Leo POV.

My life was passing through my head in my dreams. So much death, hatred, lost, and more. my moms death and other countless lives that were lost in the war against Geae were flashing before me. I couldn't stop crying, screaming for my mom, and begging to die so I can be with her. I haven't visited her grave or seen her in the underworld when I was there.

Flashback:

I was walking in the underworld with Nico as my guid he showed me the way to Hades Palace and no one dared to attack me. It seems he even scared the dead. When we were face to face with Cerberus I was fucking scared for my life, but the dog just smiled and wagged his tail as if his master was back for playing some catch with him. I just stared in awe as he let us pass. It was cool to see famous dead people walking but they couldn't see us they just see what they want to see.

As we reached Hades Palace I was nervous, but I didn't show it. I walked to Hades throne and kneeled before him.

"My lord. I have a request that I think you will not deny it like your arrogant brother Zeus." I finished taking a deep breath and waiting for an answer.

"Hmmmmmm what is this request Leo Valdez?" Hades gestured for me to go on.

"I wish to have you kill me." I narrowed my eyes at him.

Nico looked taken back and so did Hades. He never was asked to kill someone because usually he did it without anyone asking.

"And why would you ask me something like this?" He asked like he didn't hear me right.

"You are my friends dad and his only parent. I know how he feels when it comes to loosing someone you love as they were killed in front of you even if you're young. I will die with what's left of my dignity." I waited for death with my eyes open.

"I'm not going to kill you and neither will anyone else you will be my champion Mr.Valdez. You will be able to summon the dead, shadow travel, can heal yourself with shadows, and can be invisible by using shadows." He smiled at me like I was his son.

"Thanks I guess." I left without saying goodbye.

End Flashback:

I can't believe I didn't even see my mom or try to summon her. Nico told me that his sister wouldn't let him because she was watching out for him. Saying it wouldn't be to pleasant. What ever that means I think he should see her. After seeing my mom die for the 500th time in this gods for asking dream. I woke up to blinding light and try to sit up. As I got up Hedge was there sitting down sleeping muttering food and cans. Same old Hedge what surprised me was Jason sitting on the other infirmary bed wide awake fiddling with something.

"Was sup?" I croaked my voice sounded weak and old.

"Hey man good to see you again and alive. Sorry about not iris messaging you I thought you were coming back sooner but it looked like you didn't. Not to mention you told us you were going on a "vacation" as you put it. I thought I would give you some space and time to think about things." He smiled for a second then looked down frowning thinking he was the worst friend.

I got up and patted his back. He smiled at me agin and hugged me. I hugged back after a second.

"It's ok man just glad you all are still alive. I might hate a few of you but I'm not extremely dark saying I wish you will all die. I actually care about this place." I cracked my neck and rubbed my head.

"Good cause seriously we need to talk about you using a phone." Jason joked trying to lift the mood.

I laughed and got up or at least tried and failed. He put my arm around his shoulder and helped me walk outside. When we got out of that small place I stretched my legs. I saw campers playing around, training, singing, reading, or just talking to each other. They didn't pay me any attention and it made me sad.

"Hey don't think that we don't care about you. We thought you left but once we waited for ever for your return we started getting worried. Everyone searched for you in Canada, Alaska, all over U.S., and Mexico." He said lowering his head and helping me walk.

"Thanks I just thought everyone was actually just like what Nike said about me being the outsider, the third wheel, never finding a place among my brethren." I was close to crying.

Percy came over to us and looked like he went through a meat grinder. He gave us a small smile nodding to us.

"Hi Leo. I'm so sorry for what I said to you. Friends shouldn't say things like that to each other and I get that we never actually talked after what happened on Calypsos island but I would like to tell you that I never really like like her I just saw her as a friend." Percy explained while pleading for my forgiveness.

Forgiveness is something you earn by trust and loyalty and he has shown that to everyone. He is the most loyal, honest, and biggest Kelp Head I've ever met. He may be able to redeem himself.

"Thanks for telling me that. I'm sorry for what I said to your girlfriend, Annabeth it's just that I thought no one cares about me or Hedge." I smiled back patting him on the shoulder.

"Are you kidding I searched the restricted areas of the sea to look for your sorry Hades γάιδαρος." He joked and Jason laughed along with him.

"Thanks but I must apologize to a certain Athenian." I limped to the Athenian cabin without help.

I knocked on the door and waited. Finally after five minutes Malcolm came to the door and looked surprised to see me. He looked scared and mad at me. I did kind of blame hi sister for a war problem that wasn't her fault.

"May I come in to see Annabeth?" I asked.

"Why do you want to insult her, kill her, and blame her for more problems that aren't her fault?" He growled getting his sword out.

"No I came to apologize for my accusations towards her. For that I'm truly sorry and I will pay for my actions with any punishment you throw at me I will accept with open arms." I did a mock bow.

"Hhhmmmmm... Fine come on in but if you so much as harm her I will not hesitate to kill you." Malcolm warned me sheathing his sword.

I walked in and saw that everyone was staring at me with hate and fear. All I had to do was give a signal and my army will tear this place to the ground and burn it. I saw Annabeth crying on her bed. I walked over to her and sat on the edge of her.

"Annabeth I need to talk to you about something." I looked at my hands.

"W-w-what t-t-things. A-a-are you going to blame me for more things I've done." She sniffled and cried.

"No I came to apologize for my out burst towards you. I have never lost my temper to a friend like you or anyone. It wasn't your fault at all. Luke chose a path and he stayed with it. He could have left without you and you still help saved Olympus. Your the architect of it for ZEUS sakes. You're the greatest knife wielder I know here and I wouldn't have asked for anyone else to fight along side with." I turned towards her to see that she was listening to me.

"Well thanks for apologizing. And for the compliment but it still hurt like Hades but I'm sure not as much as what Percy said to you." She sat up.

"He was right though. I showed weakness not knowing the consequence of me showing it. It costed my moms life and most of my friends." I looked down silently crying.

"Leo it wasn't your fault either. You didn't knowing anything about the gods, Titans, Giants, or monsters. You loved your mom with all your heart and you still do." she tried to cheer me up.

"I did know about the Greek mythology world I chose to put it aside were it wouldn't bother me. μέχρι να ήρθε πίσω και να με δαγκώσει στον κώλο." I mumbled the last part but she heard me and started laughing.

"Come on Torch your friends and family need to see you after such a long, long time." She managed to stop laughing to say that.

Everyone got up and left the cabin to go eat dinner. Hopefully Hedge was already there and not freaking out about me. I walked with Annaneth and the rest of my friends. We talked and I put my arm around my distant niece or whatever Hazel. This is going to be one long night.
