Chapter 25 : Scattering And Battle. Valtryek.

Christina had just fired a bolt of lightning from her scepter at Free. He took his knife and extended the blade to intercept the energy and send it back to where it came from. Chris simply created a protective dome for a few seconds. Our four friends and Suoh were in trouble. It was Chris who was the problem, she was the one who had the upper hand on everyone else.

Roy Guten stayed behind. He still had the idea in his head that it was wrong to kill the monster and the prince. Killing two people who love each other is not fair to them. But he knew that the witch, her daughter and her royal college, want it.

Valt, who was near the window, watched the fight between Fafnir and Spryzen. Spriggan was having trouble beating the golden dragon. He was attacking it with his axe, but Fafnir's wounds healed automatically, unlike the one inflicted on the red monster. He thought that Shu's spirit needed help. He took a bey out of his pocket but it did not glow, it had no energy. He closed his eyes and squeezed it. I have to help Spryzen, Valt thought. He ran downstairs, leaving his friends alone to face the other group. Suoh saw him and wondered what he was doing.

Luinor continued to destroy everything and the bursts of his blows reached them more and more. Lui's father attacked his son and his son defended himself by stopping him. They were both on the verge of an abyss. This means, Luinor has rafted the wall next to them and so, the big room below is open right next to it. There were flames and if they fell, it would be very dangerous, because the blue flames could kill them.

Lui felt his feet go backwards and his body go towards the huge hole. Free opened his eyes wide because he knew what was going to happen. He ran towards them and pushed Lui's father away from them. The white dragon felt his body fall because of the stones that didn't fit under his feet. He fell but barely managed to catch himself on the edge. Free bent down and gave him his hand to help him up.

The Roy saw them and ran towards them with his sword in hand. Shu saw him and stepped in, pushing him towards the abyss. The Roy fell but managed to hang on holding one of his son's legs. Lui looked down and saw his father trying to climb back up.

Suoh slowly put his hand over his mouth. Shu winced, "Damn..."

Free continued to hold on even though the weight had just increased a lot. "Free, let go of me!" shouted Lui.

"No! I'm not going to let you die like that!"

"I won't die!"

"Still no!"

"Fine." said Lui, closing his eyes a little and sighing, "Then I'll let go of you."

"Wait, what?" asked Free confused.

Lui let go of his hand and let himself fall.

"Lui!"

Lui landed on his feet downstairs with his father, who fell, in heavyweight mode. The Roy stood up and picked up his sword, he went straight to his son. He simply looked at him and clenched his blade in his hand.

Free looked at everything from above with the others.

"We're three against three." said Shu. "Free, take care of Christina."

Free nodded and watched as the blade of his dagger grew even longer and more serrated. He ran to Christina and dragged her away from the group.

Lui was alone with his father, and now Free was alone with Christina.

Suoh went to Shu's side. "Well, the weight of the opponents has become lighter, it should be better."

Shu looked at him. "I guess."

Shasa attacked them and Suoh dodged by taking a sword from the ground. Luckily there were plenty of knight statues and they had metal swords as trim.

Shu looked at Roy Guten waiting to see if he would do something. He raised an eyebrow, "So, majesty. What do you plan to do?"

"What do you advise me to do?" the Roy asked, staring deeply at him.

Shu shrugged, "You may not fight and you will be spared and can return home but...Your daughter, unfortunately, will not be so lucky. She meddled in my friends' relationship, and she still wants to break the bond between the two of them. I won't let her go like that."

Roy pondered, "So be it. I'll stay away from this fight and not stop you from doing what you want."

Shu nodded, still with a warning. He was still wary of Roy Guten.

ON VALT'S SIDE

Valt had arrived outside, at the foot of the castle. He watched Spryzen and Fafnir fight. Spryzen was on the ground and Fafnir was on top of him. The golden dragon had his mouth wide open.

"No, no, no..." thought Valt, "I have to stop Fafnir." He looked at his bey. "I have to wake her up...But how? I never could..." He closed his eyes as he held her tightly. "I can't give up, I can't." He opened his eyes and stared at the bey. "Partner, please, I need you now. This is an urgent moment I have here and you are our last chance to stop Fafnir."

The bey began to glow slightly. "Valt."

Valt opened his eyes wide and smiled, "Valtryek, are you ready to fight?!"

The bey glowed brighter.

Valt looked around them and found an inferno with a blue flame of Luinor still there. The fire of the celestial dragons were sources of magic. He threw it in and the creature appeared. A knight on a horse.

"I'm counting on you!" said Valt.

