"Duncan has the USB, doesn't he?"

Logan asked. He and Iris were running through the hallways, trying to reach the bridge in the fifth floor. Most of the building was now empty. Lucy, Luke and Ella had gone to diffuse the bombs because a blast could affect the nearby town.

".....I'm sorry...."

"Why are you apologising?"

Logan and Iris both shoot the guards that Duncan had put at the gate of the bridge to stop from anyone to get to him.

"Hey guys....there's a slight problem....."

Lucy spoke to them through the walkie-talkie that Ella and Logan had taken from the guards before.

"There is no red wire!"

They heard Luke shout at the background.

"We don't know how to diffuse this bomb. We even contacted Henry for help, but he is also clueless. The whole things gonna blow up any moment now, we are also going out so I suggest you both better get out of there fast. Go to the tower....maybe that will be safe. Take care you two."

That's the last of what they heard from her, when they hear one of the bomb go off. The whole building starts shaking.

"Run!"

Logan says to Iris as they both start running on the bridge towards the tower.

"Duncan is at the lower level bridge!"

Iris point at the sunglasses guy, who was walking fastly towards the tower in the bridge below them.

"Then I guess we meet him at the tower...."

Logan remarked when another blast occurs, making the bridge crumble. This bomb was at the base that held this bridge.

"Guess we meet him now!"

Iris jumps at the lower level bridge, startling Duncan who stops to look at her.

The cracks in the upper bridge starts becoming bigger and bigger and moments before it starts crumbling down, Logan jumps at the second bridge. His foot slips and he is about to fall when Iris grabs his arm and hand and pulls him up.

"Well well, if it isn't my old friend and the traitor's daughter."

Duncan smirks at them, clapping at being impressed.

Logan lunges at him, punches his face. He in turn punches him back. They both start to fight, with both dodging each other's attacks as if they know their moves pretty well.

Another bomb goes off in the main building, making the bridge shake. Iris was waiting for the right moment to attack when she sees Duncan bring out a knife out of nowhere. It was so sudden that to defend himself, Logan uses his left hand as a shield. The knife passes through the hand, making Logan grunt in pain but he doesn't move back. He instead moves forward and using his right hand pulls Duncan's head to himself and knee kicks him in the stomach.

At that moment, Iris sees her chance since Logan was now near the tower while Duncan was near her, between her and the tower. She kicks Duncan's head from behind. He collapses, being still conscious. Logan also pulls himself back, now standing inside the tower. He flinched, pain flickers in his eyes, he pulls the knife out and throws it on the ground while gritting his teeth.

Another bomb goes off and this one was at the base of the bridge where they both were. Naturally, the bridge starts falling apart, more so near the location of the bomb. Cracks starts forming all over it.

Seeing this blast, the guy in the helicopter at the top of the tower who had waited for his boss this whole time, flies away to save himself. Duncan curses at him and calls him a traitor.

Logan motions Iris to run towards the tower which was the only thing not falling down. She starts running towards Duncan, who was rushing towards the tower while groaning in pain.

"Stop right there!"

Iris shouts, still running towards him. She clenches her hands up in the air, forming a fist. Duncan, thinking how Iris is about to punch him, tries to defend himself but when she closes up on him, she skids, pulling him down she slips her hand into his pocket and after grabbing the USB, pushes him. All the while, the bridge was crumbling down behind her.

Before Iris could reach the tower, the bridge falls down and she jumps at the last step. Logan moves forward, catches her and pulls her up. While Duncan falls down along the bridge.

"Did you get it?"

Iris nods, and shows him the device.

They both find that there is no lift and only stairs in the tower.

"Let's quickly go down...."

Iris stops talking when one last blast goes off in the main building. The whole building that was already cracked starts trembling, moving towards the tower.

"Oh shit...it's gonna crash towards us...."

Logan goes to see, what's on the other side of the tower only to find that they are at a cliff.

"What do we do? We can't go downstairs since there is no time and we...."

"We jump."

Logan interrupts her and starts moving back to prepare for the jump. Iris was standing infront of him, near the open area that exposed the mountain, panicking.

"How can we jump?! We are at a damn cliff and there is a forest...."

Logan ignores her and starts running towards her.

"No...no..no...we won't survive this fall!"

But Logan grabs her and jumps as Iris's scream roars in the air.

The building finally falls on the tower, crushing it and with a huge noise, smoke and rubbles from the blast spreads everywhere.
