freckles he'd love to count one day, were and infinitely more interesting galaxy to map than the stars in the sky. Her hair was perfectly tousled by the wind to have stray strands ghosting across her nose, but still be in an adorable bun. It both flattered and amused him how far she went with her looks, unusually winging her eyeliner and brushing red gloss over her lips, emphasising her pale skin. Her highwaisted shorts showed off her long, toned legs and the over-sized jumper reached past her wrists to make her look adorably smaller.

She was still ranting as he admired how she looked in the moonlight.

She was still panicking as he slid a little closer to her.

"Marinette." He smiled adoringly, stopping her rant. Her big, blue eyes shone in the carnival lights, gazing up at him with slightly parted lips and a dusting on pink on her cheeks. "Today was perfect."

"I-um-" She stammered, blushing brighter.

The fireworks went off, flashes of brilliant colours exploding in the sky like magic, illuminating their faces with dancing hues of pinks, reds, blues and greens.

Adrien kissed her.

It truly was the perfect first date.

fucking hell that was way too cute to imagine

THIS IS THE SECOND PART TO THE SNEAKY PICTURES PROMPT LAST TIME I TRIED TO DO THIS BEFORE AND DELETED IT BECAUSE IT WAS HORRIBLE SO HERE WE GO AGAIN

oh god this is going to be terrible i'm sorry

"What the fuck." Marinette gaped as Alya and Nino, after talking for five fucking minutes started making out. "What the actual FUCK.

"They might start doing that." Adrien snickered from beside her. She shot him a scowl before turning her eyes back to the offending sight before her.

"Let's ditch 'em."

"What?! But I wanted bread sticks!"

"So take the break sticks and let's go, damn it!"

"Doesn't that classify as stealing?"

"ADRIEN I WILL NOT STAND HERE AND WATCH MY BEST FRIEND MAKE OUT WITH SOME DUDE I'VE NEVER SEEN BEFORE."

"Okay, okay, let me just stuff them into your bag and we'll go."

"Why my bag?"

"Because I don't have a bag!"

"Point taken. Let's go."

i don't know what the fuck is happening i just spent 11 hours yesterday shopping without internet so i'm exhausted and it's this or the crappy version your pick

"So." Marinette changed from her dress into tracksuit pants and an over-sized shirt. Breadcrumbs were all over her shirt and half a bread stick was in her hand as she spoke with bread in her mouth. "What movie do you wanna watch?"

"Do you have The Princess Bride?" Adrien too had changed, well, kinda. He'd raided Marinette's closet, because he didn't have comfort clothes, for a huge shirt which apparently belonged to her father and just took of his pants to reveal black boxers with green paw prints.

"Yeah. What, do you wanna marathon classics? Next up, The Breakfast Club then Breakfast at Tiffany's?" She turned around from where she was crouching next to a box, a smirk on her face.

"I've never seen those movies."

"We're watching them."

"Do I get a choice?"

"It's my house!"

"Yes milady."

okay that was short af but i feel like i took too long with this.
