Tadashi should have expected it, the person he was supposed to meet was late.

Of course they would be. Tadashi took off his jacket off and hung it behind his chair, then checked his watch then clenched his jaw subconsciously.

His phone dinged and he picked it up to check it, he had nothing else to do anyway. It said 'message from thepinkcat'.

'I don't see you,,,I'm late aren't I?'

Yeah you are.

'Where are you? I'm pretty sure I can spot a pink cat in this place.' Tadashi replied.

'XDXDXD. I'm wearing a green shirt, black pants, and from how fassg I reply, I'm definitely looking at my phone.' They sent, then immediately sent another after it.

'Ew, typo.'

Tadashi looked around. Of course about a dozen people were looking at their phones.

He started to look down at his phone to text again when his head quickly snapped up.

He saw the green shirt at the corner of his eye. Black pants, check. He was definitely looking at his phone.

Tadashi got up at the same time he looked up from his phone, their eyes met and recognition registered. The pink cat walked over to him quickly.

"Fu- Are you... what are you doing here?" He was asked by a guy with curly-ish brown hair and greenest eyes he'd ever seen. It was Eden.

"Meeting someone, what are you doing here?" Tadashi immediately answered and asked.

"Meeting someone, what are you... sorry," Eden said before he could stupidly ask the same question again. "Wait, wait a damn minute... the person you are meeting, is it thepinkcat?"

Tadashi slowly sat back down, looking in disbelief. "No fucking way."

Eden's eyes widened as he sat down slowly from across Tadashi. "This is so weird," he said.

"Yeah, no kidding. Are you really the person I've been texting?"

"In the flesh from what it looks like," replied Eden.

"Your personality... Sorry but the Eden I've met and the person I've been texting are worlds apart, two completely different people," said Tadashi.

"I...yeah, my personality takes a total turn when I'm behind a computer," replied Eden. "Or so I've heard."

Tadashi exhaled and crossed his arms. His jaw was set in seriousness as he regarded Eden. "I hope you're not into the habit of meeting random strangers," he finally said.

"Really?" Eden cocked his head as if in question. "You say that like I'm the one who asked to meet."

"I know, it's just, it could have been anyone else."

"Exactly how am I supposed to know that?" Asked Eden.

Tadashi shook his head and changed the subject. "Never mind, I'm just really surprised. Why aren't you?"

"I am," said Eden. "But coincidences happen all the time."

A waiter came to take their order. Tadashi watched for four full minutes as he listened to Eden order basically everything on the menu. It might as well have been.

Even the waiter seemed a little surprised. Tadashi only asked for water and the waiter left after a while of scribbling. When he was gone, Tadashi's eyebrows remained raised, directed at Eden.

"What?" Eden asked. "Just because we know each other doesn't mean I'm not going to keep my promise." Eden laughed. "I said I'd bleed your pockets dry, I like to keep my promises."

"That's not what I'm thinking about," said Tadashi. "How is all that supposed to fit inside you?" His eyes quickly roamed Eden's slender frame then skimmed back to his face.

He shrugged and then smiled at Tadashi as if an idea bulb had lit inside his head.

"What's with that look?" Tadashi asked.

Eden's small laugh could have passed for an evil one. "I asked you out and you turned me down, and now technically, you've asked me out. It's fate isn't it?"

This was another Eden he was meeting yet again. Tadashi answered him. "There's no reason for us to meet again after this, so I wouldn't agree with you."

Eden frowned then sighed. "It's someone else isn't it?"

Tadashi slowly nodded, telling Eden the truth.

"The way you look at me is a little misleading. But you could have just said that, I get it," Eden said with a smile on his face.

Tadashi didn't know there was a way he looked at him. But he wasn't about to ask. "So... you're a hacker?"

"Not really," Eden answered. "But I do some hacking in my free time, but only big databases or difficult ones. Of course I don't do it cheaply."

He would thrive if that was his full time job, but he knew Eden came from a rich family. This was just a hobby.

"Why do you do it?" Tadashi asked.

"Being a computer geek in my free time? It's fun, plus I need the cash."

"You do? You're already rich right? What do you mean you need the cash?"

"Ohh? Did someone do their homework?"

"I like to be informed, consider it a habit. Besides, if your brother was in an arranged marriage with Alexander, then your family is definitely rich. His father would never have settled for less."

Tadashi stared at Eden to find him staring back at him.

"What?" Tadashi asked. Eden was looking at him like he was seeing him again for the first time.

"It's easy to miss, but I love the way your accent creeps in. To be honest, it's kind of sexy," Eden said with a somewhat dreamy look on his face.

Tadashi could never understand what was people liked about his accent the few times it seeped out. Riley had said the same thing the first time they talked. He still didn't get it.

Tadashi sighed and decided to keep the conversation on the same topic. "So why do you do it?"

"I decided to move out, I love my parents to death but I wasn't waiting around to be talked into a marriage for the sake of the business. I noticed they kept pushing me towards a prince from the Middle East. He was charming but I wasn't really interested in the whole being a Disney princess thing you know."

"I don't know," Tadashi chuckled. "But do carry on."

"Of course you don't. Well, we decided to be friends. He's the type of person who could be fun but works way too much, always too busy and absolutely no time for romance."

"I do know someone like that," said Tadashi.

Eden nodded. "Oh," he said. "Sorry I got a little side tracked. So my dad, extremely dramatic man don't even get me started. He said I'd die if I moved out on my own, that I needed the family wealth to survive. So until I can prove that I can earn my own money they won't give me their blessing to go."

