The audience was at the edge of their seat, how could they not be? The last Jaune was so exciting, they just couldn't wait for more. So they waited, and waited, and waited

For 5 months

View finally came back with the next movie, floating back into the theater was a cheery hum

View: sorry for the short wait everyone! Just had to find the right movie!

Yang threw her popcorn at the orb, who weaves out of the way

Yang: short? SHORT! You call that a short wait! We waited for months for you to find that stupid movie!

Ruby pouted

Ruby: I swear If this one isn't a good one I'm gonna be so mad!

The scene opens in a familiar warehouse, with a tied and beaten Jaune arc laying on the ground. The huntsman in training attempted to crawl towards the exit nearby, only for a dress shoe to connect with his back and keep him down.

Jaune turned his head up just enough to see his tormentor for the last few days

Roman torchwick

Juniper lowered her head, it was happening again

Juniper: why are we seeing this again! Wasn't one torture session enough?

Ozpin hummed in thought

Ozpin: everything is the same, but something feels different about this. Last time mr arc was tied to a wall, this time he is on the floor.

Qrow raised an eyebrow

Qrow: and? Does it really matter from what position he is tortured from?

Ozpin shook his head

Ozpin: not necessarily, but if it was truly the same video again everything would need to line up

Roman smiled down at the arc

Roman: now now, don't be trying to run out on me that quick!

Roman grabbed his cane, and held it high

Roman: now I'm gonna need you to help me clear somethings up here, ok cupcake? Now which hurts more....

Neptune gulped

Neptune: I don't like where this is going

He swung his cane down, hitting the young boys body but getting no sound out of him

Roman: right swing?

He swung again

Roman: or left swing?

Again

Roman: forehand?

One final time

Roman: or backhand?

Goodwitch turned a little green at the sight before her

Goodwitch; is he, enjoying it?

Ren shook his head sadly

Ren: he is enjoying beating Jaune, unlike last time where he seemed at least a little reluctant.

Jaune muttered something, catching Roman's attention

Roman leaned down by Jaunes face, placing his ear by Jaunes mouth

Roman: sorry, didn't quite catch that, you probably have a case of a collapsed lung, makes it real hard to speak.

Jaune, instead of speaking, spit a glob of bloody spit onto Romans cheek.

Nora smiled a bit at that sight

Nora: he's still fighting! It's not over yet Jaune!

Romans grin dropped for a second as he slapped the arc, and wiped his face with a cloth.

Roman: that was rude!

Roman was once again going to hit Jaune with his cane, but a call from his scroll got him to stop, it was his employer cinder calling him

Cinder: Time to go Roman, Qrow is closing in on you. Is the kid dead?

Roman chuckled

Roman: not yet, but he will be soon.

Pyhrra gritted her teeth

Pyyhra: come on, please make it this time!

Qrow gripped his armchair, he wasn't looking forward to seeing him fail this kid again

Roman grabbed his coat and headed for the door

Roman: ok kiddo, I'm heading out. Now you be a good boy and do your homework while I'm gone!

Roman laughed at his own joke

Roman: oh, and next time you see the big crow guy, tell him I said— hello

Roman slammed the door shut, leaving Jaune in a warehouse with a ticking bomb counting down from 1:20 

Roman shook his head at the other hims actions, he would never take pleasure in torturing a kid, even if it was one who was a pain in his side

Cinder frowned slightly, that was an awfully long timer

Qrows motorcycle flew through the snowy terrain of atlas, Pyyhra holding on tight as the warehouse came into view.

Qrow: Pyyhra stay here, and tell ozpin to get a medical bullhead here asap!

Pyhhra opened her mouth to protests but didn't As Qrow dismounted, turning into his bird form and flying straight into warehouse

Tai: that's, new

Qrows heart began to race, could be really save the kid this time?

Both team RWBY and NPR were also thinking similar thoughts, could Jaune be saved from his fate this time?

Qrow flew in through a broken window, transforming back into his human dorm and landed by Jaune.

Qrow: it's ok kid, I got you.

But that's when Qrow notice the timer, which was counting down to their demise

Summer held her breath

Summer: come on Qrow, get out of there!

Qrow picked up Jaune and ran to the door, only for it to not budge

John felt as if his heart was going to stop from all this stress, please don't let his son die like this  again

Raven tensed slightly

Qrow threw himself at the door repeatedly, the door creaking with ever hit

Yang and ruby held each other close

Yang: come on you old drunk, get out of there!

