Chapter 24 An Intimate Session

A beam of light glistened in the sky, it landed hard on the ground and blew away the surrounding trees.

Dan rose from the ground and he exclaimed excitedly, "Wo! That was one hell of a ride!" Harrison and Diana rose from the ground vexed.

"Next time try to land like a sane person," Harrison shouted.

"Ha, ha, ha," Dan laughed hysterically. A thunderclap reverberated in the sky, Sam landed with Gordon and said, "Well, that was a close one."

Diana scoffed and Dan asked, "So are we staying here?"

"No, we're going back to New York," Sam replied.

"Do you even know where we are?" Dan inquired.

"Don't worry, I got this; just follow my lead, Dan," he responded by placing his hands on his shoulders and firming his grip to assure him. He then stretched his hand out to Gordon.

"This is humiliating," replied Gordon as he grabbed his hand. Sam pulled him closer to him while he wrapped his arms around his abdomen. Sam then took off and flew away.

"Who died and made him a leader?" Dan asked.

Dan's body was then engulfed in a coat of flames, he stretched his hand out to them and asked, "Who wants a ride on the Dan Express?"

"No way," Diana replied.

She generated a wine-purple aura that encompassed her body. She then used the aura's force to propel herself from the ground.

With a smirk, he turned to face Harrison. The young lad raked his facial features with his hand and sighed, "Jeez, not again!" He grabbed Dan's hand and they flew off following the others.

Flashback

Inside escape pod

"Whoo-hoo!" Dan yelled ecstatically. The pod's lights turned red as the ship's A.I. said, "Warning!!! Laser beam detected!!!

Sam looked at the window and said, "Oh shit!!!"

A red, fiery beam traveled toward the ship and he exclaimed with urgency, "We gotta go. Right now!!!!

The laser beam contacted the ship which then exploded; but before all that, Sam and the others escaped while the ship exploded.

Back at Seth's Mothership, in his control Room; the disgruntled warrior sat on his chair and watched as the ship was blown to hell through the large hologram screen that stood afloat in front of his chair. Since the screen showed him footage of what transpired outside of his mothership. The footage was recorded by one of his many cameras, there were some built-in hallways and multiple rooms from inside. Also, there were some cameras that were built on the exterior surface of his vessel.

Doubt hovered in his head like a spider as he watched, attempting to predict what happened to them. It entwined a network of cobwebs that symbolized the never-ending stream of ideas that sought multiple possibilities as to how they escaped.

"Rewind, and zoom in on the footage. I want to see whether they've escaped from my attack!"

"But sir, there is no way that they survived that attack. The laser beam eviscerated their ship to rubbles," responded one of his subordinates.

"Do as you're told, and without question!" He demanded.

His subordinates rewinded the footage to when the laser beam was launched at his siblings. They focused on the small portion of the ship and increased its size for great and clear detail. In doing so, three large figures coated in different colored auras burst out of the scout ship right before the laser beam scorched the scout ship.

Seth sat back on his chair and rubbed his chin. Before speaking, he smirked, "So they escaped..."

For a brief while, he pondered. Once he concluded, he gave another order, "Send SS1 and SS2 back to Earth to check on the human that was there during my infernal squabble with my siblings."

"But my lord, is that wise?"

"Do as your told, you damned fool!!!"

"Yes, sir."

**************

In the wonderful city of New York, nightfall has descended, teasing dawn. Thousands of customers jammed the neon-lit, bright bars to capacity. The bars were sometimes mistaken for bee colonies because of the loud music beats that could be heard from every block, similar to how you would hear the rough buzzing frequencies before approaching the natural home of the yellow and black-striped species.

Along with the aroma of grilled steaks wafting from each well-known restaurant throughout the city. The seductive smell hypnotized the number of stray dogs and cats pawing through trash bins and made passersby's stomachs growl ferociously.

Kendall was browsing through her laptop, which she set down on her lap. She was dressed in a black sleeveless nightdress that reached mid-way to her thighs. On top of her dress, she wore a pink fluffy gown that reached toward her ankles. She heard a knock on the door and rolled her eyes instantly. She groaned as her head slumped back onto the couch.

