7|Home sweet home
A part of Knox felt guilty for what he was doing but another part told him it was the right thing to do. He knew he had made stupid mistakes in the past, but here he was, ready to right his wrong. He came back knowing he wouldn't find the same innocent Gina but he had hoped that if she had changed, it wouldn't be drastic.
He was sourly wrong.
This Gina – the mature and sharp tongued Gina was nothing he had expected but yet he was enthused to find out more about her. Knox knew he could have every bit of info at his fingertips if he wanted to, but he wanted to find out for himself. Yes, she had told him bluntly that she liked sex and men but Knox knew there was more beneath. He couldn't have imagined Gina being with another man – she was innocent and was only his years ago and still to this date, the mere thought of her being with other men enraged him.
He had wanted to rip out the man's throat when had walked in on them. It had taken him everything he possessed to not beat him to a pulp, but Knox promised himself that he would if he ever saw it again.
As he walked inside the hotel, he recognised the very same man she had been with in her suite. He didn't catch sight of Knox as he left but Knox was left to wonder why he was there.
Was he with Gina? His subconscious questioned and Knox couldn't help but feel the raw rage that consumed him.
He marched towards the man behind the desk with his steely face, demanding, "let me up to Gina's penthouse suite now."
"Excuse me, I'll have to call and –"
"Now or I swear to God, you won't have a job after this."
Hesitatingly, he muttered a strained, "fine."
The elevator to Gina's suite opened and Knox was welcomed by a frightened Gina.
"What the hell are you doing here?" she asked angrily, tucking the towel around her considering she just changed.
Knox thought differently.
He ground his teeth and determinedly strolled towards her. "Regardless of the circumstances, it's still our wedding day for fucks sake!"
Gina was oblivious as to what he was referring but she had no interests in finding out. "Get the hell out!"
Knox stood ground. "Don't you feel an ounce of shame?" he roared. "Not one hour after our wedding and you invited a man into your bed!"
Gina had no clue of what he was speaking but he could think whatever he wanted for all she cared.
"What are you, jealous?" she scoffed, folding her arms.
Knox's nose flared with anger. "If you for one moment think you're gonna make a mockery out of this arrangement, think again"
Gina gritted her teeth as she looked up at him, unable to cower under his broodiness. "I will do whatever the fúck I want, marriage or not."
Their gazes locked in a heated battle for sometime, neither surrendering as they partook in a silent quarrel. Finally Knox smiled, surprising Gina.
"Do anything that goes against the expectations of a marriage and I'll make certain I'm the one lighting the match when your father's company burns to the ground."
His threats fueled Gina's anger to a point where she could no longer keep her hands to the side. In one swift movement, she slapped Knox squarely across the jaw. His muscles flexed as he glared at Gina with lethal gray eyes that only seemed to intensify in its glaring.
"Pack your bags, I'll have someone over to escort you to the house," he said as he straightened himself and moved towards the elevator.
He paused to spare her a glance. "And Gina, I'll expect you in my bed tonight."
As was promised, Gina was informed that two men were downstairs, ready to take her belongings to Knox's place. She had packed everything with anger, hating the fact that she had to be leaving the home she'd known for years. Gina didn't know when she'd come to accept the entire arrangement but she knew it wouldn't be anytime soon.
Letting the handymen up, Gina allowed them to get her stuff. She drove behind the small minibus in silence, eyes widening when she came upon the huge house that they parked in front of. She was dazzled by it's beauty, admiring the simple, yet elegant architecture. A fountain at the central front, achieving in a circular driveway before entering the house, which epitomised beauty especially with the garden of beautiful flowers at each side.
As she left the car and moved towards the house, she paused when she met Knox at the door. He wore a proud smile that was no match for his jeans and T-shirt. As he approached her, his smile broadened.
"For a moment there, I thought I'd have to come drag you here myself," he said.
"As if you could," she hissed, rolling her eyes.
Knox chuckled. "Welcome, I hope you like it. It was the very first thing I bought when I came back to America."
He walked as he spoke, Gina followed suit, in complete awe when she met up with the interior, each room a different earth toned color that compliment each expensive piece of fine furniture.
Knox gave her the grand tour of the house which almost seemed tiring until he stopped at a door.
"This will be our bedroom," he said as he pushed the door open, welcoming a huge king sized bed with night stands at both ends, a vanity dresser, and an adjoining bathroom.
"I won't be sleeping here," Gina informed tightly.
"I won't have you sleep anywhere else," he said nonchalantly as he turned to face her.