"You look conflicted," said Tadashi.

"I'm not sure I want to go anymore, who'll take care of them? You should see my dad trying everything to make me change my mind. I think it's working."

"You can find common ground right? They don't want you to move out, you don't want to marry a stranger. Isn't that solved?"

Eden raised a hand towards Tadashi while he closed his eyes. A tad bit dramatic in Tadashi's opinion. "Stop, you don't want to hear about my dads theatrics when I brought that up."

Tadashi chuckled as all the food was brought to the table. He looked at the food, then he looked at Eden, still not believing it.

He looked well, happy.

"What are you doing?" Tadashi asked as Eden held his phone up.

"Capturing the moment of course. I don't think there's a lot that shocks you, oh and this food looks sexy."

Tadashi's hand stretched to cover the camera and Eden sort of giggled, pulling it away then turned it to himself and smiled before waving and stopping the recording.

"I can't believe you are the same Eden I've met," said Tadashi. "Which one's the real you?"

He shrugged. "Tell me when you find out," Eden said before digging in.

He moaned as he bit into a burger and Tadashi's hand tightened a little as he watched him.

"This is shhooo good," he said after chewing for a while with his mouth full. "You have to try it." He held it out to Tadashi still chewing.

Tadashi raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms again. "No thank you," he said.

"Not hungry?" Eden asked and Tadashi nodded.

Eden finished the burger and picked up the next item of food. He picked the crème brûlée like he didn't have a ton of greasy food still left to eat.

He put the spoon in his mouth with unfocused eyes,  as if to test it out, then took up another spoonful and  closed his eyes, tilting his head as he ate it.

"Fuck... you have to try this Tadashi. You're missing out. Here," he held a spoonful out to him.

Tadashi shook his head. "I'm sure it's delicious but no thanks."

"Come on, please please please."

Just...what the fuck.

Tadashi noticed his cheeks were a little flushed. There was a little pink tinge on them, and so much hope in his eyes that he leaned forward and took the spoon in his mouth.

Eden watched his face for any expression. He was right. It was fucking good.

Eden smiled excitedly after he'd swallowed and waited for Tadashi's approval.

"Not bad at all," said Tadashi.

"Right? Do you want more?" Eden was already bringing another spoonful to his mouth.

Tadashi held out a hand and declined.

"Fine then." The brown haired guy looked a little disappointed. "That's as far as my generosity goes."

He shrugged and watched Eden devour the entire table of food. He didn't remember the last time he had seen such an appreciation for food.

The smaller man wiped his mouth and leaned back in his chair. "Holy cow, that was good."

He didn't doubt it. Not with the display he'd just witnessed. Eden drained his cup of its drink before sitting back and smiling.

"You can order for more if you want," said Tadashi. Where the fuck did that come from?

"I know, it's part of the deal, and I will, in a while," said Eden. "For now let's talk."

Eden didn't look like someone who had just eaten a mountain of food, he looked very composed like he was just waiting for the order and hadn't tasted anything.

"You know this...Pierre Leblanc? Who is he, seems like a really big deal," he asked.

Eden got serious and looked at him, waiting for him to tell him who Pierre was.

"I can't share that information," said Tadashi.

He couldn't start with giving out Pierre's identity. He'd tell him other bits of details to be fair but just like he didn't expect Eden to tell him exactly who hired him, he wouldn't tell him who Pierre was.

"You really are hot Tadashi Ishii," said Eden.

"Where I'm from, last names come first," replied Tadashi.

Eden laughed a pretty sound. "So you can't take a compliment huh?"

For the first time since he'd seen him, Tadashi looked a little uncomfortable. "That is irrelevant...What do they want with Pierre Leblanc?" He asked.

"I can't share that information," said Eden, echoing Tadashi's words back.

Tadashi seemed like he saw that coming. "Touché," he said.

Eden's eyes lingered before he answered. "I'm just kidding, I have no idea."

"You don't know?"

"Nope, we just had a discussion because I was tired of seeing them go the wrong way about tracking someone," said Eden. "Agreed on a price and I found him for them."

Tadashi couldn't believe what he was hearing. "Eden... what if you handed an innocent person to criminals? You can't just trust anyone like that."

"I know I know," he replied. "I trust too easily but they gave me their word you know."

"Oh my God," Tadashi said under his breath.

"Tadashi, my gut feelings are never wrong, I don't think they are bad people."

Tadashi nodded. "That may be, or not. So what do they know now?"

"Everything. For a long while no one had heard from him, he was impossible to find, but people see things... walls have ears, that sort of thing. You'll be amazed what descriptions and timing can do to help find a person."

"Are you saying you physically looked for him?"

"At first yes. But after a few clues, I started the real work. Checking everything. Hacked into a few airports' databases for information. I started from there. Then a few days ago, Pierre Leblanc reactivated his phone, and I had him. His location changed but as of now, he hasn't moved."

From when they flew to the resort?

"So you're saying–"

"My work is done, I just gave them my findings before coming to meet you," said Eden.

"Fuck," Tadashi was off his chair in a split second. "You've led them straight to him."

Eden was confused at Tadashi's sudden behavior.

"I have to go," Tadashi said before turning to leave.

Eden got up too.

"Wait!" He grabbed his jacket to give it to him but by the time he had taken three steps, Tadashi was gone.
