''Guys...?'' Waluigi said in a quiet shock.

''Purple, you seemed like you had forgotten your own birthday! And we couldn't accept that, so we contacted some people that you know and we all planned a little suprise for you!'' Black said as he dunked his hand on Waluigi's back.

''Huh... I guess I had forgotten about it...'' Waluigi said, still suprised over what was happening. ''But you didn't have to do this, it's too much-''

''Ah, come on, bro!'' Wario chuckled. ''You've been so helpful to us all the time and we just treated it like it was nothing. This is the least we could do!''

''And we're your cousins, family treat each other equally, right?'' Mario smiled.

''I guess...'' Waluigi said as he scratched his neck.

''Enough with the chit-chat!'' White said. ''Open the present already!''

They handed the package to Waluigi, it was a small one wrapped in light-blue paper with a pretty pink bow on top. He eagerly ripped the paper apart to see what was inside. In the small package was a carboard box with a lid, he slowly and carefully opened it to reveal a golden necklace with an upside down L hanging on it with its front covered in white gems.

''Aw, guys. You didn't have to give me this.'' He said in awe. 

''Come on, purple, put it on! Let's see how you look in it!'' Blue said excitedly.

Waluigi put it around his neck and looked at it for a moment. ''Wow, it looks really good on you!'' Luigi said.

''How did you-''

''We all gathered all the cash we had and Peach paid for the rest.'' Black explained. ''Worth it, though.''

Soon, the small party got started. Everybody had brought their roller skates and they all had fun, even thought Peach and Mario stayed out of the skating rink and were satisfied to just talk with each other. Soon, Daisy joined them after skating for a little while.

''Sooo... how did you princesses get here?'' Wario asked them. They chuckled in response. ''Toadsworth can't keep a girl like me in the castle like a prisoner, I have a few tricks up my sleeve. And it'll take a long time until he finds me if I play my cards right.''

''I'm here because I don't have someone to look over me every fifth minute, I can do whatever I want, to be honest.'' Daisy said. Mario gave out a laugh. ''Wow, you two are pretty wild for being princesses!'' Peach chuckled. ''Well, who wants to be all princess-like ALL the time?''

Waluigi saw Daisy laugh, she was so cute when she did that, he wanted to do something daring. He went up to her shyly and their gazes turned to him. ''Um, Daisy?'' He asked.

''Yeah?'' She energetically said.

''W-Would you like to... dance?''

She stared at him for a moment quietly, then she smiled and gave out a slight chuckle while blushing a little. ''Sure, I'd love to!''

They held each other's hand as they made their way to the middle of the skating rink. They started to skate around in a small circle with their hands entangled into each other. The others stared amazed at their movements and wondered how they even could dance with roller skates on. Luigi was, although, a little jealous. Both he and Waluigi had feelings for Daisy, but neither of them had told her anything. But right now it seemed like Waluigi was winning the game.

Both Waluigi and Daisy made graceful movements, they jumped, they swooshed around. It was a very pretty sight. Soon, they ended the dance and everybody clapped their hands... everybody except two, who were just staring at the dance couple with sad frowns, Luigi and White. But they quickly changed their expressions so nobody would notice them.

As the night slowly became darker, they all decided to get going. Waluigi thanked everybody for coming and he couldn't be thankful enough for his birthday present.

And as they got home, the gang wanted to remember this night. They got their camera and took a picture together. ''That's going to be a treasured valuable.'' Black said. And then, when everyone had gone to bed, White was still up, sitting by her desk, writing letters.

''Purple, I have to say that I loved celebrating your birthday, your necklace really suits you. And it was fun to go roller skating with you and the others. But there's one important thing that I need to tell you: I love you and I can't deny it any longer. I know that you love Daisy more than me but I just want to tell you, I need to let it out.''

She frowned and crumbled up the paper with her hands. ''No... it's not good enough...'' She mumbled. ''Damn Daisy, just stick with Luigi...''

This feeling she had wasn't something that would turn out great. It would soon turn into a grudge... and soon a bloodthirst.
