It was a nice and sunny day in spring, everybody was enjoying the warm weather and thought that it was a perfect day for a picnic or maybe a trip to the beach. But this was not the case for our dear detective. He thought that it was a perfect day for working in his garden and take care of his dear piranha plants. He put on his khaki gardening clothes and went out in his garden and began to pull some weeds around his plants.

After an hour of work, his cousins; Mario and Luigi, went by his house and saw him working hard by himself. They said hi to him and asked: ''Why are you working hard on such a wonderful day?''

Waluigi looked at them with an annoyed look. ''I like taking care of my plants, it's a hobby.''

The two brothers looked at each other confused, then smiled back at the detective. ''Well, it's still work, can we maybe help you in any way?''

Waluigi was confused, they had never shown interest in his plants, they didn't exactly like piranha plants at all since Bowser use alot of them to try and stop them from saving the princess. And Waluigi disliked that they had hurt alot of plants as well with their fireballs and whatnot. But he thought that he maybe would get done faster if they helped. ''Alright, you can help. Just don't hurt my plants.''

They happily agreed and went to help. Their first task was to move some of the plants to other places in the garden. They had to dig up the plants together with their roots and put them in pots. Easy, they thought. But anything's easier said than done.

Luigi grabbed a shovel and started digging around a blue piranha plant, it was acting pretty agressive towards him, trying to chomp his leg every other second. Waluigi was amused by how uneducated the brothers were about theese plants, and looked at how they really tried their best to dig up the plants from the ground.

Luigi finally managed to dig around the blue plant so that he could lift it up, but it caused him trouble as soon as he lifted it. It immediately bit his nose and didn't show a sign that it would let go. Luigi started to panic and yell as he felt the sharp teeth push down more and more. Mario came to the rescue and tried to pull it off, but it only made the plant more agressive.

Waluigi laughed quietly and sighed at their little dramashow. He calmly went over to them and gently put his hand on the plant's head. It slowly started to release its grip on Luigi's nose and soon let go entirely.

Rosalina then opened the backdoor to see what all the ruckus was about. All three of them said hi to her awkwardly as she closed in on Luigi when she saw the bitemarks on his nose. She took out her wand and quickly waved it around, then touched his nose with it and it fully healed. She then stared at her husband with a small hint of worry in her eyes. ''Please Waluigi, if your cousins are having trouble: help them immediately.''

He smiled as he tried to hold a small chuckle back. ''Of course, my dear princess.''

She calmly went into the house again and left the three alone to do their job. Luigi could now put the plant in the pot and move it without any problems. But then, Waluigi said that they would water the plants. And all the plants reacted to the word ''water'' and went crazy. They flailed their heads around as they chomped happily. Mario and Luigi looked a little scared, but Waluigi was used to this and stood unaffected by the hundreds of chomping  sounds.

Waluigi grabbed the garden hose and turned the water on and handed it to Mario. He carefully started spraying water at the plants, but Waluigi felt a little naughty today and let the water flow get stronger and stronger until Mario couldn't control it in the end. The brothers both tried to hold down the hose but it was like a wild snake, they started to tangle themselves in the hose and soon everything was just a watery mess. Waluigi laughed as if he hadn't laughed for days, he was very amused by the sight but then decided that the fun was over and turned the water off. Mario and Luigi stared angrily at him as he helped them untangle themselves from the mess of a hose.

But right as Luigi got out of the hose's grip, he grabbed it and started spraying water at the detective while a playful evil smile appeared on his face. Waluigi was shocked over what he just did, but then gave the same evil smile back and tried to steal the hose from Luigi. It soon turned into a big waterfight filled with laughter.

But they had so much fun that they didn't even notice Rosalina standing by and watching them with a disapproving look on her face. The three soon noticed and immediately stopped goofing around and stared at her with terrified looks.

But instead of being angry, she broke out in laughter. ''You're so childish sometimes!''

They all laughed and went inside to dry themselves and drink some hot chocolate. By the end of the day, the two Mario Brothers decided to go home. And even if Waluigi disliked them, he thought that hanging with them today was kind of fun.

And I'm just gonna leave it at that. Just a quick little story of what Waluigi likes to do in his free time. He really loves piranha plants, like, geez. xD

And I'm sorry it's been so long you guys! I have a terrible writers-block and can barely write two sentences anymore without getting stuck. I've tried to get rid of it but it's not going well. I hope you can bare with me and be patient. I still try to write, I really do but it doesn't go well. But I promise you that the next chapter is the start of a new long story!