Valtryek nodded and the horse ran toward the dragon who was preparing his fire to throw at Spryzen.

Valt shouted, "Attack!!!"

Valtryek thrust his sword into the golden dragon. The dragon roared and backed away. Valkyrie stood before Spriggan.

"Thank you," said Spryzen.

"I see this dragon is still dangerous and powerful," said Valtryek.

"Yes, but it's a shame he doesn't use his power well."

Fafnir roared at his two opponents. He opened his mouth a little with his fire coming out. "You are weak, that's why you can't fight alone. If you were strong enough, you would know how to challenge me and we could have a real battle. But no, you and your masters don't have enough potential."

"I forbid you to speak of them in this way." said Valtryek as he ran towards him with his sword.

Fafnir was about to throw his fire at him but something stopped him. He felt someone and flew towards the castle.

"What is he doing?" asked Valtryek.

"Maybe his partner called him," said Spryzen.

Valt also watched as the celestial dragon flew toward the fortress.

FREE AND CHRISTINA'S SIDE

Free had just called Fafnir telepathically. He intended to wait for his friend to finish off Christina. The dragon's fire could match Christina's magic. To him, his knife could only defend him or deflect attacks. He knew he could attack his former friend, but it was a risk to get too close to her. His attacks would be stronger since he would be close to her.

Free continued to dodge and heard the roar of his friend. He smiled. Christina looked out and saw nothing. Suddenly they heard nothing. Then a claw hit the frame. Then they heard a growl. The head of the golden dragon showed itself and it opened its mouth wide.

Christina prepared her magic with her scepter and threw lightning bolts at it. Fafnir spat out his fire and the two magic points clashed. Free hid his eyes a little because there were so many sparks.

Chris also closed his eyes a little. Fafnir, on the other hand, did not lose any strength and continued to throw his flames as he walked towards the witch. At one point, Fafnir's flames reached the witch and she was burned. Free looked at the "show".

He sighed, "Finally." Fafnir then looked at him and moved his head closer to him. The blond man stroked it. "Thank you."

Fafnir nodded, "The flames consuming everything and the screams of pain. My predictions are always right. Now you should go help that human you love so much."

Free nodded and ran. Fafnir, on the other hand, looked further at Luinor. He went over to him. Longinus looked at him, "So Valtryek and Spriggan have awakened." Blue fire appeared in his mouth. "Shouldn't you go near them and fight them?"

Fafnir gave a small growl, "What good would that do?"

"Are you afraid?" asked Luinor, growling at him, "I didn't expect that from you, for a being such as you."

"You don't know me. Fighting them would do no good."

"Destroy everything, that's what we must do. No human should escape us."

"I will, when our masters have finished what they are doing. We will see, if your master of yours, will still have the same intention and still have his poisonous heart."

"My master just wants revenge. He knows what he's doing."

"I don't know about that." Fafnir left and flew down to the city.

Luinor looked at him and then looked toward where he sensed his master. He felt that he needed him. He went towards him, destroying everything in his path.

ON LUI'S SIDE

Lui was fighting his father who was not making it easy for him. At the same time, the man was putting all his anger in his blows, and all that he always wanted to do to him but never could, since the people would have seen him badly if he killed his son, the heir. But now he doesn't care, the people are dead and if he survives, there will always be the excuse that the monster killed his son and he was the only one left.

The white dragon was getting out of breath. He put his hand on his chest and felt his heartbeat. It was fast, he had this feeling that his heart was going to explode. He didn't know how long this fight would last. His father, at first glance, was in the same state as him, but he knew that his father's will to kill him was very strong. But he too, it was his love for Free that pushed him to give everything. He could not lose this fight, he had to do everything to stay alive. He thought about Free all the time.

He looked at his hands. There was blood and they were starting to get worn. Lui and his father were both injured from the blows. He looked at his father who still had that look, so intense and so cold. He knew he was starting to be like him. The madness, not knowing how to think and having mood swings all of a sudden.

His mind still knew how to think, he had to not fall, not in that way. He had to control himself and not let himself be affected by others so much.

While he was in his thoughts, his father ran towards him to kill him. When he saw and reacted, the sword was coming towards him, close...

Seemingly unstoppable...

He gasped and felt the sword pierce him...

Blood...It was flowing...

Death...was coming...

His eyes closed...

And his body fell to the ground...

Free arrived and saw the body of his boyfriend on the ground. He was horrified. He looked at the smiling Roy. He felt this power of anger towards his boyfriend's father. His breathing was rapid. He wasn't going to hold back his blows.

His eyes became more and more golden. He looked like this time, well...

Like a demon...
