Hello everyone! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Amy Rose and I'm Second in Command of the Resistance in Central Mobius. It has been hell in the last 6 months. The Hero of Mobius, Sonic the Hedgehog, has been confirmed dead ever since Eggman's last assault; you see, according to Tails, Sonic was doing his regular patrol at Green Hill Zone when he was buzzed in to help some civilians who were under attack. It was believed that the assault was like any other. Eggman attacks some civilians, Sonic and/or one of us hears it, kicks his butt, he vows to beat us, celebratory dinner, Two weeks later, do it all again.

    But something was different about the last one, it was a coordinated attack. Literally. Tails and other witness have confirmed sightings of Chaos, Metal Sonic, Zavok, and as much as I don't want to believe it, Shadow the Hedgehog. Shadow isn't the kind of person who would just up and turn on us. Is he aware that what he's doing is going against what he told me about in the ARK? I don't think he would REALLY betray us, he might have an ulterior motive, at least I hope. It breaks my heart, not just the fact that my Sonic is gone, but the fact that, yet again, everyone must go through hell in order to obtain peace, in the end, I sometimes wonder to myself; "Is this really worth it?" 

"Amy!" Knuckles' voice pulled me from my thoughts.

"Oh, sorry. What were you saying Commander?" In the time this has all happened, Knuckles eventually left Angel Island, and tool charge of the Central Wing of the Resistance. "We need you to play the field on today's mission, Team Chaotix is training the rookie, Silver is assisting my spy with an infiltration mission. It's a rescue, can you handle it?" 

"Sure thing." I started headed for the secret tunnel, but then was stopped by a hand on my shoulder. "Hey."

"Yeah?"

"You alright? I know these past few months have been really hard on all of us, and I've been paying attention to you, you seem like you have a lot more on your mind than just missions." I smiled, although he's a hot head, I can always count on Knuckles to be a shoulder I can cry on and an ear to listen to my worries.

      "I was just thinking to myself, is all. Still hard to believe that Sonic's gone, I'm worried sick about Tails after he's gone M.I.A, and it's still hard for me to grasp the fact that Shadow actually assisted Eggman with getting rid of Sonic. I just believe that there's more than what meets the eye this. Call it instinct, but I just can't shake the feeling that there's something we're not seeing. Also the new guy that's working with Eggman, going on by what Tails reported, this guy gives me creeps."

  "Look, I get where you're coming from. Yet another shitty war we have to deal with, but this time our forces are cut in half, and without Sonic or Tails. I can't really say that I agree with you about Shadow, to be honest never really trusted him in the first place. But, he has helped us behind the scenes in the past. But soon enough we will turn the tide on this guy."

   I give a soft smile; "Thanks Knux, I'll be back. Hopefully with new recruits. Catch you later." I said as I left for the tunnel.

"Wait!" Knuckles called out behind me as I was on my way.

"Yeah?"

"Don't you think might need a Wispon for this job?"

"Nah, I should be good, I'll stick to my hammer."

"Stay safe soldier"

"Sir, yes sir!"
