Author's Note
As the story of Reed and Annabelle ends here, at the beginning of their new life somewhere far away from the Sacred Dry, I feel like I should somehow write a few things down about this story.
If you made your way all the way through this book until this very author's note, I want to say thank you for not abandoning me along the road. As happens so very often to me, I started this project very motivated and head on. The first ten chapters went fluidly and then things got difficult. To avoid plot holes I had to add a lot of other elements which of course made the story more complicated. As I posted the last chapter, I realized that I did not use those extra elements to the fullest.
However, I do not find myself in the right motivation/creativity to rewrite this entire story at this exact moment and edit the whole bunch. This story was the first complete original work with all original characters in an original setting. As you may tell, the first chapters are very descriptive of this world and characters. As the story continues, I personally feel as if it's lacking some tangible description of the setting.
I do plan on editing and rewriting this story as I personally adore Reed and Annabelle. Their relationship in this book isn't quite what I was working towards. It is one of my problems as a writer that I watch/create the story more in my head than I do in writing and then magically assume my readers are aware of the depth and details of my characters whilst I haven't really given them the opportunity to. For this I am very sorry and it is my goal to master a way to write exactly as I imagine.
As soon as I come back to this story, you will know. For now I want to express my gratitude for those who've read, commented and voted on this story.