She shut the device and stood up. She dragged her feet toward the door. Her eyes widened in shock as she opened it. Sam smiled and stood in front of her, leaning his wrist against the door frame, "Boss?"

"Can I come in?" He asked.

"Sure," She replied.

He entered her apartment and she asked, "Wanna explain to me why you were flying?"

Sam's eyes widened with shock, "You saw that?"

"Yeah, wasn't I supposed to?" Kendall inquired.

"Did you tell anyone?" Sam asked.

"Nope, not yet at least," Kendall replied.

"I wanna show you something."

"What? Are you fucking crazy, why would...." she snapped, til he interrupted her while she was speaking.

"Please trust me," he pleaded.

He walked over to the sliding door and opened it.  Kendall walked close to him as they stood on the balcony.

"So, what do you wanna show me?"

"This," Sam replied and swooped her off her feet with ease. He flung her off the balcony and she screamed at the top of her lungs in response. She was pushed against her will to the ground by the force of gravity, as the wind hit her hard from behind her back. Her blonde hair carefully fluttered above her head as she faced the dark, black sky. To squelch her fears, she closed her eyes.

She felt something solid, supporting her back and legs. Whatever this object was, it kept her afloat in the air, something that should be nigh impossible. When she realized that it was Sam, the latter smiled at her and cradled her in his arms. He blasted off with her and flew toward the nearest building. Once he soared above the roof of the building, he descended. Once he stood on the roof of the building, he carefully placed her on the ground.

"What are you?" She inquired as she stood up.

She looked at him with narrowed brows while he smiled and began the conversation, "Where do I start? I recently found out that I'm not from this planet. I'm from somewhere called Codex."

"C-Codex? So you're an alien?" Kendall inquired.

"Yep," Sam replied.

"That's so trippy," she squinted and shook her head.

"I know, right," he muttered softly and scratched his neck. He looked away slightly and turned forward to face her again.

"So those guys you were fighting last night, who are they?" She asked.

"Oh, they. They are my siblings." He replied.

Kendall walked around him and shook her head. Once she circled him, she placed her hand on her temple and raked it. She went beyond it and pushed her long blond hair back.

"So, let me get this straight. You have siblings?"

"Yeah, and It turns out that they've also been here on Earth with me all this time," Sam replied.

"Okay, is flight the only thing you can do?" Kendall inquired.

Sam smirked and said, "I can do a lotta things." She nodded, trying to digest what she just heard.

"Do you wanna fly again?"

"After you threw me off the building? No thank you," she responded.

"C'mon I ain't gonna drop you," Sam said.

He levitated off the ground, he stretched his hand out to her. She sighed and she grabbed it. Sam pulled her off the ground with haste and said, "By the way, you're the first human I'm ever gonna fly with. I'm a little rusty though."

"Wait what...." she responded. He blasted off with her as a sonic bomb erupted, Kendall held onto his garments for dear life. He looked down to face her, firming his grip around arms.

"Relax I'm not going to drop you; hopefully," he said.

Her heart raced faster and her pupils dilated once she heard that.

"I'm just kidding," he smiled back at her.

*************

An hour later, the two returned to Kendall's Apartment. As the two descended to her balcony, he wrapped his hands around her waist while she held onto his upper arms. Their eyes were locked onto each other, without wavering. As she looked up into his eyes, somehow, she felt secure. His emerald gem eyes, which shimmered so winsomely like polished diamonds, unparalysed her locked muscles from fear.

"You okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, you're not bad at flying," Kendall replied.

Sam smirked and said, "Thanks, and you're not too bad of a passenger yourself."

Kendall also smirked, Sam then looked into her eyes. Although she returned the gaze, there was silence briefly, as they couldn't take their eyes off each other. As she looked at him, she couldn't help but admire his refined jaw and his white dazzling teeth, which his lips failed to seal.

"Something on my face?" She wondered.

"Nah, it's just that you're beautiful," Sam replied.

She couldn't help but blush, and swiftly, he grabbed her by the waist and pulled her in close to taste her red appetizing lips. As this occurred, she gave in, knowing very well what his actions entailed. He placed his hands on her face and admired her almond-shaped eyes, as well as the smooth, soft, and warm texture of her skin. He pecked her on the lips, but she reciprocated by biting onto his lips and holding onto the back of his head. The two engaged in a passionate hot kiss.

