Momo: Oh yes, I'm sure I would just love to know what that quack has to say about what my Libra star chakra line or whatever has in store for me today.

Momo: I think I do, because I can't seem to get it through your head that Madam Quackadoo is nothing but a fake.

Kyoka:So! Madam Quackadoo said that good luck is coming your way, and an old flame is coming back to life!

Momo: Yeah, unless that disgusting piece of shit escapes prison, I don't see that happening.

Kyoka: There's certainly no love lost between you and Todoroki, huh?

Momo:Oh, and why should I? That bastard...!!!...You know what? No, I'm not doing this today. Whenever I talk about...him, I get angered and stressed out, and I so don't need that today. Can you get out? I'm about to take Eri to school.

Kyoka: Fine, fine. Kick me out, why don't you! Later, kid. I'm sure you'll be great. Hell, better than...him.

Momo: Just say his name, Izu....

Kyoka: Gotta go!

*Kyoka walked fast before Momo said "Izuku". Momo sighed. She wasn't the only one who still had trouble dealing with the past. Momo looked at Eri and smiled softly at her.*

Momo: Ready to go?

Eri: Yeah!

*Eri got up and went outside with Momo following to her car. They got on and started driving. We see Momo driving while Eri was in the back seat.*

Momo: So, honey, excited for your first day at UA?

Eri: Yeah, I can't wait! I'm gonna be the next number 1, believe it!

Momo: Hehe, you've been watching too much Naruto, dear.

Eri: There is no such thing as too much Naruto, dattebayo!

*Eri giggled with stars in her eyes as they made it to the gates. Eri got off.*

Momo: Alright, have fun at your first day. Call me if anything happens!

Eri: Mom, come on. I'm Aizawa's favorite niece. He loves me.

*Momo chuckled, knowing the hell that awaits her daughter. Eri got out of the car and started walking inside with Momo looking at her one more time.*

Momo:10 years flow by so fast...

*Momo got sad again, thinking of him.*

Momo "He missed 10 years of her life because of us..."

Momo sighed sadly and drove off to work. Momo Yaoyorozu was a smart woman. She was well-versed in politics, business law (both national and international), business accounting, business management, and business administration. She had passed all of her classes with the highest grades and was one of the top 10 pro heroes. She was a very intelligent woman, but one area of knowledge that was lacking was cars. Momo's knowledge of cars was thus:

"The key went in the ignition, and you drove."

But that said, it was a piece of knowledge she had never seen a use for until today. Her car made an odd noise she'd never heard before when she started it up, but she chalked it up to something inconsequential that she'd probably heard and disregarded a thousand times before. As she pulled onto the highway, the car shuddered slightly, but she once again ignored it, thinking that it was just another part of how the car worked. She was halfway to work when there was a loud 'bang', and her car's bonnet looked like it had been hit with a jackhammer from the inside as smoke wafted up from the freshly formed gaps. The engine died, and the car came to a shuddering halt about a hundred meters down the road. Needless to say, the young woman was, for lack of a better word, panicked. Smoke was still rising out of the engine as Momo got out of her car and attempted to see what was going on. She was just about to open the bonnet when a hand reached out and grabbed her wrist. Momo yelped in shock as she pulled back, surprised to see a man a lot taller than herself looking at her. Momo took an immediate dislike to the man; while he smelled fine, he looked like he hadn't showered in days. All the same, the man gave her a worried look like she was about to commit the most heinous of crimes.

Izuku: Yeah, unless you want to give yourself a nasty burn, you shouldn't touch it.

*Momo looked at him like she didn't believe what he was saying. So, to illustrate her point, the man held up a water bottle and poured a little bit of it onto the bonnet of the car. It sizzled like he was pouring it onto a hot plate.

Momo: Who are you?

*Momo asked hotly, regretting it almost immediately. To his credit, however, the taller man acted like he didn't even care about the outright hostility Momo was showing.*

Izuku: I would be a mechanic. I was a couple of cars behind you when I saw what happened and decided to help. Unless, of course, you have an engineering degree, but seeing the state of your car, I highly doubt that.

*Momo would be insulted if the car didn't make another sound, making her jump a little.*

Momo: Y-yes...yes, your help would be most appreciated. What's your name, if you don't mind me asking?

Izuku: The name's Izuku Midoriya, ma'am.

*Momo froze, and tears immediately fell from her face.*

Momo: Z-zuzu...

*Izuku froze. Only one person ever called him that, and he frowned, looking pissed.*

Izuku: Momo...

Eri's version of that day:

Eri: "I hate you, Dad!!!"

*Eri woke up from her nightmare, holding her hand so as not to start crying loudly, but tears still fell. Eri took a few breaths and hugged herself.*

Eri: You need to be stronger. You need to be Mom's rock. Don't cry...don't cry...please don't cry...

*But her words didn't stop the tears from falling until she jumped a bit, hearing her mother scream. Eri sighed and wiped her tears.*

Eri: "I have to be strong for her..."

*Eri got up and walked to her mother's room. She opened the door slowly. Momo looked and saw her daughter looking at her with concern.*

Momo: O-oh, honey! I-I-I'm sorry. Did I wake you up?

