Jodie groggily walked into the kitchen and grabbed a granola bar and her coffee, sitting at the table and tried to eat as quickly as she can. It was the first day of school. But it was the first day of Hell School. Oops, high school.
"There she is!" Tony greeted her with a big smile as so did Clint and Steve. "Morning sweetheart," Steve greeted her. "Wow Jodie, you look like shit," Tony added with a chuckle. Steve shot him a glare followed by an eye roll.
"Thanks for the self confidence booster on my first day of high school," Jodie said with an eye roll, not really in the mood at the moment for being bullied. She groaned as she poured herself a massive mug of coffee and grabbed a quick granola bar to eat, sitting down with the rest of them.
"You better hurry, kiddo. You're gonna miss the bus." Clint said, looking at his watch. "Or...we can take her to school. In my new convertible. Everyone will be so jealous," Tony suggested with a mischievous smirk.
"Oh god please no..." she muttered quietly while sipping her coffee. "That's actually a great idea Stark," Clint said with a mischievous smile, knowing how much she would hate that. "Dad!" Jodie whined, hoping Steve would jump in and stop this.
"Why not? I don't think it's such a bad idea," he said with a smug smirk, too.

Jodie slumped in the front seat, going on her phone while she hoped nobody she knew saw her as Tony and the gang drove her to school in his new car like he promised.
"I hope nobody I know sees me here..." she mumbled, scrolling through her Snapchat. Tony pulled up to the front of the school, and Jodie was nervous. She saw students walking around campus, standing in circles as they talked with their friends.
She slumped down further and Tony reached over her, opening her car door. "C'mon, Jodie! I've got places to be!" He said, shooing her out of the door.
Jodie sighed heavily and grabbed her purse, swinging it over her shoulder as she shut the car door behind her hopping out. She rolled her eyes as they waved and shouted loudly their goodbyes at her so they can purposely be heard by the other students. Jodie turned around so her back was now facing them as she smirked a little to herself as Tony put on his sunglasses trying to look cool, and he drove them off.

"Okay...let's see. Where is room 145?" She asked, looking at her schedule. She gulped a little when she noticed a kid holding a smaller kid by his collar and yelling in his face. "Flash! Come on!" His friend called. Flash. Jodie took a mental note of the name, in case she had to step in to any of his future attacks.
Why did that name Flash sound familiar to her, though? She felt like Peter had mentioned that name to her a couple times before back in Middle School...
"Hey, are you lost?" A cheery girl in front of Jodie asked with a big smile on her face. "Er...actually I am. Do you know where room 145 is?" Jodie asked the girl, who looked over her shoulder to see her schedule.
"Yes I do! I can take you there if you want! I'm Jade, nice to meet you!" She introduced. "Jodie Rogers." Jodie smiled, shaking the girl's hand. "You're a freshman right?" She asked her. "Yeah..." Jodie said a little nervously. She heard there was a thing called freshman Friday where all the seniors get to bully the freshman for a day. And it was this friday!
"Don't worry, high school isn't as bad as everyone makes it seem! It's actually a lot better than middle school. Everyone here is nicer, and more laxed in my opinion. The teachers even just let you go on your phone during class and won't bother to say anything to you about it because they don't care." Jade explained with a smile.
Jodie perked up when she said that. "Wait, the teachers don't yell at you to put your phone away here?"
"Well, most of them don't. But sometimes you'll run into that one or two teachers who are super strict with everything like that." She said with a shrug.
"Also, you might wanna watch out for Flash, and Mackenzie Hills. Mackenzie is in my grade, and she's the school bitch. And Flash is just a jerk, he most likely won't bother you, except maybe hit on you a little but I'd steer clear of Mackenzie. I made the mistake of standing up to her once and became her number one target for four years, until she got bored of me and moved on to someone else." Jade explained with a shrug.
"Damn..." Jodie muttered, nervously looking around the halls. "Oh, so here is 145! I hope I'll see you later! If I don't, here's my Snapchat!" Jade said, quickly logging onto the app and opening to her profile. Jodie took a picture of it and added her right away. "Awesome thank you so much!" Jodie smiled, waving to Jade as she walked off to her first class on her first day of high school.
