Chapter 20 : The Arrival + Plan.

Two days later, some very special guests arrived on the territory of the Kingdom of Glace. Guards and soldiers greeted them and the King arrived near them.

"Greetings, Lord Guten." said the King with a false smile. "I am honored to welcome you to my kingdom." All his royal words may be pleasant to guests, but the Ice King was disgusted by them.

"Soon it will be mine too. And mine will be yours too." said the Roy Guten. He looked behind him and looked at his daughter. He then turned to his royal college. "May I introduce my daughter?" He motioned for her to come forward.

The girl bowed to the Roy, "Hello Roy Shirosagi, I am the princess of the kingdom of Marine. My name is Shasa Guten."

"But what a well-behaved girl." said the Roy, "That is the opposite of my son..."

"I'm sure he's well-bred. " said Lord Guten, "He must just take his role as prince too seriously."

"Yeah, probably." said the Roy, rolling his eyes. "Follow me, I'll take you to my home, you'll meet my son. He looks like your daughter, you know?"

They began to walk. Roy Guten spoke. "Our two kingdoms have always been very similar, my friend. It is only natural that our two children look alike. "

The Roy said nothing and continued walking towards the palace. They entered the castle and saw a group of young people, well, there were only two of them.

"My son, come and welcome the guests."

Lui was talking with Valt and turned around when his father called him. "What do you want?" he asked coldly.

"Lord Guten, and his daughter, have just arrived in the kingdom. You could at least greet them."

Lui growled, "No, I have something else to do." He turned back to Valt, "Where is he?"

Valt whispered something into his ear, though no one managed to hear. He then put his hand on his blue companion's shoulder. "We're waiting for you you know where."

Lui nodded, turned, and then walked over to the guests.

"I present my son," said the Roy. "Introduce yourself."

"My name is Lui Shirosagi and I'm the Prince of Glace, is that okay?" said Lui bitterly, raising an eyebrow.

"No, that was not polite." growled his father. Lui glared at him and the two of them mitred.

"Oh, my friend." said Lord Guten, "Let him live as he pleases after all. His character is not random." he said as he looked at the other roy.

Shasa walked up to Lui and held out her hand. "Hi, I'm the-"

"Princess Guten who is destined to marry me, I know." said Lui rolling his eyes. He didn't really care.

"Oh, well, wouldn't you like to spend some time with me?"

Lui turned and started to leave, "No, I have something else more important to do, and it sure as hell isn't talking to a kid like you." After that, he left with quick steps.

Princess Guten stood there with her hand. "Oh..."

"Uh, excuse him, as I told you, he still lacks education." said the Glace King.

"It's nothing, I understand. I guess when he gets to know my daughter better, he'll change his skills." said the Roy, remembering all the people his daughter knew how to change her character. Because Shasa was taking everyone's character in stride, even if they wouldn't say so.

"Let's hope so. I mean, if he doesn't change, I don't care."

ON LUI'S SIDE

He looked to see if anyone was following him and went down into the dungeons. "Pssss!" said Valt to him.

He joined him and found Shu standing against the wall near Free's cell. "How long have you been here?" asked Lui. The four of them were in the same place, except for Free who was tied up in the cell. Lui raised an eyebrow. "So when do I get my answer?"

"I've been here in the city since you arrived, the same time you did. Valt asked me to leave for a while so no one would know I was here, so I could help out in the shadows." said Shu, crossing his arms.

"We need to find a way to get Free out." said Lui. "How do we do that?"

"Only Christina can free him." said Valt. "But we're sure we won't get his permission, but..." Lui looked at him. "Your knife can."

Lui pulled it out and looked at the glinting blade. He went to open the cell when a sound called out to him.

"Lui!" shouted Shasa as he came down the gloomy stairs. "You're here...?"

Lui withdrew the knife and looked at Shu and Valt. Shu turned into a bat and went to hide high up. Valt sat down on a barrel next to it as if nothing had happened and the white dragon put the knife away in his pocket. The girl's shadow arrived and finally herself.

"Lui, what are you doing?" the girl asked, tilting her head.

Lui growled, "Nothing you're interested in."

"We'll be engaged soon, you could at least treat me better than that."

"I don't love you!" shouted Lui. "I never accepted this contract to reunite two kingdoms! I don't care about the title! Just leave me alone!"

The girl shifted her gaze, "Look, you're going to be my husband, so you better not contradict me." She walked towards him while he simply stayed in the same spot, unmoving. She was more than a few inches away. "You're going to have to respect me too no, you're going to regret it."

Lui narrowed his gaze, "I will never love you. I already love someone else."

"And who? I wonder, especially since you and your family are known for being cold to everyone."

"That's none of your business!" shouted Lui in her face. "I won't marry a kid like that!"

Shasa growled, "I thought I'd finally found the one." She slapped him, "You're just like all his others!"

Lui looked at her darkly after the slap. Valt watched the scene looking at Him then Shasa, then Him, then Shasa. "Did you just slap me?! How dare you?!"

"You better leave whoever you love! You will stay with me all the time and I will watch you!"

"You're going to stick me!? You're really crazy! "

"I'm not leaving this place without you!"