Eri: "...."

*Eri walked up to her mother and hugged her. *

Eri: I miss him too, Mom.

*Momo let the waterworks harder and hugged her daughter for who knows how long.*

Momo: Okay...

*Momo sniffled and cleaned Eri's tears, giving her daughter a loving smile or the best she can do, giving her mood.*

Momo: Okay! Let's get you dressed. Today is a big day for you.

Eri: Y-yeah, my first day at U.A. I'm so excited!

*Momo smiled and kissed Eri's forehead as Eri left for her room.*

Momo: What a big girl...

With Eri

*She made it to her room and closed the door. She started getting ready and froze a bit but then grabbed a pendant.*

Flashback Eri as narrator

*It was a Monday in summer. Dad managed to convince Uncle Aizawa to let him take me out as a reward for controlling my quirk better.*

Eri: Faster, Daddy, faster!

*Mom giggled looking at us. We spent the day at the beach, making sandcastles, eating grilled eel, and all that fun stuff. At the end of the day, Mom was carrying me in her arms as I kept complaining.*

Eri:Mom, I don't want to go back. I want to stay with you and Daddy!

Momo: I know, honey, but you need to stay in with Uncle Zawa.

Eri: But I can control it. I've gotten so much better!

Izuku: How about this, sweetie? You go with Uncle Zawa, and in exchange, I'll give you a present.

Momo: You coddle her too much.

Izuku: What can I say? She's my princess.

*Dad kissed my forehead and gave me a bright smile.*

Momo: Oh, and what am I?

*Dad kissed Mom on the lips for a long while, taking the wind out of her as his blush grew, seeing my shy daddy get bold.*

Izuku: My queen...

Momo: Zuzu....

*Dad blushed and started stammering again, making me giggle.*

Eri: Daddy, Daddy, what's my present?!

Izuku: Hm... let's see, let's see... how about that...

Present

*Eri sighed, giving a sad smile as she grabbed the pendant and put it on.*

Eri: Don't worry, Dad. I'll take good care of Mom. But h-hey, once I find you, everything will be better!

*Eri gave a bright smile, giving herself hope. Even false hope is still hope. Eri was taken out of her mind when she got a notification.*

She looked and jumped a little.

Eri: O-oh, right, my job!

*Eri went to her PC and started to work. You might be wondering what little 14-year-old Eri does. Well, she has a part-time job in the newspaper giving horoscopes. Yes, she is Madam Quackadoo.*

Eri: Let's see, Mom is a Libra. Let's give her a good fortune today! Good luck is coming your way, and an old flame is coming back to life!

*Eri finished writing it and went running to the kitchen to cook before her mother could get her hands on the kitchen, but she was too late.*

Eri: Damn it, not again!

*Eri sighed depressingly as she grabbed the plates and set the table. Momo came and served her food. Eri forced a smile and started eating slowly, and she was glad she did as she had to spit out an eggshell.*

Eri: I miss Dad's cooking so much.

*Eri thought as she saw her mother eat an eggshell without noticing it.*

*Momo jumped as the door slammed open. Then she rolled her eyes as she knew who it was.*

Momo: Alright, Kyo, what did he do this time?

*Momo said casually, resting her head on her hand.*

Kyoka: I am done, I'm telling you. D.O.N.E, done!! Kaminari is such an immature asshole!

Momo: Language, Kyo. My daughter is right here.

Eri: Oh, please, like I haven't heard you say worse things than Aunty Kyo.

Kyoka: Thank you, Momo. I owe you one... So! Eri, ready for your first day?

Eri: Yeah! I'm gonna finish his legacy and save the lives of people who can't fight for themselves!

*Momo grew a sad smile as Kyoka flinched, looking around awkwardly.*

Kyoka: So... Did you read your horoscope?

*Momo snorted as she took another bite of food.*

Momo: You know he's not some curse you can talk about him.

Kyoka: I... Don't know what you're talking about. Anyway, did you read what Madam Quackadoo said about you?

*Momo groaned and rolled her eyes, making Eri hold her tongue to not start laughing.*

*Eri said without looking up from her phone, texting her friends.*

Atsuki: Hey, where are you? We're already here.

Eri: I'm still eating. I'm probably gonna be the last one there.

Atsuki: Alright. Just hurry so I don't have to hear Kouta complain.

Eri: Oh, yes, 'cause I'm sure you just hate that 😏.

Atsuki: ... Duck you and duck your emoji.

Eri: 😏😏😏😏😏😏.

Atsuki: Fuck, I meant duck!

Eri: And you said duck, so what's the problem?

Atsuki: You know what I meant. It's my autocorrect. Just hurry up and get here!

*Eri giggled softly and turned off her phone as she looked at her mother, who finished talking to Aunty Kyoka.*

Momo: "Ready to go?"

Eri: Yeah!

*Eri got up and went outside with Momo following to her car. They got on and started driving. We see Momo driving while Eri was in the back seat.*

Later

*We see Momo driving while Eri was in the back seat.*

Momo: So, honey, excited for your first day at UA?
