It was the day before Snoggletog and Hiccup was in the forge making Astrid's Snoggletog present. It had been a rough year. Hiccup's dad had passed just a month before, his mom had returned, and he hadn't even introduced her to Astrid. He wanted to but he just didn't have the time. He was going to change that on Snoggletog.
Astrid had been coming over for Snoggletog every year since Hiccup asked her to be his girlfriend. Her parents had died when she was a little girl so before she became Hiccup's girlfriend she had to spend Snoggletog  by herself.
Speak of the devil. Here comes the girl herself. Hiccup hurried to hide her present.
"Hey Hiccup!" Astrid exclaimed as she came in.
"Hello m'lady. What brings my gorgeous girlfriend to the froge. You know sometimes I think you were born in the forge." Hiccup said mysteriously after giving her a kiss on the lips.
"Why's that." Astrid cocked her head to the side.
"Because you're so hot. But honestly you still put the forge to shame." Aww Hiccup was the best boyfriend. He always knew what to say to make you feel weak in the knees.
Astrid blushed a deep red. "T-thanks." She replied quietly.
"Aw did I leave the fiesty Astrid Hofferson speechless? And bulshing." He exaimed seeing her blush.
Astrid just blushed a deaper red. "Hey Astrid I wanted to ask you to meet me at Itchy Armpit later tonight." Hiccup said.
"Sure, but why?"
"I want to give you your present privatly." He explained.
"Oh ok. Of course I'll come. Do you want both of us to take Toothless, or do you want to take seperate dragons?" She asked.
"Let's take Toothless." He told her.
"Ok. Well I gotta leave. I need to work on your present." She said. She kissed him then left. Hiccup watched with a contented smile.
He loved her. Adored her. TREASURED her even. Gods he loved her so much. He loved her more than anything. Even his own MOTHER!!!!
No ever would or could replace her. She was one of a kind. Finding someone like her would be like finding another Night Fury. It was impossible!
Later Hiccup walked to Astrid's house and knocked. A second later the door opened and there stood the most gorgeous girl in the world. She was dressed in her normal attire but Hiccup still found her fucking irrisistible.
"Hey chief!" She said jokingly. She loved to tease him about that because she knew he hated being called chief. Especially by her. He was her boyfriend and he wanted her to call him by his name.
"Hey Astrid. You ready?" He asked.
"Yep. Let's go."
Hiccup pulled her towards Toothless. Then, putting his hands on her hips her lifted her on even though he knew she didn't need it. But he still wanted to make this romantic.
He got on in front of her and she put her arms around his waist and they took off.
A little while latter, they landed on Itchy Armpit. Hiccup got off and then helped Astrid down. Afterwards, she looked around and gasped at the sight before her.
There was a blanket on the ground with a picnic big enough for just two people. On the blanket, and some of the rocks in the backround, there were candles illuminating the scene romantically.
Astrid was speachless. She got tears in her eyes. She turned towards a smiling Hiccup.
"Y-you did all this? F-for m-me?" She asked slowly.
"Yeah. I wanted to make tonight as romantic as possible." He told her gently. "Now why don't we eat?" He asked.
She wiped her tears away and nodded. Then he led her to the picnic so they could sit down and enjoy the meal.
Once they were done eating, Hiccup turned towards Astrid. 'It's time.' He said to himself.
"Astrid? You know that I love you more than anything, right?" He asked. She nodded and he continued. "Astrid, I wanna spend the rest off my life with you. I wanna have children with you. I wanna grow old with you. Astrid," he pulled out a ring and held it out to her, "will you marry me?"
Astrid was speachless. Hiccup was asking her to be his wife. She was probably the worst thing you could ask for for a wife. She hated all the wifely duties of a housewife.
"Hiccup, I'm not wife material. I can't sew, or cook, or do any of that stuff. Why would you want me as wife when I can't do any of the wifely duties." She stated.
Hiccup just laughed. "Y-y-you t-think I asked you t-to m-marry me b-because of a-all t-that? HAHA!!!!!" He calmed down and looked at her. "Astrid, I know you can't do any of those things. That's one thing that made me fall in love with you. You're different. You're not all girly and crap. I don't care if can't sew or cook. I love you, Astrid. And that's all that matters." Astrid was left speachless.
Astrid just sat there for a moment before she decided to give her answer. "Yes. YES!!! YES!!!! OF COURSE I'LL MARRY YOU!!!!" She shouted tackling him in a hug. In doing so she made them fall so he was on top of her.
They looked at eachother before Astrid spoke. "I wanna give you your present." She said.
"What is it?" He asked.
She smiled a little before she grabbed the hand he wasn't leaning on. Gingerly, she placed it on her lower abdomen.
Hiccup looked confused for a second before the fiery blast hit him full force. When it did, he stared at her, wide eyed. He looked at her face, then her stomach and back up to her face.
"T-truely?" He was speechless.
"Yes. You're gonna be a father, Hiccup." Astrid told him softly.
He smiled widely at her and hugged her tightly. Thene reached out and tucked a piece of stray hair out of her face. Then he leaned down and pressed his lips to hers. It was a soft kiss. Full of love and passion.
The kiss lasted for a few minutes. Then he pulled out and smiled down at her. They stayed like that for a few seconds before he got off her.
He pulled her up and looked at her. Then, he decided to get the other question out.
"I want you to meet my mother tomarrow." He told her.
She looked at him, surprised. "S-s-ure. I-i'd love to." She said nervously.
Hiccupp smiled happily and kissed her. Then he looked at the sky to see around what time it was. "We should probably head back." He told her.
She nodded in agreement. They walked to Toothless hand in hand. He got up and then pulled her on.
He turned to look at her. "Hold on. And don't let go."
"I'll never let go." She said back just as quietly.
Hiccup ordered Toothless to fly and they were off. Both content with life. At the moment. This  was definitely the best Snoggletog ever. One neither of them would ever forget.