Ruby only whimpered

The door bursted open, and Qrow shielded Jaune from the blast as it engulfed them both

Tai gasped

Tai: NO!

Ruby cried out as she watched her crush and uncle get engulfed by flames

Opzin lowered his head at the sight, Goodwitch and ironwood joining him in the act

Raven felt herself tear up slightly at the sight, her brother stupidly getting himself killed for that boy was not out of character for him. But still, losing the last part of her family hurt her in some way

But as the smoke cleared, the two figures were still there.

Jaune dragged himself over towards Qrow, who was bloody and burned but still breathing

Ruby let out a small sigh of relief, but quickly noticed how bad Qrow looked

Ruby: he saved Jaune, but at the cost of his own life...

Jaune: oh god, Qrow, Qrow! I'm so sorry, I can fix this! I'll call an ambulance or something!

Qrow just shushed the kid, and gave him a smile

Even when nearing death, the old man still smiled

Qrow: Jaune-

Jaune cut him off, frantically trying to help his mentor

Jaune: I can call for help or-

Qrow: No time for that kid-

He coughed up some blood

Qrow: listen to me

Jaune stopped squirming around and listened

Qrow: promise me you won't kill Roman for killing me

Summer: No Qrow don't give up, it's not over yet keep fighting!

Tai embraced his wife

Tai: summer....

Summer shook her head in disbelief

Summer: No, he can't die, he can't!

Blake: Roman should die for all he's done, why would Qrow tell Jaune otherwise?

Qrow continued

Qrow: protecting Vale, helping others, it healed me, helped me see all the good in this world I thought was lost to the darkness. I want that for you Jaune....

Qrow again coughed up some blood

Qrow: I know the pain inside you, you have it use it to be strong. For your team, pyhhra ren and Nora, for your family, and for Roman.

Jaune was close to tears

Jaune: Qrow....

Qrow: promise me you'll be strong

Jaune stumbled over his words

Jaune: I-I

Qrow: promise me...

And with that, the legendary huntsman Qrow dies

Ruby dives into her uncles arms and holds him tight, joined by the rest of their extended family

Raven watches from afar, a silent tear going down her cheek

Pyhrra ran up to the destruction, seeing Jaune laying over the dead body of his mentor. She ran up and embraced Jaune

Pyhrra: oh Jaune I'm so sorry, we are going to get you all fixed up

Ren: at least Jaune survived, Qrows sacrifice was not in vain

Jaune began a small monologue in his head

'Fixed up, but changed'

Jaune is laying in bed, completely rapped in bandages, surrounded by his team and sister team. Both of which were smiling down at him, yet he was frowning

'Skin graphes, scar tissue, stitches, 72 days bedridden'

'The outside in healing, the inside is not. There's a war going on in my head, a murderous desire wanting to be unleashed'

'It's like suddenly I can see through walls, through lies, through all there lies'

Weiss's eyes narrowed

Weiss: what is he saying? What lies?

Winter: he sounds delusional

Opzin shook his head

Ozpin: he sounds like he wants vengeance

'Like the smiles they use to hide their pity and fear'

Pyhrras was confused by this

Pyyhr: of course we Pity him, he just almost died!

'I was fine before Qrow brought me into this family, I was alone before this family, I was alive before I let this insanely messed up family lead me to slaughter!'

Jaune starts to hallucinate, seeing Roman's face instead of the faces of his friends, instead of hearing his own thoughts he hears the sound of cane connecting with his skin

Ironwood: he blames Qrow for what's happened?

Ozpin:his youthful mind was broken by all that has happened to him. Someone must stop him before he does something he will regret

Jaune ran away from beacon, getting into a bullhead and flying into vale

'No more family'

Jaune now stood on the roofs of vale, dawning a very similar outfit

A Kevlar chest piece , covered by a leather jacket, army pants and boots, with a red helmet at his side. The helmet was round with row angry eyeholes being the only thing visible. He dawned the helmet, and the red hood was born again

Jaune: evil can't be cured, only killed

Mercury felt a slight shiver go down his spine at these words, he looked over to see it had a similar effect on emerald.

