chapter 29

Back to Japan

*Breakfast was a calm affair. Izuku made sure to keep the conversation going with Momo and Tsuyu to not fall into a pit of awkwardness. He tried with Kyoka, but she just kept quiet.

Izuku:alright. Now that everyone has finished eating, it's time for the two of you to go to work.

Momo: Sigh, I guess you're right. I mean, Setsuna is probably calmed down enough.

Tsuyu:oh? I think you misunderstood; he wasn't talking about that or your hero work. Kero

Momo:eh?

*Both Tsuyu and Izuku smiles disappeared, giving them a serious, almost angry expression, making Momo flinch. Kyoka was still out of it.

Izuku: You two are going to get the cleaning supplies out of the closet and clean our room from top to bottom. I want it spotless, our bed washed, our blankets and pillows in the washer—every little thing. I want that room to smell like a fucking bed of flowers when you two are done.

Momo:y..yes! Yes, of course!

Kyoka:screw off....

Izuku glanced at Kyoka, who looked depressed. Did Izuku care? *Not really seeing as she made him deaf for a short time*

Izuku:excuse me?

Kyoka: Look, I'm sorry for what I did, but if you think I'm going...

Kyoka: Ah, yes, yes, momo faster~!!

*Momo and Kyoka snapped their heads to Tsuyu, who was showing them the video from last night.*

Izuku: Yeah, we have cámaras in that room. SO! Unless you want that video to be made public, And yes, I would 100% do that since the benefits of emotionally hurting Denki are just so tempting. You will clean the bedroom, or TMZ is going to get this video, am I understood?

Kyoka: Are you sure you want to play that asshole? Because I could just leak where you live.

Izuku:ha! Go right on ahead, but seeing as you had sex in my home, you came uninvited, and you can believe that Uncle Masaru will spin that as a home invasion. How do you think the public would see that, and moreover, how would you think a court of law would see that?

Tsuyu; also the fact that you and Momo are public figures, being heroes, while me and Zuku are private. It's easier to sue you for the leak, while it's next to impossible to sue us since our video is fair use, seeing as it's completely legal to film a hero for civilian protection to make sure they're not fake heroes. Kero

*Tsuyu and Izuku both looked at Kyoka, almost begging them to challenge them. For Kyoka, she looked at them as if they were crazy villains, while Momo was just in the middle of it all.

Scene change hours later

Kyoka:this sucks...

Kyoka said as she scrubbed the floor of the bedroom on her knees.

Momo, you're the one who decided to push them...

Momo grumbled as she placed the freshly washed blankets and pillows on the bed. Oh, I almost forgot. Since Tsuyu didn't like how Kyoka talked to Izuku, she didn't like at all her tone. Guess who now has to wear maid uniforms while they clean?

Momo, look, just be thankful she gave us actual uniforms and not slutty Halloween uniforms. It could be a lot worse.

Kyoka: I swear, if I find one more of their bedroom toys, I'm jumping out that window and making a run for it.

Momo: Come on, so they have a few toys who don't?

Kyoka: Most people don't have a black 12-inch...

Momo:ok! I'm changing this conversation; we're almost done, so help me organize their clothes by color.

Kyoka: Come on, that wasn't part of the deal.

Momo: No, but if I'm doing this, I'm going to do this right now.

Meanwhile downstairs

It was a slow day for the green couple. Izuku gave his workers the day off to cool off, so here he was watching the news while Tsuyu was next to him grading some papers from her class in Africa.

Izuku: How are the kids doing?

Tsuyu: Pretty good except this kid, Inari, got a 64. I'm going to have to contact his parents and maybe set him up with some summer school. Kero

Izuku: Ah, summer school

Tsuyu: You went to summer school? Kero

Izuku: quirkless child My love, the teachers would purposely lower my grades since "a quirkless person can't be smart without a quirk," so yeah, I never had a summer where I didn't have to go.

Tsuyu: Was it that bad?

