Chapter 21-Isaac's POV

Isaac's POV of Chapter 20

"Chris, will you go ask Abby what she prefers for dinner?"

"Sure Lianne."

"I'll go with you." I said using any opportunity I have to see my girlfriend.

I'm still not fully used to that word- girlfriend. I haven't used it since Misha and I knew for sure that would never happen again.

I love Abby, I really do. Her and I feel different then what it had been with Misha and I, it feels more real.

When we got up to her room Chris knocked. I heard her say come in so I opened the door and then realized she must be skyping someone because she was smiling at her computer screen.

"Is this a bad time?" I ask

"No, actually it's a great time, I want you to meet my friends." She says with a giddy smile. I've always wanted to meet her friends.

"You're friends?" I echo her

"Who's that?" A girl voice on the computer asked excitedly.

"Don't be weird." Abby said sternly to the computer screen

She motioned for Chris and I to come and sit on the bed bedside her and the girl on the screen freaked out. She had red hair and what seemed like a REALLY bubbly personality.

"OH MY GOODNESS!" She squealed to where the boy next to her plugged his ears.

"Isaac, Chris, this is Brittany and Danny." Abby introduced us and then I realized the name Danny rang a bell. I'm pretty sure that was the boy Abby said was her first kiss. He had super light blonde hair and seemed pretty chill.

"Hey." Chris and I said at the same time. It was so in-sync that we gave each other an incredulous look.

"HI!" Brittany squealed again. "WAIT! Which one of you is Isaac?" I looked at Abby and saw her cheeks turned bright red. I loved seeing her blush so I grabbed her hand and laced our fingers together.

"I am." I said

"Alright. Well one you're completely and very undescribably hot. Two- you better not hurt my best friend or I'll come all the way to England to kill you slowly and painfully. Three- wow you're hot. Four- I like your accent. Okay I'm done now." She took a deep breath and then stared at us. "What?" She asked

Abby and Danny started laughing so hard she let go of my hand to clutch her sides. Chris and I followed suit because Brittany's face was just so hilarious.

"Well thank you, I won't hurt her, thank you, and thank you? Is that all?" I said with a smirk

"I think so." Abby said after she had composed herself.

"Don't worry, Brittany, he won't hurt Abby while I'm around." Chris said trying to act all manly again and big brother-y.

"And why is that?" I asked

"Because I'm playing the big brother role."

"Awhh!" Brittany cooed loudly.

"Why would you play the big brother role of I have four more brothers that are actually older than me." Abby asked. She had a point.

"Because I just want to. And technically you have five counting Drew."

"But I haven't met Drew yet."

"Oh shut up." He said and we all started laughing again

"So you're Abby's boyfriend?" Danny asked me, he sounded really serious. I wonder if he still liked her.

"Indeed I am."

"Take good care of her." His face was hard and almost emotionless but I don't think anyone else noticed.

"I will most definitely do that." I promised, and I meant it. I would never hurt Abby.

"Wait. Why did you guys come up here in the first place?" Abby asked all of a sudden.

"Oh! Lianne wanted to know if you wanted pasta or chicken for dinner." Chris said

"What kind of chicken?"

"I think baked with potatoes."

"Chicken."

"I'll go tell her." He got up and left the room.

"So are you guys going to visit here?" Isaac asked

"We were planning on coming up for winter break."

"Is that like your holiday break?"

"Yeah." Danny said

"Awesome, I can't wait to meet you guys in person." They honestly did seem like really cool people.

"I can't wait to meet all of you guys in person." Brittany said with a creepy look on her face. I noticed that she said guys.

"I said don't be weird." Abby said with a pointed look at her friend.

"You're the weird one." She stuck her tongue out at Abby and she laughed.

Brittany looked behind her towards a door and shouted, "Alright!"

"What is it?" Abby asked

"My mom said the food is done and hi and she loves you."

"Tell her I said hi and I love you too Ms. Nancy."

"Will do."

"Alright we'll talk to you guys later. Bye."

"Bye, nice meeting you Isaac, tell Chris we said the same thing." Danny said quietly

"Nice meeting you guys too." I said and then the video screen disappeared.

"They're really nice." I told Abby

"They are."

"What do you want for your birthday?" I suddenly remembered that it was in a couple days.

"How did you know it was my birthday coming up?" She laughed

"Because Mr. Meyers' told Chris and Alex not to forget to get you something and they told me. So what do you want?" They had told me about a week ago.

"I don't really want anything." She said with a small frown

"Oh come on, you have to want something."

"Not really." I looked around her room and my eyes fell on a picture of her and a guitar. I don't think I've ever seen her with a guitar though.

"Do you play guitar?"

"Yeah but I had to leave my old one at home." She looked really sad about it.

"That stinks." I got a great idea but I didn't say anything. "Oh I meant to ask you, do you want to go to the theater today with Misha, Chris, Alex, Tommy, and I? If not then we can just hang out."

"What about Harry?"

"Misha and him broke up."

"Why?" She asked incredulously

"I guess Misha told him she just lost feelings and it wasn't working out. Harry said he agreed with her only because she's been kind of pulling away the past couple weeks." It was true, she had been acting weird the past couple of weeks, since the beginning of summer actually.

