"Come on Lena don't leave me" I heard form beside me

"Is she turning?" Someone asked

"I don't know" another said

"I hope not" a voice said

"What will she be if she does?, will we still be imprints, Sam tell me what's happening" it was Jared's voice

I opened my eyes and gasped for air grabbing my throat in frustration. I looked around and everything seemed intense for me. I wasn't hungry and I didn't feel dead. I heard my heartbeat and I smelt my blood. Did I turn?, did I die, was I half vampire and half wolf?,

"Lena" Jared said rushing to me

"Did I turn into a....vampire?" I asked

Jared touched my cheek and I looked into his eyes. He sniffed the air and smiled widely before shaking his head. I looked down to my wrist seeing a scar appear on it.

"The gene saved me?" I asked

"Appears so" a voice said

"Who are you?" I asked

"Names Ben I'm the alpha here" he said

"I'm Jessie, this is gabe and that's ace" Jessie said pointing to the unknown wolves

"So I'm safe I'm not a leech?" I asked

"No your safe princess" Jared said and with that his lips met mine

I grabbed his hand that was placed on my cheek and kissed him back. I was so grateful that the bite hadn't turned me and that my wolf gene saved me. Although I felt different, I felt stronger and more hyper aware of things that went on around me. I didn't think much of it because it wouldn't really matter. But soon we packed up and phased then left that reservation. Heading him I was sitting on Jared's wolf because he was worried about me phasing. Although when we got back Emily rushed out and embraced me into a hug. She looked me over and then noticed my wrist.

"Oh my gosh are you okay?" She asked nervously it was obvious she thought what we all had

"I'm good no leech" I smirked at the last part

"Well that's good but I wouldn't care either way" she smiled softly to which I nodded

"Leah came by the house while you guys were gone" Emily said nervously

My body began to shake at the mention of my sister. I could only imagine what she said to Emily cause the tears were clear on her cheeks.

"Trinity" Sam said

"What did she say?, what did she tell you?" I growled

"Don't worry I'm okay I promise" Emily tried but it didn't work

"What did she say to you?" I insisted

"Just the usual how I stole Sam and how I'm Umm not worth it" she stuttered the last part

I growled and phased off to the side began running home. I planned on confronting Leah but Jared stopped me in front of the house as I phased back naked. He wasn't paying attention to the fact I was naked or he hid it well.

"You can't do that, you can't confront her she doesn't understand she might never" he said trying to comfort me and calm me

"She hurt Emily our fucking cousin all over some guy that she doesn't understand can't love her the same way anymore for reasons unknown to her but she needs to get over it" i growled
