I was casually sipping my Java chocolate-chips frappe, reading pride and prejudice for the n-th time sitting in my favorite cafe, like every other day for a month now, and I hate it is for the last time.

But today was differently special as I met him, the man, I'll remember till my last breath.

"Ahemmm" he cleared his throat standing upon me, breaking my thoughts from Darcy and Elizabeth.

"Is this taken?" He said pointing towards the seat opposite mine. I could just nod my head being totally captivated by his ocean blue eyes.

Taking the seat he took a sip from his drink, clearing his throat once again.

Tell me about awkward.

"This was the only empty seat." He said roaming his eyes everywhere lastly stopping at my now less bemused face, finally meeting my hazel eyes.

Roaming my eyes around myself, I looked at him nodding again in understanding, going back to my previous task ~ reading.

"Java chip?" He asked again. Rolling my eyes I nodded a no, making him confused.

"Java chocolate chip!" I exclaimed slightly annoyed, finally using words to reply. I don't understand why people can't say the drinks name correctly. Chocolate is must and an important element, duh.

"Yeah same." He said softly chuckling, holding his drink in front of me. "My favorite." He completed after taking a sip, with a mocking smile.

"Trevor." He said after a minute, this time smiling genuinely.

Oh he can be sweet.

"Thea."

"I know." He said, smirking, eyeing my frappe cup with my name on.

Thought so soon.

"Thea Marissa Cooper."

"What?" I shouted totally shocked, grabbing all the attention.

Wrong move.

"Will you marry me?" He said ignoring me, holding a solitaire sapphire ring in front of me.

"I don't even fucking know you." I said grabbing and packing my stuff hastily. He is scaring me now. Stumbling a little I moved out without even looking back.

How can someone randomly come and propose me? This is not correct. This is not the correct time.

"Stop. You can't run away from everything." He shouted, making me freeze at my spot.

How does he even know?

"I know, I know everything." He said huskily answering my unasked question vaguely, grabbing my waist from behind nuzzling into my caramel hair, too close for our own good.

"How?" I asked again stiffing under his touches.

Without replying he turned me, grabbing me more tightly, cupping my left cheek.

"Marry me?"

"I'm dying." I replied finally telling him, dissolving under his touches. "No. You are gonna be fine. And we will be together forever." He said stubbornly, moving closer capturing my soft lips in his hard one.

Closing my eyes I savored the moment thinking about how this all can be a mere dream, and I'm gonna wake up from it only to lose my consciousness for forever.

I don't have much time, I'm slowly dying from inside. I feel no pain, This is what a tumor does to you. But how can I make him understand that.

"I love you and we'll be together." He said lowly finally breaking the kiss. There is no way we can be together. I'm going far-away, from the world and from him.

"From the time I saw you, I'm head over heels for you. Thea, you are the one I want, even after knowing every damn thing. I know what you are going through and I want to be there for you, sharing everything. So, Do you, Thea Cooper would like to marry me, Trevor Smith? " He confessed, wiping my tears-I don't even know falling, from the soft pad of his thumb-shocking me in the last.

"I do."

I said closing my eyes falling into darkness but in his arms.
