Hazels POV

We were all eating at the dinning pavilion. I am so glad that Leo is here I was worried. The thought of him dead, being tortured, or worse on the enemies side. I wouldn't be able to face him in a war or neither could any of the seven. Frank tried to cheer me up over the years when he was gone. We all searched for him and never had any luck. Jason wasn't that strong to sense him in the sky. Egyptian, Norse, Chinese, Japanese, and other deities had territories that you couldn't simply just waltz up to, slap them in the face, and say, "Bitch get the Hades out of the way before I cut you up."

"Leo?" I asked him while looking a little nervous.

He smiled at me and it seemed that he looked at me as if I was his sister. It was a warm comforting smile.

"Yeah Haze?" He teased with his signature Mc. Shizaled smile.

"Do you still hate everyone including me and the seven?" I looked him in the eyes.

He sighed and sat down at his table which was across from mine and he gestured for me to sit down." Hazel..... I wasn't really..... oh gods how do I put this in simple words.... hmmmm.... I didn't leave because of the war well actually small part of me did, but the real reason was everyone. I left because I felt like an outcast,abandoned, left out in the rain, and blah blah blah. The point is I didn't plan on coming back. I only planned on seeing Hades and Nico to deliver his Stygian Iron and Artemis so she could get new recruits. Don't take it the wrong way I don't hate everyone's guts here. I only hate being abandoned and being the seventh wheel never find a place with my brethren."

He hated us. He wanted us to be a fictional story. A mythology just like what the mortals see us till today. Come to think of it we all never payed attention to Nico or Leo. We just did stuff without them and avoided them all the time. I always thought Leo just left us because he was afraid of something or he just really meant it when he said he was going to clear his head.

"So you do hate all of us." I was about to cry now.

"Hazel if you were me which I highly doubt you would last 5 seconds of being me. You wouldn't understand me. You all think you know me. I have deeper secrets than anyone in this Camp in this country. In fact my secrets are so dark and locked up not even the universe knows what they are. Hazel I know it must be hard without Sammy, but face it you feel better now without him don't you? Frank is a nice guy always there when you need, being the guy that takes things seriously, and never lets anyone down. Me. My family heritage. Huh forget it I bet I would be better of as a Demi-Titan no one would recognize me, know me, everyone would hate because of what I truly am, and most importantly why should you trust me. For all I know I could just be a mercenary killing whoever I want for money. Hazel do yourself a favor and stay away from guys like me. Cause in the end they die and no one will remember them for what they did." Leo got up and left to go to his ship.

I was shocked by what he said. Everyone heard it. I mean he wasn't really talking in a hush tone. Nico got up and walked into the shadows. Hedge just looked in Leo's direction without trying to help him. I can't believe he would be this dense. He was right I feel much better with Frank then I was with Sammy. It looks like the Sammy side of Leo just got erased from the history book of his life.

"That was the most messed up pep talk I've ever heard in my life." Ares looked at his sword and he wasn't really polishing it. He actually never wanted to be the god of war. He never wanted to hate Hephestaus or anyone he did it only to have a mask of what he truly loved in life.

All of a sudden we heard a weird cry of pain. We all ran outside to see what happened and what we saw was completely shocking. Leo and his army taking on a whole army of hellhounds. The automatons got scratched and some had their arms tested off, but the scariest/coolest thing was when they put themselves back together. Leo. Oh my gods. Leo used his fire powers and it seemed he unlocked some new moves. His weapon wasn't just a hammer. He had a huge knife made of what looked like silver but I could sense it was made of something else. He had throwing knives, smoke bombs, darts on his vambraces, a bow that looked liked it was made of space with white flecks, and the most coolest weapon of all it was a medium sized sword with a double blade axe in the middle of the sword blade and it was duel wield. He broke it in half and started slicing and hacking everything. The disgusting thing was he sliced off the front legs of a hellhound causing it to face plant then he jumped up and stabbed the beast in the eyes. It's blood started oozing out. Soon some of the monsters started retreating. The automatons went to their original positions repairing themselves and the crew started upgrading, crafting, or fixing the Argo.

Speaking of which the Argo was bigger. Imagine a modern Battle Ship then add 30 or 40 more feet. Not to mention it was also part submarine. It had a hull that was 20 or 30 feet wide and deep. It was black and red with cannons, turrets, ballistas, giant crossbows, and mortars. Ares looked proud of it maybe he upgraded the ship when they met. Who knows?

"It looks like your defenses are useless." A camper stated.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! DEFENSE?! HAHAHAHHA! Oh please you campers can't even get along or take anything seriously. You're defenses are weak. Your fighting techniques are out of date and aren't even anything. All it is just slicing and hacking and hoping you kill the monster or person before they kill you. I can see you all can't even hold a line of defense. At least the Hunters and Amazons can get along fine with each other by putting aside their differences." Leo glared and shouted it hurt a lot, but it was true at the same time.

"Leo why do you hate us? You think we're Titans or Gia." Frank narrowed his eyes and tried hard not to start a fight.

"Frank Genghis Chan Zhang you are a respectful cohort son of Mars. I respect you, but for you to not try and help them perfect their defense is just sad. Their your friends so why not help them?" Leo raised an eyebrow and gestured to the whole camp.

"We have been trying to live normal lives." Frank crossed his arms and slouched.

"Oh normal I'm sorry is wish time? How long does this last because I could be blowing up Mt. Others and killing Titans, Giants, evil people, and just chilling at a beach. Normal sounds like a teacher dragging chalk across the board at school or dragging their nails across a chalk board. It makes me want to cut my ears off and then kill myself. It makes me worse then sick. Normal isn't a thing in this world because no one is normal. The thought of anyone becoming normal is like me becoming the God of the universe. You trying to find a normal person is like finding a piece of hair in a hay stack." Leo made a disgusted face and smiled like a maniac.

"Campers go to your cabins and rest. Leo I hope your RKM's can protect us in the night please." Chiron suggested the thought of his soldiers protecting us and for us to rest is the last thing we need.

I ran to the Hades cabin with my hands to my face. I opened the door and slammed it shut. I jumped on my bed and cried myself to sleep I want the old Leo back. The funny, charming, crazy Leo. Where is he when we need him? I cried for the rest of the night. I hope tomorrow will be a little better than today.
