You're Still Here? Update
I don't even have any words honestly.
I was checking the email to which this account is connected to and was shocked to see that people are still reading and commenting on this story.
Well for starters, yes I still have the document buried on google drive which this story was written on. But I haven't looked at it since I posted the last chapter a long two years ago.
A lot has happened in that time, 2 relationships, 2 breakups, one of which I am still recovering from as it occurred a month ago, a complete change of my friend group, a part-time job as a cashier and the life that is the second year of university.
It's been a lot to stay the least and with covid-19 added to it, I've started working on myself and getting therapy.
I still adore Haikyuu and have been following the new season and I still genuinely love the idea of this story though I don't quite know how to go about it.
If I remember once my exams are over I would like to look into continuing it though it might be a different writing style since it's been so long. This is assuming that writing 3 take-home exams (they're pretty much essays), and 2 normal ones, while being a history major and having written too many essays as is, doesn't drain me to the point I'm still burnt out.
I can't promise I will ever update this story, but I can say I would like to. There's a lot I want to do, rebuilding friendships, taking care of myself, talking with my most recent ex and try my best with him so I can move forward knowing I did my best. (Sounds foolish since he ended it but it was a unique breakup and he is such a good person).
There's so much to do but there's a lot of exhaustion from the way the world is right now and I tore my own life apart.
But thank you to those that are still here. The fact that people like this story at all when Lauryn's "Your Voice" is so much better, makes me happier than I could express.
I am grateful you enjoyed what I did write and hopefully, I can sort things out and make the time to write a little more.
Thank you
- Heather
