James's POV
Laughing under my breath, I ran toward the common room. The grey cat in my arms wrestled to escape, scratching at my neck. I quickly planted my hand over its jaws just as Snivellus's cat yowled in fury. "James, you stole Sev's cat?!" Lily shrieked. Picking up speed, I elbowed past her. "Sorry Evans!!" I yelled as I charged into the room. "Got him, Padfoot." Sirius smirked evilly, grabbing the cat. He grabbed a bag of dye, and wrote 'I love Dumbledore.' In scarlet on its fur. Peter walked over, and threw gold glitter over the paint.
   After it dried, I set it loose in the Great Hall.

Severus's POV
  Where did that swine take Sal?!! Panting heavily, I rushed into the Great Hall, only to see him covered in red and gold, hissing at the Gryffindors. McGonagall's face was heavily flushed as she ran after my cat. "Professor, Potter stole my cat. That's him, except Potter dyed his fur." Her face turned purple as she turned on James. "Mr. Potter, detention every night for three weeks. And fix his cat!!" She tried to level her voice, but failed dismally.
LOL, James stole a cat. 🐈
