Violet and Kolt had arrived, with Roger practically breathing down their necks, to the place where he planned to kill them.
"There we go. Serves you right for claiming you have a sisterly bond with this plastic freak!" Roger spat into Kolt's ear, taking a step back to reload his gun. Kolt and Violet exchanged a look and Violet thought about the options in her head.

Violet bit her lip, pondering her options once more, knowing she was running out of time. Her LED changed from yellow to a calm blue. She knew what to do.

🔴Fight back

She gave Kolt a brisk nod as they attacked Roger trying to get at his gun, but in the end... they couldn't win. They lied there dead on the floor, blue and red blood mixed together, as one.

Roger ran, but not before being arrested outside.

Connor rushed inside. But it was too late. Kolt and Violet were gone.

Location: Jericho
Time: 10:00 pm

Connor opened the door, and many eyes rested upon him.
"Well?" Anastasia asked, hoping they would rush through the door. Connor hesitated to answer her, trying to find the right words, when she answered instead.
"They're gone... aren't they?" Anastasia questioned. Connor nodded and the ship became radio silent.

It's short, and slightly depressing, but it's all I could think of. Also radio silent doesn't seem like the right word to use either..

I have no idea when the next part will be published.

Also, sorry, I was... busy thinking of my other books in my head, with music and headphones... it's all I do when I listen to music!😂
