They sat at the table. Very silent. Amanda then was the first to start up the conversation.

"So what did you need me to help me with?" Amanda asked her mother.

"Well I met a new friend at work and her name is Dory. She asked me if I could babysit for her and I have work that day so I was wondering if you could babysit for her??"

"Uhhhh sure! I would be happy to! How old are they?"

"Well it's a little girl and her name is Debbie and she is 6 years old."

"Aww how cute! Yeah I would love to!"

"The thing is that you would need another person to join you since she is a handful and probably screams......A lot..."

"Oh well I guess that's no problem I'll just see if one of my friends will come with me"

"Yeah they're just some friends I made while I was the new kid there"

"Ok good ask any of them and if they say yes I'll tell my friend that she has a babysitter"

"Hey Camryn I need your help with something" Amanda said while she found Camryn at her locker.

"What is it?" Camryn said while getting her books out of her locker

"Well see my mom needs help with babysitting for her friend and it's a little girl her name is Debbie and she is 6 years old."

"Oh well I would love to! But when would I do it?"

"You would have to come Saturday at 12:00pm"

"Oh Amanda I want to but I have to do something with my family and it's pretty important I'm so sorry"

"It's ok maybe I could ask Abby or Sydney"

"No actually Abby has to make some Arts and crafts for her school club for some extra credit and Sydney has a soccer game."

"Oh well now who do I talk to?!"

"Well maybe Alex? I mean you have known him for like an hour and he might be willing to help. He helped me with 2 hours of homework I'm sure he can help you babysit for a 6 year old."

"Ok thanks Camryn your the best! But where is he?"

"He's at his locker right now and his locker number is 30 I would go find him before first period comes"

"Alex!" Amanda runs to go and catch up to him.

"Hey Amanda what do you need?" Alex said.

"So can you help me with something?"
"I would help anyone in need"

"Ok I need help with babysitting for my mom friend and it's going to be a little girl and her name is Debbie and she is 6 years old. So I'm wondering if you want to help me with her this Saturday??"

"Uhh sure I would love but would I be coming to your house?"

"Yeah here is my phone number I'll send you the address and street"

"Ok see you there" he said when she runs off To first period. "She's really cool. Do I like her?"