"Wow, that really stinks."

"Yeah, they're still going to be friends though so that's good."

"Well why isn't he coming then?"

"His mum said he couldn't. So do you want to go?"

"Yeah, what movie?"

"I have no clue."

"As long as it's not scary." I laughed at her because she generally looked terrified.

~°~°~°~°~°~

"Of course it's a scary movie." Abby said as we were at the ticket booth.

"The ratings said it wasn't that scary." Alex said

"Still." She pouted and I wrapped my arm around her shoulder because she looked so adorable.

"You'll be fine. I'll be right there." Everyone started making gagging noises so I rolled my eyes. Out of the corner of my eye it looked like Misha made a face, but I wasn't sure.

We took out seats and I ended up sitting in between Abby and Misha.

When the movie started I grabbed hold of Abby's hand and every time a scary part would come on she would bury her head in my chest and make small whimpering noises.

About halfway through the movie though, just as some monster came into the house, Misha leaned over and asked,

"Can you come with me to refill my drink?" I looked at Abby silently asking her if it was okay and she shrugged so I took that as a yes. She let go of my hand reluctantly and I followed Misha out of the theater.

"It was really nice of you to come with me." She said once we were out of the theater and going towards the concession stands.

"No problem, I needed to stretch my legs anyways." She was walking really close to me.

"Oh my goodness! I love that game!" She pointed in the direction of the arcade and grabbed my hand, leading me towards it.

"Misha, what are you doing?"

"I want to play the game, silly." She was acting really weird.

"What about the movie?"

"The movie can wait." She led us into the back of the arcade and started looking at some weird racing game.

"But what about your drink?"

"That doesn't matter anymore." She said quietly and then took a step towards me.

"Misha what are you-" Her lips touched mine and for a few seconds I was too shocked to move, I was paralyzed on the spot.

"Isaac is that y-" I heard someone say something behind me, but it sounded far away. I was still too shocked to move and Misha's hands now hung loosely around my neck.

"Isaac?" Abby's voice snapped me back into reality and I moved away from Misha. This was officially really bad.

"Abby I-" I tried to explain myself but Misha cut me off.

"Isaac I though you said she wasn't coming out." She said almost boredly.

She set me up.

"I didn't say that! I didn't do anything! Abby this isn't what it looks like, I promise. I would never do anything like this." I said frantically, I had no idea what to do.

"Yet here you are doing that exact thing." She started crying and I knew this was definitely bad, she was probably so confused and hurt. I mean, just earlier today I was promising her that I would never hurt her, and now look at me.

Misha went to say something but Abby cut her off.

"Don't say another word, I thought you were my friend."

"I am your friend Abby. He kissed me." Misha's face was so passive but I knew she was lying. Abby looked so hurt and angry, she ran out of the arcade and I went to run after her.

"Abby! Abby, please! Please, Abby, please! Abby!" She ran out of the theater just as Misha grabbed my arm.

"Let her go Isaac."

"Why did you do that?" I asked angrily

"You know I never got over you, Isaac. Don't play dumb."

"I actually didn't know that."

"I know Abby was just a way to get over me so just let her go."

"You're a psychopath." I yanked my arm out of her grip and ran out of the theater towards my car.

I drove as fast as I could but I couldn't see Abby anywhere. I probably circled the block five times before figuring she had probably called someone to pick her up.

I took off down the street to the Meyers' house but when I got there the gate was locked, the pin wouldn't work or anything. I got out of my car and tried to climb the gate but it didn't work. I couldn't just let Abby go.

"Abby, please. I'm so sorry." A tear ran down my face as I rested my forehead on the white gate.

~°~°~°~°~°~

I had called and texted Abby so many times I lost count. None of her brothers were answering either so I guess I was officially cut off.

I still tried nonetheless.

First thing I did in the morning was drive to the Meyers' house and apologize into the intercom until someone let me in.

"-and I just want to say for the thousandth time that I'm really super sorry and if you all would just let me in I would explain myself and you all wouldn't hate me right now." I was saying after about forty-five minutes.

"Isaac honey?" I heard Lianne speak over the intercom.

"Yes?!" I said maybe a little too enthusiastically.

"The boys told me not to let you in, sweetheart, but they didn't tell me why. Care to explain?" So I went into the whole entire story about how Misha set me up and Abby probably hates me and I feel so stupid and blah, blah, blah.

"Well this is quite a predicament."

"Do you believe me?"

"Well I can't see you ever doing that on purpose, and even if you did you seem honestly sincere about apologizing, so yes dear I believe you." I heard the gate click open so I jumped into my car and pulled through.

When I got inside the house though, Lianne was nowhere to be seen so I just went upstairs and figured I should probably convince her brothers before her so I had some people to back me up.

I knocked on Alex's door before just pushing it open and I saw him put down his controller to a game.

"Get out before I punch you in the face." He said walking towards me.

"Alex, please you have to listen to me-" That's as far as I got before his fist connected with my jaw and I fell backwards into the wall.

"Alex!"