Valt sighed. They might have to find another way besides Lui's blade. He won't be able to be quiet and Free won't be handling his tied up. So magic blades are not the answer. We must find another way but what? He saw how Lui grunted and left the place. Shasa looked at him and left.

When the two rookies came back up, Shu came down, "We need something else."

"We need to find Kris and get her to agree to release Free," Valt said.

"Do you really think she'll want to? No." said Shu. He thought for a few moments and then an idea came to him. He turned to face Valt. "What if we kill her and burn her staff, what would that do?"

Walt shrugged, "No idea."

"It will make the magic in the chains disappear," Free said.It was a plan, but we had to get rid of Christina then. "But how do we kill her?"

"We won't do it on our own," said Shu, "We need to get organized with Him."

"I'll point out that Shasa is going to stay with him 24/7." said Valt, "Unless I could take a few minutes without Shasa and explain it to her."

"Yes, let's do that."

"Wait, you're planning to do that right now?" asked Free.

Valt and Shu nodded their heads.

"Okay."

"But before I go to Lui, I'll go see if they have any news," said Valt, "you never know if they're planning something bad."

"You're right. They could be up to no good." said the vampire.

Valt nodded and left.

"I wonder what will happen next." said Free, "Fafnir was right. The future is very bad."

"I have a feeling something else will happen."

"Hm?" Free looked at him.

"If we get rid of Chris, that's fine, you'll be released. But when they find out you're out of the cell..."

"I know what you mean. Anything could happen. They will try to shoot me and if Lui wants to protect me and he gets killed, and what am I going to do?"

"We shouldn't think negatively. We'll get through this."

FROM VALT'S SIDE

He arrived at the throne room where the King was talking to the Guten family. Lui and Shasa were present as well.

The King told them that he had a surprise planned for the end of the feast, "I have a great surprise planned for tonight, my dears. At the end of the banquet, I will show you and execute the monster that everyone has always feared."

"Really, my friend, you finally got it?" asked the very surprised Roy Guten. He had heard so many rumors, but I heard that everyone got killed when they met his path.

"Yes, I managed to capture him, thanks to my son." said the Roy, smiling defiantly.

Lui grunted, it was his fault, in a way. He had let them capture Free.

"Really Lui, you are very brave to have captured this horrible creature. You are a hero." said Shasa, grabbing his arm.

A vein in Lui's neck bulged, he looked at her with a dark look. He took his arm again, "Don't touch me!"

Shasa glared at him.

Valt came up beside them, "My lord, are you sure? Isn't it better to wait until the guests have left?"

"Who are you?" asked Shasa..

"Oh, I remember you." said Roy Guten. "Aren't you the best to friend Lui and a close friend of my royal family?"

"Yes, that's me. My name is Valt Aoi, nice to meet u."

"Already more polite than the prince. It's quite strange that you didn't pass on all that good skill to him." said Shasa's father.

"You know, sir. Lui's not rude. Only that you have to know how to talk to him hehe." He looked at Lui's father, "But back to the topic. I think it's better to wait because the guests might be in danger. Imagine if the monster escaped."

"He won't." said the Roy, "He has no allies and we'll keep an eye on my son."

Lui grimaced.

"I understand, sir." said Valt. He looked at Lui, "I need to talk to you."

Lui walked towards him and Valt took him by the arm and led him to another location.

"Ah, what is this?" said Shasa, "He accepts contact with this boy and not with me!"

"They have been very close since they were very young." said the Roy, "That's why. Miss Guten, if you want him to be close to you, you should stick it to him well."

"Are you sure?" asked Shasa.

"Of course." The Roy smiled falsely. He knew full well that his son would get mad at her but it didn't matter. If this girl could keep an eye on her son and prevent him from releasing the monster, that was all that mattered. "You should follow them."

Shasa nodded and ran towards the direction the two boys were heading. She arrived and hid behind a wall, listening.

"What's going on, Valt?" asked Lui, "Did you come up with a plan?"

"No, that's just it. We need you to kill Christina, the witch."

"How will this change?" asked Lui, raising an eyebrow.

"The magic in the chains will disappear completely."

"Are you sure about that?"

"Free confirmed it."

"Very well. I already have a plan. It's time for my friend to go out and blow off some steam."

Valt wondered who this friend was and then a light bulb went off in his head. "Oh, I see. I think we could after release Free's friend too."

Lui smiled, "That will be a nice show. And I hope Free is released soon."

"Do you want me to have them warned or do you do it yourself."

Lui sniffed, "You go ahead. I have a pot of glue following me around."

"She didn't follow us here, did she? Reassure me." said Valt.

Lui looked around, "I don't know but go tell them that when they want me to, I'll kill Christina with my friend."

"All right. We'll need to know where and when Christina will be."

"She'll show up when Free is executed."

"I'll keep my fingers crossed." said Valt, gesturing and friending as if he were praying.

Lui put his hands over Valt's, "We all do. And now go join them and inform them." He took his hands back and walked away. "I'll see you later at the party, I guess."

Valt nodded and took off running. Lui joined the throne room. Shasa, who had been listening to everything, ran so that Lui wouldn't see her, even though he already suspected it.