Gina scoffed and turned to leave but he quickly held her hand, pulling her to him. She gasped as their bodies made contact, the breath escaping her lungs at his unexpected actions.
"I plan to have you in every single way Gina and soon you'll find that you'll be unable to resist my attentions," he whispered against her ear, the warmth of his breath sending a pleasing tingle through her body.
Knox allowed his hands to slide from the small of her waist to her butt where he ran his hand over the small mound. "Still perfect," he teased, before he walked away.
Gina shuddered involuntarily, swallowing hard, knowing that try as she might, it would be hard to ignore Knox's charms. He fueled the teen in her – the innocent side, the side that went meek under his seductive ways.
Suffocating a moan, she stepped inside the room, plopping down on the bed with a huff while her eyes roamed the room. She noticed the huge built in closet and knew it would be enough to host her stuff. Her eyes then went to linger on the bed and already unceremonious thoughts plagued her mind. Heat pooled in her core as she thought about what would happen if she didn't play it safe.
"Gina!" Knox called. Gina got up and went to the kitchen where she saw Knox around a stove.
"What?"
"Hungry?" he asked without looking her way.
"No," was the stiff reply he got in turn.
"You're too skinny, you need to eat."
"I'm perfectly comfortable with my weight, thank you."
Knox stepped away from the steaming pot and moved towards her where he stood directly in front of her, his eyes piercing.
"You might as well get used to us Gina. It will be us for a very long time," he reminded, using his index finger to lightly lift her chin before he smiled.
"I'm making spaghetti and meatballs. If I remember clearly, it was your favourite."
Gina gritted her teeth, her heart slightly fluttering at the fact that he had remembered such a distant detail. "It no longer is."
She shrugged out of his touch, not only because it was sending her senses in a frenzy but because she knew it was unwarranted.
"I'm going to take a shower."

That night after slipping into her robe, Gina tried to do anything that would distract her from going to bed. She unpacked all her clothes, taking gentle time to arrange them before she went into the living room to watch TV. She never watched TV – it was unamusing and uninteresting, but she did it anyway, focusing her gaze on the screen when Knox entered.
He sat beside her, the fresh scent of his body soap assaulting her senses. Gina could feel the warmth of him exude on her skin. Immediately she wanted to move but knew she would be making things too obvious. She held her breath when Knox turned and smiled at her.
"I never knew you to be a fan of documentaries," he commented, awaiting her reaction.
Looking at the TV, Gina realized it was indeed what she was watching, and immediately she wanted to curse herself, but instead maintained her cool. "You never really knew me, did you?" she quipped.
"I knew your body and I still know the signs when you want to fuçk, sweetheart," Knox exclaimed bluntly, watching Gina's swallow.
She could already feel the buildup between her thighs, her core pooling with heat at his words. Knox watched every anxious movement she made, inwardly rejoicing at his small torture, even thought he himself was being tortured by her mere presence.
Gina got up and moved towards the bedroom, muttering a curse beneath her breath. To spite Knox, she knew she had to resist him – make him see that she wasn't so submissive after all. She untied the knot to her robe, welcoming her red negligée. Not wanting Knox to even catch a glimpse of her, she escaped beneath the covers, wrapping herself all the way to her neck.
She closed her eyes instantly and hoped for a quick sleep but quickly opened them when she heard the click of the door. Gina's eyes bursted open, coming in contact with Knox. Eyes widening even more, Gina bit her lips to prevent a gasp.
There Knox stood, moving towards the bed, completely naked. All his muscles were in perfect display, the soft glow of the lights creating stark contrasts against his flawless skin.
He shuffled beneath the covers and released a relief moan before turning off the lights. Gina knew exactly what this was – he was teasing her, tempting her – to fall prey to his seduction. While Gina had to admit it was a conniving act, she knew she couldn't allow Knox to get what he wanted – again.
After much efforts to sleep, Gina finally managed to do so, but was again awoken to torment in the wee hours of the night. Her eyes fluttered open, her senses coming to life as she felt something firm on her buttocks. Familiarity dawned and Gina gasped upon realising it was Knox's manhood. She turned fully, glancing at his face to realise he was fast asleep – the devil taking rest. His features seemed to have softened with sleep, achieving a sense of innocence that was a distant description of what he really was.
She noticed the gentle rise and fall of his muscular chest, his soft exhales of breath, fanning against her arm. Shuddering involuntarily, Gina stifled an irritated moan and flopped down on the bed, staring blankly at the board ceiling and wondering why she had to be placed in such a mess.
