Review for RCorsini Sushi and Sea Lions

In this love story about a ballerina and an electrician, Daniela is uncommon in her discipline and anger, which I welcome, and Vincent (Vinnie) is in a situation so complicated, that I feel instantly for him. There are immediate conflicts which is helpful in keeping the story fresh. There's a sweetness and realness to both characters. I also enjoyed that these characters were experiencing real life drama that gave them depth. This story was told with an easy style and was well-paced.

One thing I found could be worked on was how similar Daniela and Vincent's POV were written, as if they're the same person. I think a third-person limited storytelling would help if the author wants to keep that tone. Otherwise, Vincent needs to have a distinct voice from Daniela's.

All in all, this was a solid romance.

Review for theashesofthephoenix Ashes of the Phoenix - The Fade

This is the most unusual book I've read on Wattpad and for that... I'm grateful. This is so unique. So creative. And the writing style here is a pleasure to read. Fade is a lead who's instantly unforgettable. The way she thinks, dresses, and behaves are odd but cool and add to her adventures. The author describes her as weird. I don't. She's real. The illustrations add a sense of uneasiness that enhances the unique quality of this tale.

One thing the author needs to watch for is the typos. I think it happens when we upload our stories to the site sometimes or they're just an oversight. The typos aren't major, though. 

I just can't wait to dive back into this one and see where she ends up.

Review for JustNicole0001 Salutatorian Wars

This was one of the most fun-to-read openings I've read in while. Immediately, I was invested and amused and ready to charge through the rest of the book. Calin and Gwen are deliciously competitive and arrogant and smart. That these two play second fiddle to a Korean lesbian as well is refreshing. Alison Cho is like a puppetmaster to the entire operation and if she can get her BFF Calin to beat Gwen in this war, she will do everything she possibly can to do it. It's a loyalty that I found heartwarming... and a bit much... and hilarious especially in the later scene with the Calculus teacher, Mr Weitz. Oh Calin. 🤣🤣🤣

The author could use a more refined cover but that is my sole issue that can always be changed at any moment. 

The treasure is in the story. The upcoming chapters will surely be explosive.
