''That's all.'' I said to wrap the story up. ''Now you know.''

Shawn and Claire was quiet for a small time. They stared down at the floor looking a little sad. ''Waluigi... you've been through alot...'' Claire said.

''Yeah... now I get why Daisy doesn't like you...'' Shawn added.

''It was either that or Peach's parents.'' I answered.

''But why did you keep being a criminal after all that? You could've started a new life.'' Claire asked and looked at me concerned.

''I don't really have an answer for that, I was a very stupid teenager. But I knew deep down that I could never run away from my criminal life, and that has been prooven theese last few days. Once a rose, always a rose.''

''But you can't proove that you were part of them either, right? I mean, what evidence are there to say you were?'' Claire asked.

''Alot.'' I shortly replied.

Shawn and Claire raised their eyebrows in question. ''Like what?''

I sighed harshly. ''Shawn, have you never noticed that I've always hid my back from everyone whenever we were in the changing rooms in the gym?''

Shawn thought for a moment. ''Yeah... I have noticed it actually...''

''Well, now I'm gonna' show you why.''

I quickly took off my shirt in a quick swoop and turned around to show them my back. I could hear them both gasp.

*Shawn's POV*

I gasped as I saw Waluigi's back. Right in the middle of his back were a tattoo of a purple rose, it was fairly big and scars were covering some parts of it. ''What is that?'' Claire asked worriedly.

''It's our mark. Every member has one in their respective colour.'' Waluigi explained. ''Black, Blue and Red has it on their shells, White, Wario and I has it on our backs.''

''But... why is there scars everywere?'' I asked and took a closer look.

''Tattoos never go away, shortly after I got out of prison I was haunted by the bad memories that the tattoo gave me and I tried to cut it out. Wario stopped me before I almost started to bleed to death.''

''Geez, Waluigi.'' Claire said. ''It must've hurt alot, does Rosalina know about this?''

He nodded slowly. ''She has seen it, but doesn't question it. She can probaby sense that it makes me upset.''

''We must do something about this. The roses are dangerous, they must be arrested.'' Claire said.

''Easier said than done.'' Waluigi replied as he put on his shirt again. ''They are good at hiding, that's for sure. We'll have to meet them on monday, bring the whole police force.''

''But White said-''

''I know what she said.'' Waluigi interrupted me. ''But we don't have any other choice.''

*Two days later, Waluigi's POV*

I was planning on what to do on monday together with Wario, Peach, Mario, Luigi, Shawn and Claire. We were a little stumped at the moment since we didn't know if the roses had more members or any weapons.

''I don't think that Bowser wants to help, Wario.'' Peach sighed as she facepalmed. ''Why would he?''

''I dunno, maybe he's bored and want to do something together with us?''

''That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard.'' Luigi said.

''Well, at least I'm trying to help!'' Wario said and stared angrily at Luigi. They started to argue with each other while everyone else sat and facepalmed even more.

''Guys, can you not act like children?'' I asked. They turned their heads towards me. ''Sorry Waluigi...'' Wario said and went quiet, same with Luigi.

''What if we all hide and wait for them to come, then we suprise them and attack?'' Mario suggested.

''Good idea.'' I said. ''But they might figure it out, never underrestimate their intelligence.''

''Still worth a try though...'' Shawn said and stared down at the table.

''He's right Waluigi.'' Peach said. ''What other choice do we have?''

*One day later*

Rosalina was coming home today, not a great timing but I was still happy that I would see her. We waited for her observatory to land at the usual place. We could see it in the sky, getting closer each second. It softly landed on the ground and we all waited for Rosalina to step out. But... she never came.

Instead, Polari floated towards us, crying. ''Papa! Papa!'' All the Lumas yelled.

I embraced Polari as he continued crying. ''Waluigi! Something terrible has happened!''

''Calm down, what is it?'' I asked.

''Rosalina, she... she's gone!''

''Gone?'' Mario gasped.

''Yes! She said that she would just go away for a moment to check something out but she never came back!''

I was shocked to hear what he was saying. I looked worriedly at Shawn that was right next to me. ''What are we going to do? Now we have another problem at our hands.''

Shawn started to run around in circles. ''This is terrible! We have to find her as soon as possible! Who knows what could've happened to her?!''

I sighed since Shawn was not helping at all. Polari never stopped crying and everything just felt like a mess. We searched everywhere, we visited the places that Rosalina normally visited while she was on earth. But it gave us no result, she was gone without a trace. I started to get really worried, in the worst case my wife could probably be dead!

No, let's not think like that. Think positive, Waluigi! Come on!

Then I suddenly realised something. I stared at the others with a terrified look.

''What if the roses took her?''

They all started to panic, even Mario, which was a very rare sight. ''This can't be happening! Those roses are gonna pay!'' Wario said.

After a while when everyone calmed down we all decided to stick with the plan. Rosalina was powerful, maybe the roses didn't take her. But there was nothing we could do about it right now since we didn't have a single clue of where the roses were hiding.

I quietly went home together with all the Lumas, they were more quiet than they used to be. I tried to cheer them up but they didn't even react to whatever I would say. So I just decided to shut up and let them be alone for as long as they would like. When we reached our house and I opened the door I noticed that someone had slid a small paper under it. I opened it up and read the few words loudly in my head.

''Your princess is waiting for you, loverboy.''

I got angry and ripped the paper in half and threw it out in the garden so that it sunk in the snow. I felt my eyes starting to burn and soon I was crying. I locked myself in my bedroom and let the tears flow, the feeling of guilt and fear washed over me, if I wasn't such a stupid teenager none of this would've happened in the first place. But I'm going to fix all of this and bring Rosalina home safely.

Tomorrow is the day... when I'll confront my fears and defeat them once and for all.
