Chapter 22 :The Reappearance of the Celestial Dragons.

Most of the revelers were all happy, filled with happiness, and laughing loudly.ml He had no idea about the famous "surprise," and even when they found out, they would be even more cheerful. Lui was still sitting there, doing nothing but listening to the conversations. His mind was tense, and when he could, he would plunge the knife right into his father's heart. It's ironic that he has no heart. He has no mercy, he only wants to serve his personal pleasure.

Valt and Shu were in a corner. Shu left for a moment to go and see something, Valt already knew what it was. He left her, and continued to look at Lui. His cold expression did not attract him, on the contrary, he had never seen him so angry. He had a drop of sweat. He wanted to end this situation immediately.

Time passed, slowly, and painfully for our boys. It was hard, they couldn't stand still. And then, the event finally happened. Guards drew everyone's attention with those royal instruments. (Kind of trumpets).

All eyes were fixed on a gathering of guards and Christina, encircling Free. Chris herself had bewitched the chains so that Free could not escape, she was the one deciding the fate of her old friend.

"And now!" said the Roy as he stood up and spoke in front of hundreds, if not thousands, of people paying attention to him. "I am going to kill the monster of the dark forest! The one everyone talks about, the one, feared by every mortal! You will see, tonight, me, who will kill him!"

Shu had arrived near Valt. He nodded to him that he had done the right thing. Valt nodded his head that he had received Shu's message.

Lui, who was standing next to his father in the middle of the speech, looked towards Free. An aura began to surround him.

The "monster" was taken near the fire, the center of everyone's attention. The Roy walked around the table to the prisoner. He smiled wickedly at him. "I will kill you, immortal creature, and I will show that a monster is not invincible."

"That's obvious." said Free wryly, "Everyone has weak points, it's not impressive to see for your rank, Roy."

Everyone listened to him and the young ones, the kids, didn't think a monster had a physical appearance like that. They had imagined something more monstrous, for some, hairier, bigger, more aggressive. They doubted if it was the real monster, they doubted the Roy. Some thought that the Roy was simply executing an innocent, making it look like the unfortunate monster of the forbidden lands.

"Always this grotesque behavior, but it will end." He turned to the witch and she walked over to the Roy. She knelt down giving a pure blade of sharpened metal. She knew that this blade would pierce Free and kill him. This material would not allow his body to recover. The Roy took the weapon and turned to the demon. The latter remained impassive since he knew what was going to happen. "Goodbye," he said, smiling.

"No!" shouted Lui, drawing everyone's attention. Shasa was not in a good mood.

"Yes, let your father finish him off!" She shouted at Lui.

"No, I'll kill him!"

Everyone gasped.

"Hm?" The Roy wondered what his son was doing, and then the memory of his relationship with the monster came to him. He smiled, "I know what you're planning to do, and I don't agree."

"And why wouldn't I?" Lui knew he just had to convince the people so his father would have no choice but to agree. "The future Roy should already do a good deed every chance he gets. You caught the monster, it's up to me to do my part and finish him off." He approached the center, under the watchful eyes of everyone. He stood between Free and his father. He raised his arms to the assembly. "Don't you agree?! All of you here present! The prince of the kingdom of ice, should he end it!?" The people shouted to say yes. They were cheering, encouraging him. Chris and the Roy were not confident. "Then I'll do it! But for that, you have to trust me!" The people only wanted to kill the monster, they didn't care who did it. Lui bowed his head. "Fine." He threw the pure metal blade away. Everyone wondered what he was doing. He took something from his pocket and looked.

He looked at Free who was smiling tenderly at him. "Go ahead," he said simply.

He closed his eyes and the blue and purple aura reappeared. Christina knew what was in the bey. She shouted, "No!" The object glowed and Lui threw it into the fire. "Huh?" Chris didn't know why He had done this, for her, it would serve to kill the spirit inside, but...She was wrong...

