About 5 years went by as the family was super excited and we're preparing for Matthew's birthday party.

"Our baby boy is growing up so fast." Roxanne said as she finished putting up decorations. "It felt like just yesterday I held the newly born Matthew in my arms."

"I know, it's insane really. Kids grow up so fast." Megamind said from the kitchen as he pulled out a cake from the oven. "And I learn pretty fast too. Come and check out this cake, Roxy!"

Roxanne smiled before rolling her eyes and shaking her head playfully as she walked into the kitchen. "Oh wow, Megamind!" Roxanne said when she saw the cake. "It's beautiful! How did you manage that?"

"It's called, practice. Now I'm a baking master." Megamind said with a cocky smirk.

"Yeah, it only took you 5 years to learn how to bake a cake " Roxanne teased. "And you didn't put any unusual ingredients in it, right?"

"Of course not, I followed the recipe exactly." Megamind said honestly. "But enough about the cake, where's the birthday boy?"

Meanwhile, in another room, there was a teenage girl with black hair, brown eyes, and was wearing a purple shirt, a lime green tank top with a blue lightning bolt on it over the purple one, jeans, and black shoes playing with Matthew. Her name is Keiko, Megamind's old student also Matthew's adopted aunt. (He just called her Auntie Kiko one time and she rolled with it.)

Now, Keiko was currently trying to teachMatthew how to pronounce some words properly. "No it's, spider, S-p-i-d-e-r, Spider."

"Speider!" Matthew exclaimed confidently before laughing playfully. "Speider! Speider!"

"Okay, okay, we'll work on that one." Keiko chuckled. "How about Metro City? Can you say that one?"

"Metrocity!" Matthew exclaimed before laughing once more as he seemed to be enjoying this game. "Metrocity!"

"You really are a mini version of your dad." The black haired girl said with a playful smirk.

"Hey, kids it's almost time for the party." Megamind said as he walked into the room. "What are you up to in here?"

"Auntie Kiko's teaching me words." Matthew smiled as he ran up to his dad. "It's so fun!"

"Correction, I was teaching him how to pronounce certain words." Keiko explained. "You know like spider, Metro City, Revenge, Hello, and apparently my own name as well. He keeps calling me Kiko."

"I get the picture, Keiko." Megamind said as he picked up Matthew. "Alrighty, who's ready for some party games?"

"Ooh, me me!" Matthew said excitedly raising his hand in the air. "I wanna play a game!"

"Ooh me too!" Keiko said excitedly as she jumped up and down. "What games are we going to play?!"

"Aren't you too old for party games?" Megamind asked with a playful smile on his face.

"You're never to old for party games." Keiko smiled.

"You're sixteen."

"And you invited me to your five year old's birthday party." Keiko shot back. "Of course I'm still gonna want to participate in the games."

Megamind just smiled and rolled his eyes. "Alrighty then, how about we start with a little treasure hunt?" He asked, setting Matthew back down on the ground and handed Keiko a hand drawn map.

"What's the treasure?" Matthew asked in curiosity.

"You have to find it first." Megamind said. "Good luck young ones."

With that said, Megamind left the kids alone to look at the map. It showed a picture of 2 different locations in the lair and then one more spot with a big red "X" drawn.

"It looks like the first place we have to go is your room." Keiko said with a smile. "The first clue must be in there. Let's go, Matt!"

The kids the ran to Matthew's room and found a single wrapped box. When the brown and blue haired boy opened it, there was a toy version of Megamind's dehydration gun.

"It's just like daddy's!" Matthew exclaimed as he pretended to shoot the toy gun. "So cool! Where do we go now?"

Keiko took a look at the map and pointed to the second to last location. "The living room."

Once in the living room, the kids found minion sitting on the couch and watching TV. "Uncle minion, do you have treasure for us?"

"Treasure? I don't know let me see if Sir left me something." Minion said with a smile as he played along with his nephew before pulling out another wrapped box. "Is this what you're looking for?"

"Another present, yay!" Matthew exclaimed, grabbing the box from Minion's hands. When he opened it, there was a small teddy bear inside. "Aww, cute it's a teddy."

Right as he said that, spikes suddenly popped out from all over the plush toy. Luckily, they were fake so he didn't get hurt. "A terror teddy?! Even better!"

Minion and Keiko couldn't help but laught at the brown haired boy's reaction to the present before they headed off to the final location.

"Now we just have to go to the kitchen and the real treasure will be there." Keiko explained to her adopted nephew. "What do you think it is?"

"I don't know." Matthew said honestly. "Maybe a unicorn that shoots lasers out of its eyes!"

"Yeah, I don't think that's what it's going to be." Keiko chuckled. "But I think you'll love it."

Soon enough, they made it to the kitchen, however it was dark and they couldn't really see anything. "Ollo? Mama? Daddy? Where are you guys?" Matthew asked, starting to feel a little scared. "Kiko, are you still with me? Kiko?!"

At that moment, the lights turned on and everyone jumped out from their hiding spots. "Surprise! Happy birthday, Matthew!"

Matthew's fear immediately went away as he was amazed by all the colors of the decorations and the cake that was on the counter.

"Wow! The treasure is a whole cake for me!?" Matthew asked in excitement. "Yay cake!"

"Well, it's not all for you little man." Roxanne said with a smile as she picked up her son. "Now make a wish and blow out your candles."

Matthew then closed his eyes and took a deep breath before blowing out the candles as everyone cheered.

"What did you wish for, son?" Megamind asked curiously.

"I can't tell you." Matthew said in a sing songy tone. "It's a secret."

The family laughed, played, and over all had a great time until the night had ended. Which was pretty early considering Keiko's curfew and Matthew's bedtime.

Once Keiko was gone and their son was asleep, Megamind and Roxanne sighed in relief as they got ready for bed as well.

"The boy is finally asleep." Roxanne said before sitting next to Megamind on the bed. "What a day, huh?"

"Yeah, what a day indeed." Megamind said as he laid down before Roxanne joined him shortly after. "Goodnight, Roxanne."

"Goodnight, Megamind." Roxanne smiled as they both closed their eyes and fell fast asleep.

After about an hour or two, Megamind was suddenly awoken by Minion bursting into the room. "Minion?" Megamind asked confused. "What on earth are you doing up?"

"Sir! It's the-" minion started to say before realizing that Roxanne was still asleep and quieting his voice to almost a whisper. "It's the Mega signal."

"I guess I should probably check it out then." Megamind groaned in annoyance as he carefully got out of bed. "Let's do this."

Once they made it to the city, everything seemed normal which confused the heroes for a moment. "Welp, must have been a false alarm." Megamind said. "There's absolutely nothing goi-"

"Megamind! Oh thank goodness you're here!" A woman's voice suddenly said. She sounded frantic and scared. When Megamind looked around he saw a woman with blue skin, orange hair tied in a bun, and was wearing a dark purple sweater, and dark blue jeans. "My name is Blueberry Comet and I need your help."
