My body feels numb

I force my daily smile

The world smiles back

I hide my pain

I fear everything

No one  to hold me

I am blank in my mind

Fearing my life

No one is here

I want to stay

But I can't find

One... one thing to cling to

My threads are fraying

As I am engulfed in darkness

Wanting so much to see light

But none will ever come

To the darkness of

      My Broken Heart.
