Wario gave me a red mushroom to eat so my wounds would heal a little faster, as I chewed it down Mona stared at us with a small frown. ''And how long do you two think that you can keep this as a secret from everyone?''

''Mona...'' Wario sighed. ''Can you please stop talking about it? It triggers Waluigi to have some... bad flashbacks.''

''Humpf...'' She said and crossed her arms again. ''Okay, I'll stop.''

Wario offered me to stay at his place tonight. Actually, I neither agreed or disagreed, I just quietly went with him into a room with a bed. He told me that I could sleep there and rest until my wounds were healed again. I laid down and tried to get some sleep, but the thought of the roses made me anxious and more awake than ever. My eyes darted between every corner of the room, constantly worried that one of them would be standing there to beat me up again. In the end I forced myself under the sheets and engulfed my entire body in darkness. After ten minutes I managed to fall asleep, but my dreams made me wish that I would've just stayed awake.

Horrible memories playing before my eyes, White, Black, Blue and Red... they were all there! Taunting me for what I did. I cried for help, I cried out my brother's name, but he didn't come to help me this time. I was all alone. I was just... a nobody.

*RING!*

I woke up suddenly by a phonecall. I took out my phone and saw that Shawn was calling. I answered and was met with a very uneasy voice. ''Waluigi? Is that you?!''

''Yes, it's me. What do you want?'' I answered him and sighed.

''Where are you?! I've been looking for you everywhere! You're not home, and not at the office!''

''Calm down.'' I said. ''I'm staying at Wario's place.''

He paused for a moment. ''You what? Why are you with him? Why aren't you at work? What's going on?''

''I...'' I tried to come up with a lie. ''I thought I'd take a day off! That's right!''

Shawn got quiet, then answered with a simple ''Okay'' and cancelled the call. Did he believe it? Ah, he'll probably believe it.

I looked to the right side of the bed and saw that my shirt were lying on a chair all dry and folded neatly, and on a hook on the wall my coat was hanging, still loaded with Bob-ombs and the piranha plant pot. I put them both on and went out of the room where I was greeted by Wario. He was glad that I was okay and Mona was too. But I wasn't planning on staying, as soon as I could, I went outside and started marching towards the office.

*Shawn's POV*

I hung up. It wasn't like Waluigi to skip a day of work, something was wrong, very wrong. Theese last couple of days weren't exactly normal. I stood in front of his house already... so I might as well search for clues!

I knew the front door was locked but I also knew that a spare key was under the doormat by the backdoor. Only problem was that his whole garden was full of piranha plants...

Screw it!

I sneaked around the house until I came to the fence surrounding the garden. I climbed over it and got ready to be chomped at. But to my suprise the plants were quiet, completely silent. They had their heads turned to me but didn't do anything to stop me. What was this? What kind of guarding plants are they?

But my vision was drawn to a brown pile of... something almost covered with snow. I went closer and saw what it was: a piranha plant, dead, rotten. It had probably died last night. I looked at all the other plants, they had no expression. The only thing they did was stare.

''I'm so sorry...'' I said to them and moved closer to the house where I picked up the key and opened the door. Chompy jumped into me happily and made it hard for me to keep my balance, although I managed to calm him down after a while. He jumped away into the kitchen, I curiously followed him to see what he was doing and saw him pick something up with his mouth from under the counter. It looked like a small package, tied together with a brown string. I got closer to try and take it from him but he probably sensed what I was going to do and ran away out into the garden with it. I ran after him and it turned into a wild chase. And to make it all worse: Chompy started to bark so that all piranha plants started to chomp at me. After a very difficult time to try to calm everything down I got ahold of the little package and went inside to open it.

It was a purple box, and when I opened it I saw several papers that looked like they had been crumbled together and then unfolded again. They all looked like letters with several things written on them. Then, under the big pile, there was a photo of... some weird looking people standing together with a very young Waluigi and Wario holding... guns?! They all did a cool pose and to be honest; it didn't look very cool, they probably just thought it did. The people on the photo were looking rather shady. First of all, there was a blue yoshi with sunglasses, he was dressed in a black leather jacket and black shoes and had a spiked choker around his neck, it looked like one that Bowser would wear, there was a green paratroopa with an eyepatch standing next to Wario, and... Lakithunder? Wow, I have only heard of him in the news a couple of times, he was an outcast and always robbed banks. Did Wario and Waluigi know this guy? I looked at Waluigi and saw one more person standing next to him, a white Birdo. They held their arms around each other and it looked like they were pretty close friends, maybe even boyfriend and girlfriend? They seemed very happy, nontheless.

My attantion then got drawn to the letters, they were all handwritten in a very beautiful style. I started Reading the first one in my head.

''Dear Waluigi...''

You: ARG! NO! NOT THERE! YOU CAN'T END IT THERE!
