This series has to be one of my favorite animes/mangas. Seriously. Watch it. Most people say Fairy Tail is too cliche and is really cheesy. But it has good themes about family and this is the first anime this heartless smol bean has cried over. Seriously. Its pretty good. People also say that is a bad practice having the good guy win everytime. But these characters still struggle. Its not like in any other good animes/mangas the main characters dont end up winning in the end. These characters struggle and if you want to read or watch it wear a seat belt because there is a lot of heavy piles and miles of devistatingly sad backstory. But I am one who enjoys piles of piles of backstory. The anime has a few extra arcs because the manga was producing slow and thats what the anime was fuled off of. But honestly, I would watch the anime first (if you are interested) souley because those arcs are mentioned in the manga but not shown.
