The two runners ran over to homestead (which is basically just a treehouse), and saw that that girl was awake, and throwing rocks and nuts at the gladers below. "Hey if you throw one more of tho-OWWW!", said Gally as he got hit in the face with a walnut. Thomas and Minho walked over to Newt, who was with the other gladers below homestead. He and some other gladers were taking cover behind some pieces of wood. "I don't think she likes us very much," he said. "Hey stop!", said Thomas, hoping she would stop. "Don't talk to me!", the girl said throwing another rock down. "Hey hey hey it's Thomas its Thomas," said Thomas, also hoping she would stop. The girl stopped, looked down, and instantly went back. "Okay I'm coming up," said Thomas. "Just me," Said Thomas to Gally. He slowly walked up. Finally, he made it to the top, but when he opened the door a machete was pointed at him.
