I Will Come Again
(Switching to Michael's POV)
I looked at Jackson, tears flowing down my face. Jackson stared at me as I wiped my tears.
"Michael, are you okay?"
"Jackson, I can't believe it's actually you." I said.
"Yeah, oh and, who is behind me?"
"That's my... well, I didn't officially ask her out, but she's my girlfriend."
"I remember her. She's a mercenary, right?"
"Was, she actually joined the Freelancers not that long ago."
"Tell her I said thank you for trying." he said.
"She can't hear us?"
"She wanted to give us privacy during our conversation."
I looked at Allora. I could tell she was already struggling but she held on.
"Michael?"
I looked at Jackson.
"Sorry." I said.
"Nah, it's fine. You're really into her huh?"
I nodded.
"I should probably ask her out."
"You already did."
"What?"
"Think about it. Do you think she would love you back if you didn't tell her?"
I looked over at Allora then at Jackson.
"Yeah, you're right."
"I always am!" he said.
I punched him in the arm and it surprisingly didn't go through his arm.
"Hey." Jackson said. "Wait, where's Corvo?"
"I'm not sure." I said. "He would've already killed Allora."
"Why?"
"After Allora flew away, Corvo and I had an argument about what happened. I tried to convince him that It was Scorpion but he was too stubborn to listen to me."
"At least you tried." he said.
I shrugged and sat down on a table.
"I honestly wanted to tell you that Allora didn't kill you, I thought maybe you have your mind set on that."
"I knew it wasn't her. Before I died I told her to look after you for me."
I looked up at Jackson.
"I didn't want you to be alone." he said. "Allora told me that she wanted to save me but I felt that it wasn't going to happen. She nodded and promised I would go to heaven. She was knocked out of the window and I was finished off. I did go to heaven, and looks like she kept her promise to watch after you."
I was crying by the time he finished. I nodded.
"Allora is struggling to keep me here so I have to leave now."
I didn't want him to go, but I didn't want Allora to strain herself. I nodded and hugged my brother.
"Visit soon?" I asked.
"Depends on Allora's state." he said.
I looked at Allora who was straining more just to keep him as long as she can. Her demon eye spread to the other half of it still white, but she kept going. I didn't understand why but she still held on.
"Allora?"
"Keep... talking..." she said in a strained voice.
I hugged Jackson tightly.
"I'll see you again Michael, trust me."
"Okay." I said.
We held on tighter for a minute then he disappeared and Allora collapsed on the floor.
