Emily was lying down on the bed, after taking a long bath. She can heard faint voices coming from downstairs as they all were getting ready for the event.

Time play important role in our life... One second you are the most happiest person in the whole world... Sunny soft sunshine light up your day. And in the next... Shit happens, dark clouds appears from nowhere, sun hides in fear from something...
But from what?
This wrecking ball of blazing flames that can destroy the whole universe get scared but from who? So what if it shines again but still scared and left in the needed time... What's the point of warming us again, when you can't support us in the needed time?

A big question?....
No!...
It is the thunder which cause the sun to hide away... It's roaring made you forget, how to breath... Maybe you can stand in your ground, glare sun straight in the eye without blinking away till you bleed, but can't think when the thunderstorm is one hand away from you All you do is run... Your use less plan of safety... It's ear piercing roar crumble your faith ... It's lightning causes havoc in heart beat... It's anger remind you of god... Wait but why thunder reminds me him? Describing thunderstorm, describe him well...
Ahh my mind is such a mess what the hell I am thinking!

Her chain of thought cuts when she heard a soft knock,

"Coming"

Amanda came inside with a black zip garment bag in her hand, followed by a pixie hair girl. She sat up straight,

"Emily, She is Jennifer. Your stylist for today"

She smiled at Jennifer, who returned with a polite nod.

Amanda turned to Jennifer,

"Jen, you already saw the dress... Give her neat elegant look according to the dress... Remember, she is main of this event... I also start getting ready", Amanda instructed, as she placed the bag on the bed.

" Sure Madam"

She nodded and walked out.

Jennifer clapped her hands together,

"Let's get started... First of all I want you to sit here" she said pointed at dressing chair infront of a mirror.

Emily followed her instruction.

"I want light makeup please", Emily requested.

Jennifer nodded and first dried her hair. Then told her to wear the dress,
It was midnight blue mermaid gown with pleats in a form - fitting silhouttes. It was strapless showing her bare milky white skin neck and shoulders.

after the dress she did her light makeup, tied her hair in elegant bun. She shined her dress by the silver piece of bracelet, complete with blue heels.

Amanda entered and gasped when she saw Emily,

" Holy Moly Emily, You look fantastic! Amazing, Jennifer... I am satisfied with your work. Loved it...", Amanda appreciated.

"Thanks, Madam, besides she is so easy to styled... I don't do much..."

Amanda smiled,

"Yeah, our Emily is so beautiful!"

Emily looked herself in a mirror and admired herself with a heavy heart, and turned to Amanda

"Thanks, you look bombshell too", Emily said, looking at her elder sister, Amanda was wearing Blood red one- shoulder gown with jeweled embellishments... Hair in a sexy ponytail with statement curtain fringe framing her face. Complete her dress with shiny diamond studs, bracelet, black clutch and silver heels.

"thanks honey lets go, the boys are waiting for us downstairs"

Jennifer already left, they both made their way downstair.

The boys were instructed their security head. They turned and smiled as they saw them...
"You guys look amazing", they praised.

" you too"

Zac was wearing blue suit harmonized with his eyes.

James played with ashes shade, As he was wearing grey suit.

James pulled Amanda in his arm and peck her lips. Whispering sweets in her ear.

Zac cleared his throat,
"We should go now"

They nodded and sat inside the limosine. Emily was looking outside the window, not admiring the big city but lost in her own thoughts.
As they getting closer to the hotel her heart beat fasten at hurricane speed, the first thing she wanted to do was to jumped from this car and ran like never returned.
She was fidgeting with her fingers, a warm hand placed on them. She looked up and saw Zac squeezing it in a assuring way. The car halted in front of decorated huge Five star hotel. They all got out except Zac and Emily.
"What happen? Don't you wanna go out?", asked Zac

She shook her head in 'No'

He chuckled,
"Huh? Come on Em, lets go they are waiting".

" I am scared, Zac", she whispered worriedly

"No need to be scared... We are always with you. You are a strong girl, come on!"

She nodded and took a deep breath before getting out. They made their way inside the high-ceiling hall adorned with sparky chandelier.

The head of the event was standing outside waiting for the 'Davis'. He quickly went inside when he saw them coming. And tell all the guest that they are here.

All heads turned to them, the Davis Family seemed comfortable with the impressed expressions, envied stares from the guests as they all were admiring them. But not Emily, she never went to any Posh Party before... She can handle a wild party but never comfortable with high standard things, even if she was the part of deluxe society. Emily was walking with Zac keeping her eyes down behind the Davis couple.

