chapter 3
Days later
Night time
*We see Tsuyu and Inko talking amongst themselves while Tsuyu helps with making dinner.*
Tsuyu: I'm almost done with the sauce, Missus. Midoriya Kero
*Tsuyu winced a bit when Inko hit her at the top of her head with her wooden spoon, giving her a playful smile.*
Inko:now tsuyu I've told you to call me Miss Midoriya. Please call me Inko or Mom if you like. Miss Midoriya makes me feel so old.
Tsuyu: but you are an old Kero.
I'm in my 50s!
Tsuyu: You're late 50's kero.
*Inko gave a huff, crossing her arms, looking like a little girl that got grounded.*
Inko: You're so mean.
Tsuyu: I'm a very blunt person, miss.
Inko: you're lucky You're so cute, you know that.
*Tsuyu didn't say anything, just gave a soft croak as a response. As the door opened, they looked, and it was Ryuko Tsuchikawa holding wine in one hand and flowers in the other.*
Ryuko: Hello, how are my favorite girls doing?
Tsuyu: Inko is acting like a little kid, and I'm cooking. Kero
Inko: I am not!
*Inko said, blushing as Ryuko smirked, walking towards them. She left the wine on the table, putting the flowers in the vase in the middle of the table as Ryuko walked and hugged her short-stack girlfriend.*
Ryuko: It's fine, Inky. You could act like an entitled child, and I would still love you since you're entitled to the world.
*Inko blushed, looking up at Ryuko as their heads started falling closer to each other for a kiss.*
Tsuyu: Did you just implied that you're a pedophile? Since you said you would love Inko as an entitled child, Kero
Ryuko: A man way to ruin the moment Tsu
Tsuyu: It's what I do best. Kero
*Tsuyu said with an amused smile as she was ignored when Inko went for a bold move, grabbing Ryuko's face and pulling her in to a deep kiss, making Ryuko blush completely off guard while Tsuyu gave a low whistle.*
Tsuyu: The foods are almost ready. Keep a watch on it while I look for something in my room. Kero
*Tsuyu left up the stairs and walked up to her room with a wistful sigh as a smile crept on her face looking at the room. She walked to the drawer when she noticed something threw her window. She looked down and was surprised to see a rather large group of people with masks coming to the house. She couldn't hear it with the window closed, but it looked as if they were chanting.
Tsuyu: The hell, Kero?
*Her eyes widen when they hold up a flag saying "kill the Midoriya." Her pupils dilated, going to the size of a penny with fear when she saw them igniting so many Molotov cocktails.*
Tsuyu;inko!!!
*Tsuyu left running from her room, falling from the stairs. When she reached the couple down, they looked at her shocked and worried, but they didn't have time to react as the window was broken by the force of the cocktails. They looked just in time for the Molotov cocktail to shatter on the wall, starting a fire soon enough, like it started being thrown inside, breaking multiple windows, the fire burning everything—couch, lamps, rugs, curtains, etc.
Ryuko: Everyone is out back now!! I can't use my quirk inside here!
*They nodded as Inko helped Tsuyu up. As the three started running to the back door, that's when it happened. Another Molotov cocktail being thrown threw the broken window, hitting Tsuyu right at the back of the head, making her fall down, screaming in pain as the bottle shattered on impact as if in slow motion the rag on fire started to fall down just as it was about to reach her.
Izuku: Tsuyu, wake up!!!
Real world
*Tsuyu jumped up, screaming, tears immediately falling from her face as she started moving around in a crazy motion, absolutely terrified of having a panic attack. Izuku grabbed hold of her, ignoring the slight pain when Tsuyu scratched his face.
Izuku: Tsuyu, look at me! Look at me!!
*Tsuyu did her attack, stopping slightly but nowhere near enough.*
Izuku:it's alright.... Tsuyu It's all right. please Take a deep breath. Do what I do, okay? Mimic my breathing.
*Tsuyu gripped her fiance's hands and did as she was told. In through her nose, out through her mouth. It was working; the tension in her body began to release, and her head began to clear.
Izuku: Now, can you name three things you can hear?
Tsuyu:I can hear you, I can hear the cicada chirping outside, and I can hear your heart beating.
*Izuku nodded his grip on Tsuyu, becoming a lot softer as he moved one hand to her hair and started to pet it.*
Izuku: Good job, love. Now, can you name three things you see?
