You are in WHAP writing piles on piles of flashcards as you usually would, tiring your wrists from the excessive labored writing. You pause, taking away precious time you don't have, to ponder on the irony of school. It was mandated to end child labor... and yet...

Child labor continues to wear down the weary souls of children across the nation- no, the world- every single year. In the land of the free, the children of undocumented citizens can be exploited for labor under the threat of deportation. Not to mention the more visible child labor in far-off countries. Suspiciously, most are ones with histories of colonial rule. You would know, it was one of your flashcards.

Speaking of which... you're not gonna get done with these and sleep for 45 minutes if you don't resume soon.

As you kept slaving away at the rigorous writing, a thought came up in your head. Something so, so forbidden and yet, so unbelievably tempting. It was a dangerous choice, but as you looked at the clock ticking to 3:25am, you were desperate for a blink of shut-eye. You cover your laptop, feeling like you're being watched as you open up Wikipedia. You are met with the humble website asking for donations, nothing out of the ordinary. As you keep writing the final notecards, you let out an audible "yippee" but then feel a banging against your head. The headache ramps up in intensity before you hear a click from your telephone. You hear a message from the line as you fall off your chair and everything fades to black.
