Charmy's POV

                Man, I can't believe that I have to go away today!  I got all of my things ready to go back but, leaving Espio and Vector is going to be so hard. I don't want to leave them. Just like Tails and Sonic, they are my family. Of course Vector was the loud and laid back one of the group. and Espio was the strict quiet one. They took me in when I ran away from Dr. Eggman, and they helped me get my home back. For that I can never thank them enough. Yeah, I know I'm loud annoying at times, but back home I'm known as "Prince Charmy" or "You're Highness" or even, "You're Majesty". But with them I can do whatever I want and I don't want to leave that for six years!

Vector's POV

           Wow, Charmy is leavin' today. As much as I hate to admit it, I'm gonna miss that hyperactive bee. At first, I didn't really like the kid. He was SO annoying and LOUD!!! I just was helping him out because I thought it could get my mind of off my recent disagreement with Espio.

*Flashback*

"Is that all you can think about? Just money?" Espio asked me angrily. "No, not really." I answered not really caring. Recently Robotnick took over and I just met up with this "ninja" guy and we decided to stay together until we can find and a rendezvous point and hopefully some Freedom Fighters. "Whatev-" but he was he was cut off by some crying. "Mama...?" "Papa...?" '"WHERE ARE YOU?! WHAAAAAAA!!!!!!!" It was a little boy! And according to Espio, he isn't just any kid, he's the prince to the Hive. "Prince Charmy if I'm not mistaken?" Espio asked confirming my thoughts. "Yeah... But don't call me that please. It's annoying." Wow this kid wasn't in the mood. Well neither was I. "Well sorry to hear that your home was left in ruins kid, but we've gotta go." I said walking off.

Espio's POV
"You-" I cover the princes' ears "BASTARD!!!" I uncovered them. "Are you seriously that heartless enough to let a child roam this dark world ALONE?!?!" The Crocodile looked a little guilty, but then said, "Look, I don't like bursting anyone's bubble here, but he's not the only one who lost just about everything he had." He growled a brutal reminder to me. "Still like the Freedom Fighters, we should fight to take back what was once ours, which means we have to stick together." I told him. "Whatever ninja man, do what you want with the kid, I don't care." He said walking back to where we were headed. "Don't worry little one, we'll make sure we find a safety point and that you're safe along the way." He thanked me shortly after. "Anytime"
Charmy's POV
Well my life pretty much sucks now. My home was taken from me and I was abandoned and finally I meet these two guys who probably don't even want me here. At least the ninja acts like he wants me here. I think his name is Espio... Then there's that Vector guy. What a jerk. Oh well.
Normal POV
"At least I won't have to deal with them any more than I have to!" They all thought.
But little did they know, they grew closer by the second and eventually became friends. Vector revealed that he wanted to be a detective, Espio shared that he was setting out to be a true ninja, and Charmy said that he just wants to live like a normal kid. Along the way, they meet Mighty the Armadillo and Ray the Flying Squirrel, who they became fast friends with and soon enough, their adventures lead them to Knuckles the Echidna. Nothing could break them apart.
*End flashback*
DING DONG!!!!!
Charmy's POV
I hear the doorbell ring and shortly after I hear a hard thud. I go check it out only to see Espio and Vector about to attack some guards from the Hive!! But, something's off... Wait a second, are they................................CRYING?!?! But, why? Shortly after I hear Vector say through sniffles, "If I hear that ANY of you guys are screwing up down there, I will come down myself and eat every last one of you!!!!" I knew it wasn't true, Vector wouldn't hurt a fly. No, seriously!! We had a mission having to beat the crud out o this fly guy, but Vector just couldn't punch the guy out. Espio on the other hand...
"If I hear that Charmy is hurt in any way, shape, or form on YOUR watch, I will end your lives with NO mercy!!! Understand?" That I know could actually happen. But, unbeknownst to me, I was crying silent tears of sorrow and happiness. Sorrow; because we have to be separated for a long time, happiness; because thinking of how the Chaotix started out, then seeing them like this. I mean, before Robotnick attacked, I had no friends, until these guys found me, I finally had friends-no family. Next thing I know, I'm sobbing.
Vector's POV
As I'm threatening this guy, I hear somebody crying, I look over to find my favorite insect on the ground, crying his eyes out. Immediately, I drop the bee and run over to him. "Hey, Charms, what's the matter, pal?" I hear a *klank* and see that Espio did the same thing.
Espio's POV
I drop my kunai and rush over to Charmy and Vector's side. "Is it bad that I'm kinda glad Robotnick took over?" The bee asked with tears in his eyes. Vector and I looked at each other with confused looks on our faces. "Uhh... No, why?" Vector replied. "Because if not his takeover, I wouldn't even know you guys!" He said. "I'm going to miss you guys so much!"  At that moment, I felt my so called cold heart melt. And then I hugged him so tight, that my muscles were starting to get sore. I soon heard a scoff and I looked at the guards and glared at them while Vector hissed at them. (Just to let you know, Vector rarely hisses at people.)
"Sorry to cut this sob fest, but we gotta get the prince back to the kingdom." One of the guards tell us in a rushed tone. And we just glare at him. A couple minutes later we separate, and bid Charmy goodbye with silent tears in our eyes.