She frowned when They stopped, she looked up, felt her heart ran marathons, when her eyes caught the stormy blue eyes like williwaw. He was standing behind his parents looking like some fresh classic model and was making a statement in black three piece suit, and shoes, slicked hair gelled back. hands in pocket, head held high shamelessly checking her up and down with undefinable glint in eyes.

'Ahhh this devil look absolute handsome! But why he is staring me like that??? Do I look good??.... Fuck what I am thinking... I don't care if I look good or not I am not here to please anyone especially this beast!!!'

She saw him hugging James and nodding at Amanda. Her eyes turned to Nicole and Leo as they approached her. She smiled the same way she practiced in the bathroom for hours... Just for this event... She didn't want to act rude just because she wasn't happy... She didn't want to show them her agonizing situation Or King will grilled her...

Nicole was slaying in emerald velvet dress with white gold star necklace... Looking elegant as always...

her husband Leo suit up in dark blue

She hugged them,
"You look like a princess... Sweety", Nicole purred with a pleasant smile..

" Thank you... You look pretty as well"
Emily sheepishly replied, didn't know how to took compliments, an old habit of her.

Ashley came forward and tackled her in a hug... She laughed and hugged her back...
"Why you always hug like a bear?", Emily joked.

" shush!", Ashley hit her playfully.

She chuckled,

She was also looking graceful accompanying her mother's look for tonight by wearing velvet strapless thigh split gown... Rocking red lipstick...

She pulled apart...

Emily's smile dropped when he came forward.

"Hello, My Love..."

She quickly took steps back intimidated by his tall demeanor hovered over her . She clutched Zac's hand, keeping her gaze on the ground. she whispered,
"H-Hi"

"You look gorgeous, honey..."

"You look handsome too!", she blurted out.

'Shit!... This is so fast! What the hell did I just do!! Ahh! You sounds so desperate... All you have to say thank you or say nothing...'

They all chuckled at her bluntness.

" Really?", King teased with a smirk

"I-I mean, I don't-t mean to say that", She babbled.

"So, you mean I am not handsome", King provoked more

"No you are!", she blurted out again...

"So, you admit, that I am handsome"

She gasped and placed a hand on her mouth mumbling,

"I didn't say anything"
He smiled at her cuteness,

'She is so easy to messed...', King thought gazing her flushed face...

" Aw she is so adorable...stop teasing her, Son!" Nicole playfully hit his arm.

'Great Emily, Now you made a joke of your self in your own engagement. Thousand claps on your nerve-racking shitty behaviour!', Emily mentally scolded herself.

"I think, it's time. Let's start the ceremony, shall we?", Leo asked his wife.

" yeah, why not! Let's go...", Nicole beamed.

Emily's shoulder relaxed.

I should win guinness world record of holding breath for longest time...

She shuddered when a hand placed on her waist. She saw him beside her. Even in the layers of clothing, she felt the heat oozing from his body. She tried to move but his grip tightened.

'Where the hell Zac go!', Emily thought in bewilderment. She saw him with Ashley.

Nicole made her way at the top of stairs grabbing everyone's attention,

"Hello beautiful peoples, As everybody know you all are gathered here tonight for My Elder son, Your Soon to be a Don. And successful businessman King Verl Vincent's Engagement, he is getting engage to the beautiful girl in the world, in and out, Our family friend, most trusted ally, King's best friend James Davis's younger Sister in Law, Emily Grace Whiteley!!"...

The ball room filled with applause.
The stopped when Nicole spoke again,
"Now I invite King and Emily here to start this prestigious ceremony!"

She gulped when King led her at the front of the stairs. In front of everyone,

Keep breathing Keep breathing...

"Let's bring the rings please!", James shouted.
The light went dimmed. Main light circled them in its embrace.

She felt her hand getting sweaty, legs wobbled but she managed to stand straight.

'It's happening.... Why he is not the one, who I wanted to shared this moment...??' Emily thought as tears formed in her eyes but she blinked them away.

King was staring her with emotionless expression...
'I know, my love don't want this... She must be hating me more now, But I promise myself that I will turn this hate into love....' King thought gazing her glossy eyes.

King took ring from Armie, asking for her hand...

She placed her trembling hand in his, he smiled and gently slided the ring on her finger, her ring had a half heart shape engraved on it embeded with diamonds

She bite her lips to muffled her whimpering.
She watched as the cold metal came in contact with her skin.
He bent and planted a featherly kiss where her ring was. She shivered at the electric contact, and slightly pulled her hand.

Now, it's my turn

'Run Emily Run!!!' she thought,
Her heart thumping fast. It felt like it will explode at anytime,

'Grip yourself Emily, just some few more hour... It would be fine... Don't think of him as King... Imagined him as the Man you want in your life... The one you love the one you cherish....'