The latter slipped his hand from underneath her gown and traced his hand down her back. He grabbed the left side of her rear end. By doing so, he firmed his grip around the pound of flesh, sending more butterflies in his stomach. Instinct took over, as he wanted to rip her dress off her and venture more into her hourglass-shaped body. She then wrapped her arms around his neck and continued to suck his life out of his body.

He continued to trace his hand down her body until his hand made contact with her thigh, feeling her smooth, thick legs which awakened a vicious member within. They stopped kissing and stared into each other's eyes once more. He removed his hand from underneath her gown and grabbed the lace that was fastened around her night dress.

He untied the knot and removed the gown from her body. He was mesmerized by the shape of her body and long beautiful legs. He hoisted her up as she wrapped her legs around his waist and pressed against his hungry beast. He entered the living room with her as they continued to leech into each other's mouths. He approached her room and opened the door knob. Once he opened the door, they entered her room, and he pushed the door from behind.

************

The bright yellow and orange star returned to his throne in New York, alerting the citizens that he had returned. He painted the dark sky, blue and awakened the early birds, who visited some of the citizens on their balconies.

Moreover, some citizens indulged viscously in the liquor. They arose from their slumber in alleyways and sidewalks. Their brains rebelled against them with an unbearable ache.

Meanwhile, Kendall opened the door of her room and walked out. She wore a large-sleeved shirt that covered the lower regions of her abdomen until all the way to her upper thighs. As she walked past the living room, she was in awe as an elegant scent graced her nostrils.

Once she stepped into her kitchen, she found Sam making breakfast.

He caught sight of her and said, "Hey!"

"Hey," she smiled back.

"Hope you don't mind me making us some breakfast?"

"No problem," She replied, twirling a strand of her hair and slightly tilting her head to the left side.

"So...What's on the menu?" She asked.

"Well uh, I flew back to the penthouse for some supplies. We are having baked eggs with Swiss chard, some olives on the side, and coffee. Unless you're a tea person...I will make you some."

"Boss..." She began until, he interrupted her, "I told you to not call me boss, it's so formal."

"Okay, Sam," she chuckled.

"This looks great but I think you should go," she said.

His eyes ballooned with great proportion. "Did I do something wrong?" He inquired.

"Oh, no, no, no, you didn't do anything wrong, not even last night," she smirked lecherously and cast her brows lower.

She continued, "Here's the thing, you're my boss and we shouldn't be doing this, the whole dating thing."

"Whoa-Whoa, no one said anything about dating. Or would you like to?" Sam inquired.

She approached him and poked his chest with her index finger "No," She replied.

"No?" He marvelled

"Yes," she said.

"Yes?" He inquired once more, trying to discern what she was saying.

"I mean yes. I mean yes no...I mean that I don't wanna, I mean I really do want us to date."

"I sense a but coming," he said, placing his thumb and index finger around his chin.

"But you're my boss, and I work for you. That's going to be so weird."

Sam nodded and said, "Totally understandable. I guess I'll see you at work then."

She nodded, though it pained her to do so. He sighed and left the kitchen at once. He walked past the living room and opened the sliding door. Before he could fly away, he looked back at her once more as she leaned against the door frame of her kitchen. He looked forward and flew away.

From afar, two peculiar men in armor looked at her. It was SS1 and SS2. SS1 had binoculars on and he spoke in a rather raspy voice, "He's gone."

SS2 nodded and said, "Let's go tell our lord."

***********

Seth looked toward the horizon from the wall-sized windscreen. The sun's glistening light shone on his face. He turned his back against the glass screen. His eyes ignited into a red pigment when he saw two of his subjects.

"You better have good tidings," he said with a menacing tone.

"My lord, it is true. Your eyes didn't deceive you. They are alive," SS1 said.

"So, they live."

"Yes sir."

Seth smirked, the two subordinates were appalled by his response  and inquired, "Why do you seem pleased?"

Seth's eyes reverted back to their normal pigment, "It's because fate has given me a second chance to torment them until they beg me to put them out of their misery. Call aside twenty soldiers, we are paying them a visit."
