*Alright so after that fight that I still maintain was just a dream and me hiding under my sheets for 3 days because of that demon chizome has had enough.*

Chizome: Alright, brat, get out of there; we have to train.

Izuku: No way!

*I screamed, terror still clear in voice as the image of yujiro smiling still scaring him to death. Chizome growled*

Chizome: I wasn't asking.

*Chizome said his tone showing he was 110% done. Chizome kicked me out of bed and I groaned loudly in pain*

Izuku: What the...?

*I tried to say but I dodged a punch to the face, but the fist grazed me. I looked at him as if he was crazy, chizome just clicked his tongue*

Chizome: just Like I thought, you are getting slower, you have three more matches before the finals. You think you're gonna get out of here by pissing in your bed? You're quirkless, you don't have OFA anymore, you need to train now.

*I wanted to tell him to leave me be. But he was right, so with a sigh I got up the floor and rub the back of my neck*

Izuku: Fine...

*Before i could continue The gates opened unexpectedly, and the duo saw the guard*

Chizome:What is this? Does Izuku have a visitor?

Guard: someone wants to talk to Izuku, let's go

*The guard said with a lack of emotion.  chizome and me looked at each other and then back at the guard*

Chizome: can we know who it is?

*The guards just rolled their eyes and hit a button; instantly, chizome was on the ground, screaming in pain from the chip they had implanted into his body. If he disagreed or started acting up, it would happen again. Izuku had the same chip in his neck*

Izuku:chizo!!

*I went to chizo or tried to, since the guard grabbed me hard by my burnt arms, making me scream. Despite this, I still tried to fight; it was futile, though, as two more guards came and dragged me away. I don't remember how long I tried, but we kept going deeper and deeper into the prison until I could no longer see the sun. They eventually opened a massive door and threw me inside. I got up just as they closed the door behind me, and I slammed my hand against it repeatedly.*

???: my oh my, you need to calm down, young Midoriya. That door won't open until I say so.

*I froze; I knew that voice - it was the voice that had haunted me in my nightmares since my enrollment at U.A. I turned around and saw him.*

AFO: Come on Midoriya, sit down.

*I started chuckling, accepting my fate; I was certain this was my end. So what the hell I'll amuse him*

Izuku:Alright...Sensei told me I would get attention if I entered, so I knew it would only be a matter of time before one of you cockroaches came for me, so go ahead and get it over with.

AFO: my are the kids today really that dramatic? I'm not gonna kill you Midoriya, you no longer have MY quirk that honor belongs to Mirio

*AFO said with a smug smile that made me frown deeply, I knew that one of the two had it. But the fact that Mirio had what once belonged to me, well it made me furious*

Izuku: tsk...excuse me while I'm surprised that toshinori gave AFO to mini me

AFO: do you want to know something amusing?

*AFO said as he placed his face in his fist, extremely entertained by me just standing there*

Izuku: please enlightens me.

AFO: Mirio Togata is going to die, I gave that quirk to my brother because I thought he was quirkless. He wasn't; it was a mistake on my part, but that mistake cost my brother his life. History says I killed him, but technically, that isn't true. I didn't lay my hands on him. You're a smart boy, Midoriya. Care to take a guess as to why?

*AFO said testing me, I got quiet thinking about it for a minute. But then the solution came to me with my eyes widening a little*

Izuku:Quirks are like water, the human vessel is like a cup. Quirkless, the water fills the cup. But if the vessel has a quirk, the water will overflow and kill the vessel. How long does it take for the water to fill the cup?

AFO: My, how smart Toshinori made a mistake by betraying you, but then again, his mistake is my gain.

*AFO said as he started smiling at me, that same kind of smile nezu always has on. It pisses me off enough to scream at the most dangerous man in prison*

Izuku: I asked a question!

*In retrospect, I probably should have been more serious. I mean, I was literally screaming at a lion. But hey, it was funny to me at the time.*

Afo:oh give or take... he'll be lucky to see 30 but it's funny I wonder if the previous user will allow him to use the quirks in the first place.

Izuku:With my luck, yes. And you're right, I am smart; I know why I'm here, and I am not going to join you.

*I said with my arm crossed, my determination pure, but did that matter to him? No. He just kept on smiling like if I didn't say anything*

AFO: Oh? And why not? Just think about it my boy, everyone has betrayed you - your friends, your family, even that former mentor of yours; you have nothing left. Join me and I can give you everything.

*An aura of blood red light began to emanate from her hand. It was almost hypnotic*

Izuku: all for one....

*I muttered under my breath, I was taking off guard and right into Afo's trap as I got up and started walking towards him.*

Afo:That's right, my boy. I can make you my successor; you're leagues better than Shigaraki with me as your teacher. You and me, we can rule this world together as equals.

* He said but I could barely hear him As I got closer, my heart raced; my eyes were glued to his hands, all that power, all that potential. With my analytical mind, the things I could use it for flooded my thoughts.*

AFO:Get revenge on the friends that destroyed your body. Something I can fix…take revenge on the teachers that sent you here to rot with me by your side. You can make them rot while they see the monster they unleashed. Take revenge on that ex-fiancé of yours and his new partner for picking him over you. For not believing you. For not talking to you while you were in here!

*My hand was just above his; it was so close. My fate was so close to being sealed, to letting my need for revenge to drown me without a chance to breath air again"

Afo: get revenge on your mom for not believing you and never visiting you, she doesn't love you. I'm surprised if she ever did. You being quirkless with my quirk, you won't need that love.

*He said and like Icarus he flew too close to the sun. I stopped and pulled my arm back before I started chuckling, then I went full-on laughing.*

Izuku: For someone so ancient, you sure aren't smart; I figured you out in a few seconds.

*He frowned as he looked at me. I turned around and started walking away to the Door*

Afo: Enlighten me.

Izuku:You may be older than anyone and anything alive right now, but that's your flaw; your arrogance. You think you can see the whole chessboard before you, but you couldn't be more wrong. My mother didn't abandon me; my aunt and uncle didn't abandon me. Sensei Stain didn't abandon me. I still have people who love me. Joining you would destroy that love.

*I said, my own tone becoming arrogant, since I have something he doesn't, love. Afo's frown deepened even further; this was not how he had envisioned this mental battle ending.*

Izuku: But I should also thank you.

AFO:For what?

*AFO asked as izuku turned his head and look at him*

Izuku:Showing you're not the person who dragged me here if you or your organization were responsible, you would have known that I was here; you would have known who betrayed me, and who didn't. You got greedy, and that was your downfall. Now, open the door because I'm not going to join you, and you may be a foe, but I know you won't kill me...not in here, at least.

Afo: What a disappointment. You could have been a villain for the ages; someone I could potentially see as my equal, and you would just throw that away?

*AFO asked I looked up at the ceiling and thought about, get my revenge an lose myself, or endure and keep my humanity alive*

Izuku:I would rather have the love of my mother and family than your powers.

*He said nothing else and opened the door, revealing dead guards and two people waiting for me and Yujiro.*

Chizome;kid are you ok?!

*He ran up to me and looked me over for any injuries. Looking like a scared parent*

Yujiro: You took his cellmate, care  telling me why my guards were under your control?

Afo:Come now warden, I am an immortal being. You didn't really think all this anti-quirk equipment and anti-quirk cell could block off all of my quirks, did you?

*I didn't get to hear more than that since chizome dragged me to our cell, unfortunately. Chizome wouldn't tell me the reason why he did it, but that day wasn't a total loss; I was one step closer to figuring out who wanted me here.*
