What's going on..? All I remember is missing warmth from-"Shadow!" I say waking up. "Amy! Thank goodness you're awake!" I look over and see Sally and Cream looking over me tired and worried. "Shadow, where's Shadow?" I ask. "I'm right here." Shadow says behind me I look and see that both him and Sonic battered up... badly. "What happened-" "As you can see, our adversary gained the upper hand upon the battlefield. But We want to tell you all something." I wonder what it's about..."We need to evacuate the city." What?! "Once that is over, we must tell you all news, can't say whether it's bad or good-" "Good?! What in your right mind makes you think this is good in any way possible?!" Sonic questions him angrily. "Now's not the time to be arguing about this, right now our main priority is to keep the citizens of Knothole safe." Shadow says equally annoyed and concerned. "Leave that to us...you three get some rest. You're really bruised up after that experience with that 'Z' guy." Knuckles said rallying up the Team Fighters. "Alright, Antoine, Bunnie, and Rotor will stay here and watch over the hedgehogs, while the rest of us evacuate." Sally said taking charge of the situation. "Right." all said in agreement. Once they left, I've decided that I'm going to sleep.

Dream/Flashback
Here I am just grocery shopping because I wanted to cook and bake for the gang. But my thoughts go to a certain ebony hedgehog, Shadow he is so handsome, sweet, charming, and stro-. "Why hello there, would you be by any chance know an Amy Rose?" A man asks me "Um that would be me."I explained, a little uneasy. "Perfect." He says with a smirk on his face. The next thing I know, I was slapped across the face, punched in the gut, taking a major beat down, and being dragged by my short hair. "GAHH" I screamed in pain "You're going to make a fine bride and lure for HIM." He says evilly. "Who?" I managed to mutter out weakly... "Shadow." He says "Shadow..?AHHHHHHH!!!!!" I screamed as he bites my neck...
Real World/Shadow's P.O.V
"Who..?" I hear Rose as she is dreaming. "Well what do you think we should do?" Faker asked. "If you noting me asking... but uh what in ze world is going on here?" The French coyote asked "Uh Antoine, Ah think it's best if we leave them to their a restin'... alright?" The half cybernetic rabbit said "Now ya'll just holler if ya need us." "Yeah, I'm in the next room so have fun resting I guess." The walrus explained to us. This is quite bothersome, I need to find this "Z" and make him pay for hurting my Rose! "Yeah that's going to be a problem, I don't do this 'sitting around' you speak of, so I'm gonna help the others... Later!" Faker said while running out. "SuguhHog, get back here!" The rabbit said while activating her rocket boosters. "Same here I've got to-" "Shadow..." Rose moans in her slumber. She's starting to sweat, I feel her head, but it's cold, she's having a nightmare, but it concerns me. As I'm waking her up I see a bite mark on her beautiful neck. That bastard is going to pay for this with his life, I'll see to that."Rose... Rose wake up." I said as I started shaking her gently. Her eyes widen and she starts screaming "AHHHHHHHHHH No please let me go!" She says with tears in her eyes "Rose it's me, calm down, it was a bad dream." I explained softly. She finally stops and calms down. "Shadow..? SHADOW!" She starts giving me one of her death grip hugs, but out of fear and she starts crying. "Shhh, Rose you're fine, you're safe." I explained softly and as I look around, I see the others probably went in the other room, or went to go help find Faker. Either way we're alone together. "Shad- I-he-and-I..." "Rose you're hyperventilating, breathe and tell me what's wrong." "I was so scared." She said quietly. "I hate being weak and defenseless, Shadow please..." "Please what?""Don't leave me alone." "Never." "Thank you" "Anytime Rose." She starts rubbing her face into my chest. That feels so good when she does it...Wait-"Rose w-what are you doing?!" I ask as I feel the blood rushing towards my muzzle. "You're really warm and your chest hair is really fuzzy and soft. I like it." She explains as she falls into slumber again. Oh great! Now what am I going to do?! I can't just move her! Well, I guess I'm just going to have to suck it up. Even though I like this better than sleeping alone... "Rose..." I say as I fall into my own slumber.
