''Hey, Waluigi!'' Shawn said as he peeked his head through the door to my office.

''What is it?'' I asked. ''I'm doing some important paperwork right now, so make it quick.''

''The new assistant is here, you haven't forgotten, right?''

I immediately remember now that he mentioned it and I let out a small gasp. ''She's here already?!''

''Yep! Say hello to Claire!''

Shawn gestured with his hand and walked in together with a blue Toadette.

''Hi there, Claire!'' I said in a cheerful tone. ''Nice to meet you.''

She stared at me and her face lit up. ''You're detective Waluigi!'' She said and pointed at me in exitement. ''I've heard so much about you, but I never knew that I would work together with you!''

She shook my hand, I was quite suprised at how strong her grip was. ''Well, I hope that we'll have a nice time working together.'' I chuckled.

Later on, I was still doing paperwork. Shawn came in and gave me a cup of coffee and told me more about Claire. ''You know, she's pretty strong for being so small.'' He said.

''And how's she doing right now? Has she settled in yet?''

''She's already placed three bobbleheads at her desk. It's like she's already been working here for months.''

''Good to hear.'' I shortly replied while sipping on my coffee.

''But she's a little...'' Shawn paused.

''A little... what?'' I asked, just finish your sentence!

''A little clumsy. She's knocked over five stacks of paper already.''

That can't be good. I went out of my office to go see what Claire was doing. She was sitting at her desk, filing some files. Then, she knocked over her coffee cup so that the coffee spilled all over her papers. She then sprinted off to the breakroom to take as much napkins as possible and came back and tried to clean up her mess. And then, when you thought that it was over, she managed to drop the wet napkins onto her computer's keyboard, making it shut down.

''Claire.'' I finally said. She jumped as she heard my voice and let out a little ''eep!'' as she turned around to face me. ''Oh, m-mister Waluigi!'' She said and tried to put on a smile.

''What are you doing?'' I asked.

''Uh, I'm... cleaning my computer. That's right!''

I stared at her shut-down computer for a second. ''Seriously, Claire.'' I said and sighed. ''What are you doing?''

She frowned. ''I'm sorry, I've always been so clumsy...''

''It's okay, but please try to... not make such a mess. Okay?''

She smiled and nodded. ''Okay!''

I turned to walk back to my office, but after taking a few steps Claire stopped me. ''Detective!'' She said behind me. I turned around to face her again. ''Hm?''

''You... have a spider on your shoulder...'' She said and poined at me.

I looked over on my shoulder and saw a really small spider crawling towards my face. I quickly brushed it off. ''Thanks Claire.'' I said and headed to my office again where Shawn was waiting for me. And as soon as I sat down I realised something.

''Wait...'' I said out loud.

''What is it?'' Shawn asked.

I looked at my shoulder where the spider was before. ''How did she see that small spider when I was so far away from her?''

Shawn stared at me confused for a moment, then tried to answer my question. ''Well, in her papers it says that she has excellent eyesight, better than any of us here in the office. That was one of the main things of why she got hired.''

I continued to look at my shoulder for a moment before looking at Shawn. ''Well, she could be really useful around here then, even if she IS really clumsy.''
