Waterfall-Photo#1
This is the picture I felt was worthy of being the first of my photos to be put in this dump... Ngl, it looks amazing with the tiny drop that flew to the camera from the waterfall (winds were kinda heavy that day despite the sunny weather...)
Well, it's because it was the first ever time I ever modified and played around with the camera on my phone since it's new. I took plenty of photos before, but that was all for school so the camera quality was kinda crap.
I felt really satisfied with how the photos turned out since literally the only reason I wanted this phone was for the camera quality XDDD
Yeah, it's really wide... That's because:
1.) My phone is 6.5 inches in length, and the camera option allows me to switch from a certain 'ratio' to fullscreen.
2.) I enabled 'Wide Shot' on my phone so it captured the nature on the borders.
There are really fascinating results when these two are combined actually...
Here's when the story of this picture is set, if you are gonna get bored, skip to the next bold!
On the way to this particular sight, it was literally a headache since we travelled by car; road trips and I don't exactly go hand in hand together -.-
I was sitting in the back of a seven-seater we borrowed, next to the Japanese student, who homestayed with my family for 8 months so we were all very close.
Currently, she can only come to our country until this Wednesday since she's in University in Japan; she still has classes even on Christmas (she showed us her schedule and it looked h o r r i f y i n g)
So we were only going to this waterfall since none of us has ever been to this particular waterfall.
In the middle you see my first cousin lazing around with my sister; actually, every one of us was sleeping for the duration. Then at the front our parents. With Dad driving.
When we were there, I was relieved to say I don't regret wearing my UnderArmour Jacket (this claim came back to bite me in the ass later on); despite the hot weather, it was very chilly in the shade and there were gusts of wind.
Tl;Dr of the treck to the waterfall and back (because my brain stopped processing at this point so XDDD);
Stairs were everywhere, it was tiring as hell as running up the stairs made my body sweaty as hell (told you it was gonna bite me in the ass), resting points were luckily everywhere, and a very fruitful trip for many photos of nature and messing around with the camera :P
Soooo what do you think? Tbh, it's fun messing around with the camera; you don't know what marvelous creations could even surprise the one who created them ;) (I was kinda surprised with this trip)
Btw here's another wide nature shot of the waterfall:
Same waterfall, but with an anime filter XDDD
Side notes for these photos:
- My family, friend and I were standing on a bridge, so there were many people who were also taking the same photo and it was a little difficult to get the right angle;;;;
- I took this photo through the bridge bars, so the paranoia of dropping my phone was real XDDD
- I was the crazy photographer in my family, aka going in weird positions to take photos of things that are aesthetically pleasing, so you could imagine how insane I looked in their vision at the back XDDD
Welp, this is quite a bit for a first art Dump... I should do this more often...
Actually, tell me what you think.
I was taught that it's important to put your work out there to gain more confidence over getting criticism and feedback over your work, so I'm doing this now in case I should showcase any portfolios or something ^^;;;
Hope you all gained a little bit of entertainment from my little rant,
Thanks for reading~!