The spirit of Luinor, a dragon with fire on it, and spitting it out. A loud roar came from the flames and they turned blue. The gigantic fire, which illuminated everything with orange and warm color, became cold with blue. Wings came out on two sides, a tail from behind and a fierce jaw in front. The dragon appeared after making another roar and the great fire was gone, replaced by the creature.

All the inhabitants screamed in fear and ran in all directions. Lui took his knife and undid the chains. He looked at Free who hugged him. Lui answered him directly. Free said, "Everything will be better now. The blond man smiled at him, "We just have to get rid of Chris and your father. He nodded. The dragon roared and set everything on fire. "Hm?" He watched as the dragon spat its fire on homes, and people. "Lui, you should stop Luinor, we had the distraction, we need to stop now."

"No." Lui simply said, lowering his head. Free raised an eyebrow. "We have to kill them all."

"What?" asked Free confused. "They're your people anyway."

The white dragon with the flames as a crest, flew into every corner. It went straight to the big gates, where everyone was heading, and set the entrance on fire. The people shouted and scattered. Luinor spat his fearsome blue fire on the entire wall that bounded the capital.

"Lui! You have to stop this!" said Free, taking him by the shoulders.

Lui pushed him away, "No! They'll just pay!"

"Lui..." said Free simply. He looked at Valt and Shu coming up. "Where's the Roy and Chris?"

"They went to take refuge in the castle," said Valt.

"It's dark and gloomy." said Shu, "It's a trap. We'll go there and they'll kill us in the shadows."

"But we have to go!" said Valt, "We can't let them get away with it!"

"I'll go." said Lui as he walked toward the fortress.

"Is that...-" began Free.

"Yes, he is strange." said Shu.

"We have to support him so he doesn't do anything." said Valt.

Free nodded and picked up his knife. It glowed and Free uttered a summons. A portal opened and Fafnir appeared. He roared loudly, yellow fire coming out of his open mouth. "Fafnir, I want you to stop Luinor. I don't want him to destroy everything!"

"Master, you know that all of its inhabitants don't stand a chance, see the obvious." said Fafnir.

"Maybe, but try to stop him anyway."

"I told you, Free." said Fafnir, staring him straight in the eye. "The future did happen. The flames devouring everything and the cries of pain from its people. But, something else you'll discover there." He pointed with his arm with a huge claw at the end, scaled, to the castle of Ice. "That is where everything will be played out, that is where your fate may be known. You must find the child and stop him from doing anything."

"He's already doing it I feel like..." said Free.

"Because, you weren't with him." said Fafnir. Free took a good look at him. "Yes, he was alone, he has been so used to you and your calmness, that without you, he doesn't know how to make the right decisions. What he wants is for the fire to destroy everything and for blood to flow from the dead bodies of the people. He wants revenge for the pain they all caused him and...for what they did to you."

"They didn't do much to me either."

"Yes, but to this human, you are very important. If you find him, I'm sure you'll be able to convince him not to continue down this path. He chose you and you chose him. You can't just abandon him. You have to stay to the end, true to your partner."

"I get it, I'll help him." said Free, "But please go stop Luinor!"

Fafnir watched as the white dragon destroyed everything and children fell into the flames with their families. He knew that beating it wasn't going to be easy but he would at least try to delay it.

He flew towards the other heavenly dragon to stop it. He stood in front of him.

"Stop it, Luinor." said Fafnir.

Luinor stopped spitting his fire and looked at him. "But who do I see? Fafnir, the ghost dragon, well, I don't think you've come to accompany me into the chaos."

"You know what I'm going to do, so get ready."

Luinor stared at him dangerously and growled. "I'm going to destroy everything and you're not going to stop me."

Fafnir and Luinor stared into each other's eyes and fought.

ON THE OTHER SIDE

Free, Valt and Shu ran to catch up with Lui, even though he had disappeared from their sight. Shu and Valt went together, while Free went his own way. He felt that his knife was connected to Lui, that's how he intends to find Lui. The two blades are connected to each other, and He must have his on him.

On either side, something was going to happen, whether it was good or bad.