Tsuyu: I can see our bed, our vacation picture, and the TV.
Izuku: Good job, TSU. Now name three of your body parts.
Tsuyu:My hands. My feet. And my ears.
*Izuku smiled. He gently let go of his fiance as she continued taking small breaths, finishing to calm down.
Izuku: You did good, Tsu. I am very proud of you. Was it.... Was it the dream again?
*Tsuyu didn't say anything; she just let a wet sob escape her lips as she nodded. Izuku softly kissed her lips, connecting his forehead with her.*
Izuku: I'm going to get you something to drink, ok?
Tsuyu:p.. please, Kero...
*Izuku slowly got up and left the room, making Tsuyu hug herself, rubbing her hands on her arms. She closed her eyes tight as she felt her skin. With surgery and all her creams, her skin was almost fixed, but if you look closely, you can still see them. Her scars are the reason Tsuyu prefers using Sunday dresses or shirts with long sleeves, while Izuku didn't hide his scars since he didn't care. Tsuyu hated seeing them; she hated how they made her feel; she hated how they would ignite that damn memory again, so she made a point to have as few mirrors in her house as possible.
Meanwhile, with Izuku
*He made it down, frowning all the way he hated when Tsuyu got those dreams; it scared him. No, that's not the right word; it absolutely terrified him. How close Tsuyu was to dying if it wasn't for Ryuko coming back for her. When he made it to the first floor of the house, his frown left slightly as he saw someone who should be sleeping.
Izuku: I'm guessing you had a bad dream, honey?
Eri jumped as she turned around and looked at her father.
Eri: Sorry, I was just thirsty, and... what happened to your face?
Izuku: Don't worry about it; it's nothing, and you didn't answer my question.
*Izuku said as he walked to the covers, grabbing 3 cups.*
Izuku: Hand me the milk.
Eri does as she's told as she looks down.
Eri: It was nothing, just a stupid dream. I'm big enough to deal with it.
Izuku:tsuyu also had a bad dream, but I'm helping her deal with it. Honey, being "big enough" doesn't mean you can't ask for help. Never forget that human beings are social creatures; we need each other to survive. Now come on, give me the cookies you and Tsuyu made today. While I pour the milk, you can sleep in our bed.
Eri: No, no, I'm...
Izuku: Going to sleep with two warm bodies that will protect you and make you feel safe? Yes, yes, you will come on.
Zuku grabbed the glasses of milk while Eri sighed and followed her father, trying to hide a small smile behind him. They made it to his room, seeing Tsuyu sitting on the bed waiting for him. Eri didn't notice it, but as always, Izuku did. He noticed how surprised Tsuyu looked with Eri being there. That surprise quickly turned into concern, thinking about what happened.
Izuku: Hey, first of all, here's some milk and cookies, and second, Eri couldn't sleep either, so I thought all three of us could sleep together.
Tsuyu, that's fine, and thank you, Kero.
*Tsuyu took a bite of her cookie before frowning and looking at Izuku with an annoyed look while Izuku had a bit of an amused look. While in the background, Tsuyu sat down in a chair and started dipping her cookies in her milk.
Tsuyu:izuku Why am I eating your god awful grandma cookie? Kero
Izuku: Simple, my love, so you can taste the beauty and superiority of oatmeal raisin over a basic chocolate chip.
*Tsuyu used her tongue to grab one of her chocolate chips and eat it to take the taste of oatmeal off her mouth.*
Tsuyu: It's too late. I'm not having this argument again. Let's just say I win, and chocolate chips are the best kero.
Izuku: Hmm. Fine for tonight. I'll admit that oatmeal and cookies are acquired...
Tsuyu;nope Kero
Izuku:there for the more adult...
Tsuyu, not in your life, Kero
Izuku: Are fine chocolate chips better?
Tsuyu:more amused than happy, but yes, very Kero.
*Izuku chuckled softly as they ate the cookies and drank the milk before going back to bed with Eri in the middle for obvious reasons. She cuddled closer to her father than Tsuyu but didn't move away when Tsuyu put a hand over her.*
Izuku:one final thing
*Izuku turned on the radio, letting soft music play to lull them into sleep. *Izuku kissed both their foreheads before closing his eyes and letting his dreams take him.
Izuku: I love you both.