Mercury: he's going to kill us

Emerald shook her head in defiance

Emerald: he will fail

Arthur watts was a man who had built his own criminal empire inside of vale. He was even cocky enough to have his office inside a giant building with huge windows

Mercury laughed a bit

Mercury: that does sound like watts

one night he was looking out his giant windows, a large red dot appeared on his forehead. He looked to the source to find Red Hood aiming a giant rocket launcher right at him, and to add insult to injury Red hood even waves at him before pulling the trigger

Watts tried to run, only for the rocket to make contact with him, setting him on fire and launching watts out the window. The criminal emperor plummeted to his death  

Emerald flinched at the sight of her alley dieing in such a brutal way

Ozpin  sighed  sadly

Ozpin: it seems Mr arc has fallen from the light, a truly sad thing to see

Pyhrra was heartbroken upon seeing this

Pyhrra: even if he's saved from the explosion, nothing can save him from the path he is set on

Next, the pickpocket and illusionist Emerald. She had a habit of getting caught and making her way out of it, this time however she did not make it out

Emerald was captured by team Rwby, with her now already in aura dampening cuffs

Emerald gulped

Emerald: I don't like where this is going

Jaune almost laughed when he saw this, his job was already done for him

As emerald was  being put in a cop car when a sniper shot was fired directly into her head, ending her life.

Ruby promptly threw up at the scene, whether it was at the thought of helping Jaune kill someone or the death itself was debatable

Next was the assassin Mercury

The police found him in 7 different spots, he was completely dismembered, with what looked to be a steak knife

Mercury shivered

Mercury; brutal, I hope that's not how I go out in the real world

Ironwood: he has become a threat, why isn't there at least a huntsman team on him?

Opzin: that would only cause more death, he seems more then skilled enough to take a team of huntsman  out if he can do this

Finally was the man who had caused him all this trouble, Who has beaten to an inch of his life and killed his mentor.

Roman torchwick

Roman held his head low, he probably deserved this

Roman was currently leading an armed robbery of an atlas armed truck. He was standing on top, ordering his men to grab things and kill people when he felt a shadows pass overhead

He turned around and saw the Redhood standing on a low roof nearby

Roman: finally, was wondering when you'd show!

Jaune jumped down and kicked Roman off the truck, sending him flying down to the pavement.

Roman jumped back up and twirled his cane in hand

Roman: bring it you poser! Let me show you who the real criminal big shot is! It's me! Not you, you hot topic reject!

Jaune pulled out his hunting knife, and twirled it around his fingers

He rushed Roman, swinging the blade Diagonally at Roman's chest

Roman blocked it with his cane and pushed Jaune back, swinging his cane down at him

Jaune jumped back away from the cane, and unleashed a series of fasts stabs at Roman

Roman spun his cane around rapidly, blocking each stab

Mercury: dam Roman, I didn't think you were this competent of a fighter!

Roman: come on hood, you can do better then this! I was expecting something more exciting from you! 

Until Roman stepped on something that started to beep, he looked down to see Jaune had been leading him over to a bomb that had been planted beforehand

Roman: oh shi-

A few in the Audience chuckled despite the situation

Roman was launched by the explosion, sending him flying into the truck and breaking his aura

Roman stood up, wiping some blood from his lip, and looked up at Jaune who was pointing a gun at him

Jaune: was that rude?

He reached up and removed his helmet, dropping it on the ground

Jaune: I never did learn my manors

Romans eyes widened

Roman: Arcy boy!

He started to laugh hysterically, confusing Jaune

Nora: he's laughing? Doesn't he know he's gonna die?

Jaune: what? What's so funny! What are you laughing at!

Roman: oh I always knew there was some of old Roman here in you!

Jaunes eyes widened

Jaune: what?

Roman: look at you! All it took was a little beating from my cane and you were reborn! A cold blooded killer! Just like your old man!

He pointed at himself

Jaune stuttered

Jaune: I'm, I'm not like you! I promised Qrow, I promised...

Roman laughed some more and imitated him

Roman: "Qrow, Qrow!" Oh shut up! Now tell me!

He put his head to the barrel of Jaunes pistol

Roman: who's your daddy?

Jaune could only think of the warehouse, the beatings, the torture. The 27 shattered bones, the mental abuse, the murder of his mentor and father figure Qrow

And Jaune shot Roman square in the head