She looked at Zac, he smiled, telling her to be strong with his eyes. Noone understand the sibling's connection. She nodded and took a deep breath, also took his ring from Zac. She watched his ring, his ring had the other half heart but black...

'Perfect ring for him... Even the jeweler knows that King Vincent have a stony black heart!', She thought as she placed it in King's finger. Everyone clapped and cheered for the couple.
They all came forward one by one congratulating them.

His Partners from both businesses dirty and good came to met the girl who took King's cold heart away... While, half of the female population envied the epitome of beauty...

Noone dared to peek at her in a wrong way or they will face King's wrath.
And nobody want to unleash the calm beast.

A green eyes guy in grey suit came with some blonde hair girl, with blue eyes in black velvet gown.

I saw this guy with King before but not this girl...I don't know why but She look cold?
Wait I can't judge her by her look...!

"Congratulation, guys from me and Victoria..." He congratulated with a friendly smile.

He turned to Emily,
"Welcome to our family..."

Emily smiled unsure.

Armie understood and said,
"I am so sorry where my manners go... I didn't get a chance to introduce myself... I am Armie. Armie Vincent, King's younger brother, right hand and his advocate..."

"Ah, Devil's advocate", she mumbled

Oops!

King chuckled, she peeked at him through her lashes.

He raised an eyebrow amused,

She looked away turned to a surprised Armie,

"I-I am so sorry, I should thi-", her apologised cut by King

" It's fine beauty... No need to apologise..."

It's sounds more like an order.

Armie laughed it off,
"Yeah, brother is right... It's cool!"

She nodded awkwardly,

Armie said motioning towards the girl beside him,
"Emily, meet Victoria... My fiance.."
She smiled at Victoria who was watching her with straight face

"Myself Victoria Coleman. Everyone call me Miss Coleman...", Victoria said in cold tone

'What's with her attitude??', Emily thought...

Armour mentally rolled his eyes, and thought,
'Why she have to be so rude... Now brother will grill her'

"She will call you whatever she want, it doesn't matters if she calls you bitch, witch or just Victoria...", King interjected. 

" King, What are you saying!",Emily gasped at his words.

She fisted her hands, fuming.

"Why you expect her to call you Miss Coleman??", King mocked.

" because this is what they all address me, Don"

She is not They... She is Emily... Different from others... She is King's Queen... And I want you to address my Lady, by her new surname which is Mrs, Vincent... Am I clear?"

Queen...

Emily stared him surprised at his choice of words...

"King, it's fine she doesn't need to-"

"She have to."

King knew Victoria was fuming in anger but didn't dare to disrespect him... Girls like Victoria, saw decent, courteous people as dirt just because of their father's money... The girls like her have everything except modesty... They only respect money... I am sure, she is with Armie because of his charm and money... The day he lose them, he lose her. That's one of the reason he hates her... That's why he keeps her his place...

"Sure, Don", Victoria said through gritted teeth and excused herself.

Armie sighed,
"I am sorry for her behaviour... Sometimes she acts too rude"

"Sometimes?", King arched an eyebrow.

"sorry brother..."

"Don't listen to him, Armie its fine... Relax", Emily replied,

Armie smiled, she returned with a warm one...
He excused himself, and left,

"Come on Love, its time for Dinner"

She nodded, they about to left but Ashley stopped them,
"You are here, Em, our friends are here... Come lets meet them..."

She grabbed Emily's hand and pulled her with her, Ashley frowned when she didn't move.
Because of King's possesive grip on her waist,

"Brother, leave her she is going with me!" Ashley whined,

He shook his head in No
Ashley huffed,
"But why?"

"Because, It's time for dinner"

"Just wait for few minutes..." Ashley pleaded

"No"

" King, please", Emily whispered,

He stared her for some second,

"Don't take too long, you must be hungry",he said and gently let her go.

She nodded and left with Ashley to met their friends.

"Gosh, he listen to you!", Ashley whispered excitedly in her ear while walking.

Emily frowned,
"What do you mean?"

"King Vincent always do what he wanted to do, never listen to anyone. Even in small things!"

Stubborn... I guess?

Her face lit up when she saw Rose and Peter... They look cute together.

She hugged them.
"I know you guys will come"

"I know you need our support in this"

She sadly smiled

"Leave it! You look impressive by the way", Rose complemented.

" Thanks...

"Tyler didn't come with us, we tried to call him but he didn't receive? Something happen between you guys?", Peter asked

" We again had a fight", Emily told them rolling her eyes.

"He is such a psycho! What he do this time?", Ashley asked

" His usual nonsense nothing else... Forget about it... I don't want to talk about it"

They nodded

"Hey I want to meet your brother... I heard he is a hottie", Rose said winking,

" Really Rose", Peter asked glaring her.