"I warned you, now get out you-"

"Misha set me up!" I blurted so he wouldn't attack me again. Luckily it seemed to get his attention and he stopped coming towards me.

"What?"

"She set me up! She kissed me and I was too shocked to move and then Abby saw and she started crying and I didn't know what to do and she ran so I followed her and then Misha stopped me and started saying things like she never got over me so I called her a psychopath and then chased after Abby but I couldn't find her so I came back here but nobody would let me in so I came back this morning and talked into the intercom for a really, really long time until Lianne finally let me in and now I'm here, and WOW my face really hurts." The whole time I was rambling Alex just stared at me with a blank expression.

"So you called Misha a psychopath?"

"Yes."

"Wow mate, you've got yourself in a mess."

"I know. So how do I get her to believe me? She's not going to want to talk to me."

"I don't know, man, maybe we should ask Chris."

"He'll beat the crap out of me."

"This is true."

"We'll have to try at least because I can't stand her being upset with me, I barely got any sleep last night."

"I can tell." I gave him a pointed look before gaining the courage to face my demise.

"Wait here, if you hear a thud, then come out."

"Got it, good luck." I pushed myself off of the wall and then went acroos the hall to Chris' room. I knocked gently and he opened the door.

At first he just looked tired as if he had just woken up, but then a lot of things happened at once. I felt his fist first and then I made the mistake of looking up at him just to see his other fist flying at me. Then I saw Alex grab his hand and push him away from me. He started telling Chris the story while trying to hold him back and finally he looked between Alex and I about ten times before just nodding and Alex let him go.

"Are you serious?" He asked. "Misha did that?"

"Yes, I would never hurt Abby like that."

"Well she's really upset. She had already locked herself in her room by the time we got here having no clue what was going on. Kenny filled us in on what he knew so I would recommend staying clear of him."

"Well what do I do? I have no clue how to handle this because she obviously won't want to talk to me."

"What about a gift?" Alex throws out

"A gift won't solve a problem like this."

"Sometimes it will." We started walking toward the kitchen as all three of us gave ideas.

"Well what about some kind of romantic gesture?" Chris ventured as we walked into the kitchen. We all heard someone walking down the stairs behind us and the footsteps were too light to be one of the boys. I went off into one of the rooms and Chris continued walking leaving Alex standing there all confused.

"Abby?!" I heard Alex say before he hugged her. I had to look away because she looked so upset, like a puppy that had been kicked one too many times. I couldn't even imagine what is going through her head right now. "I have to talk to you! Isaac told me what happened and he-"

"I don't want to take about Isaac." She snapped. I saw a look of hurt flash across Alex's face but he quickly recovered.

"Abby-"

"I said I don't want to talk about Isaac!" She yelled this time and I felt like I had just been punched in the stomach. She stormed into the kitchen angrily.

Alex opened the door all the way, "I'm so sorry mate." He put his hand on my shoulder and I felt like the world was crashing down around me, what if I never got her back?

I heard talking in the kitchen and then Abby yell again before she stormed out again and ran into Kenny. They talked quietly for a few seconds and then Abby pushed past him crying. It broke my heart to see her cry, I just wanted to hold her in my arms and tell her everything was alright. She's had her heartbroken so many times, I just want to be her hero that comes to save the day. All I want is for her to be happy.

I heard something slam in the kitchen and then Kenny and Chris yelling at each other. Alex and I went into the kitchen and as soon as Kenny saw me he let go of Chris and hit me hard in the nose to where I was afraid he broke it.

"Really?! Are you all done now?!" I yelled as I felt a little bit of blood coming from my nose.

"Well it depends on if you're done breaking my little sister's heart." Kenny shot back.

"I didn't mean to!"

"You didn't mean to my-"

"Kenny he's being serious!" Chris yelled from behind him.

"You keep your mouth shut! You and Alex don't know what happened, you two don't know how upset she was. You didn't see her break down and rant about how everyone leaves her and how she knew it wouldn't work with her and Isaac because nothing good ever happens to her. You guys didn't see her degrade herself and cry her heart out on the side of the road because her life sucks and she can't do anything about it!" His voice got deadly quiet as he took a step towards me and pushed me against the wall. "So don't come in here like everything is all sunshine and rainbows and try and convince me that you didn't mean to break my little sister's heart. She doesn't deserve someone like you, she deserves the world and you sadly took the little happiness she felt for the first time in a long time away from her. So either get out of my house or stay away from her." He pushed off of me and went out of the kitchen.

I sunk to the floor and held my head in my hands. Abby didn't deserve me, she deserves someone that can make all of her dreams come true and treat her like the queen she is.

"Don't listen to him Isaac." I felt Alex sit down next to me but I didn't move. "I've seen the way she looks at you mate, she loves you, and if I were you I wouldn't let her go so easily."

"Neither would I." Chris said. "What if you do something for her birthday? It's the day after tomorrow right?"

"Yeah, it is." I said. And then it hit me.

"Alright I have the perfect idea, but first we have to show Kenny that Misha set me up." I told them my plan and they both agreed.

I'm going to get my girlfriend back.
