It's been two months 3 weeks and 2 days since my experimentation. I told Jude and trust me when I say he was furious. Mom and dad still hadn't come back from their business trip so they didn't have to know. Yet. Anyway life had been going good. The family museum had been attracting more visitors. Especially a one Mrs. Megan Mahoony. She'd been coming by regularly. Mostly visiting our exhibit on mythical sea creatures. Like Krakens, Leviathans, etc. Though she always focused more on our paintings, stained glass windows, books, and statues of mermaids. But not the point. The point is that things at the museum have been going great. Though at the end of the work day is when my real fun begins.

I went outside to the back as the sun started to set. I took off my clothes so I was down to my scales. I went out to the dock behind our museum/house and dove into the water. My legs fused and grew more scales. Then my tail fully materialized. I began to swim. Faster than any normal sea creature. While out swimming I found a deep trench that i'd never seen on any nautical map I've read.

I swam down to the trench and it was dark. Really dark. I kept going down seeing if there could be some sort of light source. I heard something. A hauntingly beautiful song. It sounded like a whale's. I looked around and saw something. Someone. A girl with a blue tail like mine. But it was glowing. Her hair was white. I swam down to her and saw that her eyes were milky white. She kept singing until she looked at me. She felt my face and I noticed that she had sharp teeth. She swam into the trench. I was freaked so I swam back home.

I got out of the water and my tail turned back into my legs leaving only my scales on my legs. I quickly put my clothes back on and went inside. And told Jude everything I saw.