Rose huffed,
"I am just kidding Peter"

Emily and Ashley chuckled, They called Zac, who was talking to King, he excused himself, King nodded.
He made his way to them,

"Here he is... Zac meet our friends"

"I am Rose"

"Myself Peter"
he smiled at them.

"Nice to meet you guys, I heard so much about you two from Ash"

"Okay Ash, I am jealous now... Why haven't I met him before", Rose said

Ashley laughed
" Take him if you want!

"Are you both done bargaining me?... I am happy with my partner", Zac scowled playfully

" Chillax, I am happy with mine too!"

Emily giggled at their jokes,

Finally a good time in the whole ceremony

"He is staring you all this time", Zac said

" who?"

"Your Man"

"He is not my Man", Emily hissed

" Whether you like it or not he is stay your Man"

She sheepishly glanced at King, who was listening as some guy talking but his eyes fixed on her.

"He is in love with you, Tiny... Give him a chance", Zac said,

She averted her eyes, intimidated by his intense gaze...

" Zac is right Em, ", Ashely whispered

She looked at Ashley,
"What nonsense is this?"

"Its not a nonsense,  Anyone can tell...
The way he see you, listen to you, like the world doesn't exist... Like You are his centre of attention... His usual cold eyes soften when they met yours... I am not saying this because I am his sister, I am saying because this is clearly shown...  he is new to this feeling... I think he don't know how to express it ", Ashley finished.

" you guys are crazy... I am hungry lets go!" she said and walked away

Ashley was about to answered but Zac stopped her,

"Let her, she is stubborn... She will understand... It takes time... You guys go eat something we are also going"

They nodded,
Ashley and Zac went for dinner at the family table...

After dinner, King took Emily outside near the pool.

"W-Why we are here", she asked nervously looking around at the empty pool side,

He pulled her in to him sliding both his hands on her waist, locking her in his arms.

She shuddered at his movement,

" So Devil huh?", he asked amused,

She nervously laughed and meekly, said,
"It slipped from my tongue"

"Hmm, I wonder what names you call me on my back..."

Don't ask...

She looked everywhere except him.

"C-Can I ask you something?", she whispered,

"Sure"

"There are lots of pretty girls here, why you choose me?"

"Because you are different from them... That's one of the reason I fall for you"

"You don't know, I am also like them, yo-"

He cut her off,

"I saying because I know, My Love. And Don't compare yourself to them. They are just ordinary smells in some expensive bottles, the real scent of Rose is you...."

Her heart fluttered at his words, 
She felt dinosaurs jumping in her stomach...

'This is the best thing anyone ever said to her...' she thought, gazing deep in his orbs,

Why I never detect lie in them... They seems so true, so faithful...Why?

She cleared her throat, averted her gaze.
Blush crept from her neck to her cheeks,
"I-I think we s-should go-" her  stuttering cut by him,

"Can I ask you something too?", He asked.

" ye-ah sur-e"

"Do you always stammer?"

Her eyes widened at his question, 

"No! Only w-when I am nerv-ous"

He smirked and pulled her more closers... Now, the tip of their nose touching. Their hot breath mixing with each other keeping them warm...

"Am I making you nervous, My love?", he whispered intensely staring at her.

She gulped at their proximity...
His eyes fixed on her bitting lips... He leaned closer...
her eyes getting heavy on her own...

" Emily, It's time-"

Her eyes flutter opened, she quickly took step back away.

A growl escaped his lips,

They turned to Zac, who was standing their shocked...

"What do you want!", King roared at their interrupter.

He cleared his throat,
"I am sorry Don, I don't mean to interrupt... James calling her, we are going home..."

He clenched his jaw,
"You go she is coming!", he ordered

He nodded and left...
She glanced back at him as he mumbling profanities in his breath she averted her gaze quickly blushing.

" I-I am going bye!", she said and about to left but he stopped her,

"Come, let me take you"

She nodded as they made their way outside, where everyone waiting for them, she bid his Family bye.

"What took you so long?", James asked

" Fuck you!" King hissed

"Wait, What did I do!", James asked clueless,

King glared him and turned to her, his eyes soften,
"Take care of yourself, My Love" he said and kissed her forhead,

She blushed

He opened the door of Limo for Emily,

"Sit"

She waved them bye and sat inside, he closed the door, James sat inside too.

Driver started the car and drove away...

"What happen to King, he seems so pissed off", James asked to Emily,

Zac suppressed his laughter,
"I-I don't know", Emily answered shrugging,

" Really, Tiny?", Zac teased

Emily glared him.

James watched thier exchange and stated,

"I will ask him Later..."

So, what Emily will going to do next?
