3rd P.O.V.

Aurora Swan woke up to the sound of her alarm clock blaring in her ear. She rolled her eyes and turned it off and stared at the ceiling. She thought about how weird the last few months have been. With Bella coming to live with them and her dating Edward Cullen.

She didn't hate Edward but it always felt like him and her sister were hiding something from her. And she didn't like that.

Her dad said to stay nice to her sister and she did when they talked. They barely talk because Aurora wanted to go to La Push's school because her friends were there. She was always daddy's girl and that's why Charlie said yes.

She felt something weird go on with her like when she got some what angry the lights flickered. Her father payed no attention to it but Aurora has shes trying to figure out if there's something off with her. Or if it was just coincidence.

A knock on her door broke her away from staring at the ceiling.

"Aurora you awake", She heard her fathers voice come from the other side of the door.

"Yes dad don't worry I didn't go back to sleep", Aurora answered her father getting off the bed to go and open the door.

Her father and her walked down stairs.

"Did you get your sister anything for her birthday", Her father questioned as he got some cereal out.

"Nope", Aurora responded with a pop in the word. Her father gave her a look before setting the food down in front of her. "I know dad I just don't know what to get her", She clarified.

"Well if you guy-", Her father began to say but was cut off bye Aurora.

"That if we talked more I would know what to get her", Aurora remarked to her father. "I know dad but me and her don't have much in common and I dont know how to talk to her", She exclaimed a little to loud.

"Okay okay I get it but at least tell her a happy birthday", Her father concurred. She let out a sigh before nodding and finishing her food. Her sister wasn't awake because she woke up later that her. Her father and her have always been early risers.

"I'm going to go and take a shower and then I'm going to go to school", Aurora explained to her father putting the dish in the sink. Her father nodded while she walked up stairs towards the bathroom.

After Aurora took a shower and got dressed she left for school getting her back pack set off on with her car to La Push high school.

She didn't go to Forks high school because her friends didn't go there and her dad got her into La Push where she could be with her friends.

She knew her dad would be mad that she didn't wish her sister a happy birthday but she didn't really care. Her and Bella always had problems. They didn't get along well. Ever since child hood they would argue on the simplest of things.

It's not like Aurora didn't try but Bella didn't try at all. So Aurora just decided to give and not waste any time on it. And it didn't help that Bella just annoyed her so much.

As she entered La Push high school she looked around for her friends. Jacob, Quil, and Embry. They had been friend for so long. They met when they were 10 and were inseparable since. Even when they got older they didn't give up on each other.

But ever since she was in her teenage years she has had the hugest crush on Embry. The only person who knows is her and Quil. And the only reason he knows is because he stole her journal and read it.

"Hey losers", Aurora called to her friends as she reached to her locker.

"Hey Rory", Quil and Embry greeted her. She looked around and wondered where Jacob was.

"Where's Jacob", Aurora wondered where her third friend was.

"He went to the Forks high school to see your sister", Embry answered her question.

"Let me guess he's still trying to get with her", Aurora guessed because she saw the way her friend looked at her sister.

"Partially", Quil answered.

"Also to give her, her birthday gift", Embry finished. As she was about to speak the bell rang which she rolled her eyes.

"Well I'll se you guys later", Aurora said as they said their goodbyes. As she was walking towards her class Quil came up to her.

"I forgot my class was with you", Quil clarified to the look she had on her face.

"Huh can't believe I forgot too", Aurora exclaimed.

"So anyways I wanted to talk to you about something", Quil went on.

"Hopefully it's not about Embry", Aurora mumbled so Quil couldn't hear her.

"It's about Embry", Quil blurted out. She rolled her eyes. She didn't want to talk about Embry.

"Why", Aurora question as they stopped walking in the silent halls forgetting about class.

"I just don't understand why you tell him you like him", Quil exclaimed.

"I did I don't anymore", Aurora said as she lied through her teeth. Quil rolled his eyes as he knew she was lying to him.

"Don't forget I know when you lie", Quil teased her a bit. "Maybe he feels the same", He tried to reason with her.

"And What if he doesn't and we can't be friends anymore because I said something", Aurora explained her reasoning.

"And what if he does", Quil pointed out.

"I don't wanna try to test that theory out", Aurora decided. As Quil was about to speak Aurora raised her hand. "Please Quil this is my decision please respect that", She pleaded with her bestie friend.

"Find", Quil sighed. "I just wanted to help you Rory", He comforted her. She smiled.

"Thanks Quil I know you do", Aurora said. As Quil was about to speak a teacher who was roaming the halls spotted them and rolled her eyes.

"You two get to class", She hollered at them. They nodded and went onto their first class of that day.