Izuku: I mean i was part of this program that gave out tablets at the end of summer school, so it was pretty good.

*Tsuyu hummed in response and concentrated back on her laptop. *Izuku looked at the news again and almost had a heart attack.*

Lois: In other news, a shipment of car parts was found at the bottom of the coast line. Under the car parts, the crate was filled with different kinds of guns; sadly, the box doesn't have an address, so we can't find out where it came from. But whoever this belongs to, you are a sick person bringing guns into Japan.

Tsuyu: So, are you going to call the three stooges or let them figure it out themselves? Kero

Izuku: Well, if I don't call them, they'll just buy another grate, but if I do, they'll break in to the police station and steal the crate.

Tsuyu: Don't you need those parts because of the Yakuza that owns the land under the shop? Kero

Izuku: And calling buck it is. The last thing I need is Ryuji on my back over his car.

*Tsuyu hummed as a response and went back to work. Both stayed like that for a while, just doing normal domestic stuff, when they heard Kyoka scream again.*

Kyoka:ANOTHER ONE, WHAT THE FUCK?!!!!

Zuku: We gotta remind Melissa to pick up her rubber toys.

Tsuyu: You know what she'll say, Kero.

Izuku: "I only use them here, so why can't you guys just keep them?" I swear, she's like a child sometimes.

Tsuyu:.

Izuku: I can feel you starting to shut up. I'm not the one who's obsessed with video games.

Tsuyu: Still mad you couldn't beat the tutorial? Kero

Izuku: How about I kick those two out and explore your dungeon for a while?

Tsuyu:. Was the fact that now you're not getting any for a month worth that lame joke, Kero?

Izuku: Oh, totally worth it.

*Tsuyu gave a small huff with an amused expression as she leaned a little closer to Izuku while she worked.*

Meanwhile in Greece

*We see Tamaki washing dishes since Penelope fell asleep and her cold was starting to get better. Nejire walked to the kitchen and looked at him; she was biting her lip on what to say.*

Tamaki: Do me a favor. dry the dishes for me while I wash them.

Nejire: Oh, uh, sure sure.

Nejire walked up next to him and started drying them. She kept looking at the dishes when she took a breath and finally spoke.

Nejire:Tamaki..uh..before you walked in with the soup, Penelope told me something. And, uh, I don't feel right not telling you about it.

Tamaki;oh?

Nejire: She told me that she likes it when she gets sick, because that means you get to spend the whole day with her.

Tamaki:. . .and?

Nejire: What do you mean, and?!

Tamaki: Is that it? Nejire, she's 5; of course, she wants to spend more time with me. She's a little girl who loves her daddy.

Nejire: But don't you think that you should spend more time with her? I mean, didn't your parents barely spend any time with you?

*Tamaki actually stopped cleaning and turned off the water. Everybody gets the feeling when you say the wrong thing. Yeah, Nejire said the wrong thing.

Tamaki: Okay, I know what your saying is: coming from a place of love. But honestly? That's not going to stop me. Where do you get off implying that I don't spend enough time with my daughter?

Tamaki turned around and looked at Nejire with an angry expression.

Tamaki: I spend time with her every day; I don't spend every second of the day with her because I! have to pay the bills around here because I'm a single parent. But you wouldn't know anything about that, would you? Don't even answer because you don't. You have no idea what you're talking about, so I'm going to give you a pass right now, but never, and I mean, ever!!!

*Tamaki slammed his fist on the tile of his kitchen counter, angry that someone with no child experience was questioning his fatherhood skills. Nejire, for her part, flinched when that happened and took a step back, never seeing this side of Tamaki before.

Tamaki: Question my skills as a parent. I know what I'm doing and how to take care of my child, so never ask me anything remotely like this ever again.

Tamaki walked out of the house to take a walk to calm down while Nejire just stood there, her mind still processing what just happened and not fully understanding that sometimes worrying too much can harm people.
