Two Weeks Later...

I flew in and snuck into the Mercenary Base. I quickly got my stuff and walked out.

"So you really are leaving."

I turned around to see Kira still covered in blood holding a knife. I kept walking.

"Angel. Don't leave."

"Just leave me alone."

Kira then held the knife to my neck.

"I said, don't leave." she said,

Then my phone vibrated. I clutched it but didn't answer.

"Answer it. It's most likely California."

I looked at my phone and it was Cal.

"ANSWER IT!"

I accepted the call and put it on speaker.

"Hey Allora. Are you okay?"

"No." I answered.

"Allora. It wasn't your fault." Michael said. "Don't feel bad."

"I tried to save him Michael, and I failed. How do you not hate me?"

"Allora, you risked your life and job to save him. You did everything you could. How could I hate you?"

I remained silent.

"Allora, I love you. I would never want to hurt you and I know you wouldn't hurt anyone I know."

I started to cry again.

"I love you too."

"That's enough." Kira said grabbing the phone.

"Allora? Who is this?"

"Listen here California. If you want her unharmed you come here. Alone."

"Scorpion?"

"We finally meet."

"Allora I'm coming."

"Don't!" I yelled.

Then the call ended.

"WHAT DO YOU HAVE AGAINST MICHAEL!?" I screamed.

She held the knife closer the blade rubbing against my neck.

"Don't worry about it. Just a little fight between friends. A fight to the death."

"KIRA PLEASE NO!!!"

"Scorpion!"

Me and KIra looked and Michael stood in his armour.

"MICHAEL!" I yelled. "Don't..... YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT SHE'S CAPABLE OF!"

"I'm doing this for you Allora."

"Michael... please, I don't want you to die... "

"I don't want you to die either." he said.

Kira pushed me and I fell on the ground and she charged after California.

"KIRA STOP!"

Cal body flipped her and pulled out a gun and so did Kira when she stood. I stood up and watched unsure what to do. Cal and Kira fired and they fought hand to hand combat which resulted Cal being knocked down and his helm was knocked off revealing his face covered in blood. I had no choice. I ran towards KIra and took out my AI chip in front of her. My neck pouring out blood down my back.

"ANGEL! WHAT DID YOU DO?! YOU NEED THAT!" she shreeked.

"WHY DO YOU HATE HIM IF YOU'VE NEVER MET HIM?!"

"You were spending too much time with that Freelancer." she snapped.

"I'm right here!" Cal yelled.

"QUIET!" she snarled.

"WHY DID YOU TAKE THE CHIP OUT IF THAT'S WHAT YOU NEED MOST?!"

"I NEED MICHAEL MOST!" I yelled.

Kira took out a knife and went to slash his neck but I went in front of her attack and I hugged Cal's face to my collarbone and the knife slashed on my back. Blood poured from my back weakening me and I fell on the ground. I got up my eyes glowing white and turned to Kira with my eyes blazing a white aura and I charged at her. Armour built itself onto my body and I charged after KIra. I knocked out Kira to where I didn't fracture of damage anything and. I took Cal and ran off.
